Delicious and healthy restaurant chain in liberty station. Love the choices coming here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of parking, and beautiful place to walk around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My favorites are the salads and sandwiches. Definitely worth a stop!

Thai bowl - delicious but watch out for the spicy dressing!

I didn't know what to expect when I wandered in here around 1:30pm on a weekend and was ready to have some lunch, and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food is! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was pretty empty with maybe 2 tables inside and one person eating outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location can't be beat with plenty of outdoor seating to soak up the sun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Thai bowl and initially I wasnt too interested in grilled shrimp and steak, and asked for tofu, but they didnt have it. The lady ringing me up was baffled initially when I said I didnt want shrimp or steak. In the end, I decided to follow the rules and went with the grilled shrimp. You order at the register, take a number and food brought out to you. I sat outside and about 10min later, my lunch arrived. Thanks goodness I always ask for any kind of dressing on the side because this dressing while very tasty was also very spicy. I wish it was just a tad less spicy as my mouth was on fire and I only poured in about a quarter of what was given. The vegetables were fresh and tasty, rice was very moist and you can taste the coconut too. Grill shrimp was fresh and perfect. Overall, an excellent lunch! Prices are higher than I would like to spend for casual lunch but not much I can do about that. Parking lot has plenty of space and you can also do some grocery shopping here with Vons and TJs in the same plaza. Id definitely come back and want to try some of their other items like their all vegetable platter!

My husband and I came here for lunch. We ordered sea bass plate with seasonal vegetables and a small pozole soup on the side and a tuna ahi plate with fries and seasonal vegetables on the side. We sat outside. After 1/2 hour, my husband checked inside to see if our meal was lost. Turns out that ours was next in line. The food came out hot. My sea bass was light in texture but didn't have much flavor if any. My husband was happy with his meal. I did try my husband's fries and the ketchup for his fries were tasty. There was parking nearby. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice atmosphere inside and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We came on a monday for late lunch so it wasn't too busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You order & pay first then seat yourself which is nice. The pesto pasta was decent; good sauce & pasta cooked well but the chicken was a bit dry for me. The california bowl was pretty much as you might expect it to be. The salmon was cooked nicely, not overdone. The butternut squash was not too mushy nor too hard. Overall the bowl was a nice balance of color, flavor, and textures in every bite.

    Driest cake ever.

Not sure what happened to this place. It's only hit or miss now but last 3 times have all been misses. I don't think we will be back. We come here almost 1-2x a month. I order the avocado blt. It was swimming in some pesto sauce and only 3 little pieces of avocado. One half of the sandwich didn't have any avocado on it. I swear I can still taste that pesto is was so potent and overpowered the entire sandwich. It was super greasy too which made no sense. Asked for veggies on the side...never received the veggies. Asked for the lava cake but its bit called that. Received two very DRY chocolate cakes. Like had to down my drink to swallow a couple if bites. Please do better tender greens. It's been pretty downhill lately.

Overall it was a good experience. The food was good but bland, the Pozole was not my cup of tea. Tastes like something your by in a can from a grocery store. The bbq chicken and steak are delicious. The salad and mashed potatoes always hit. The mint lemonade was a favorite of ours. The service was friendly, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the restaurant was clean and pleasant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I absolutely LOOOOVE Tender Greens! [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you come at a good time- I come during the week between 2-3PM, it's not busy at all and the food tastes really fresh.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you come during dinner rush- food can be cold and not fresh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have TONS of online orders and delivery drivers running in and out of the place. Honestly they should have a separate area for that because it gets chaotic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I LOVE the tender burger plate and the steak plate. My go-tos! I will say I was not a fan of the roasted potatoes- way too much oil but the fries are good. Their meat is excellent- it's very well seasoned and very well cooked and that's honestly one of the main reasons I come. The first time I came and got the steak plate the mashed potatoes were dry, but that was evening time. When I got the steak plate mid-day with mash potatoes- it tasted better. Also the bread they give you with the dinner plate SUCKS! It's inedible and dry and they use it for the croutons and it's so bad! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall I like tender greens but it really depends on what time you come in and I find that in the middle of the day is the best time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They could improve the bread and store layout as far as the chaos of all their delivery orders but the food is delicious![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I get verbally love Tender Greens....this was my first time at this location in Liberty Station. I usually get the same thing because it's BOMB - the Mediterranean Steak Salad but this was the first time I didn't love it. It had way way too much dressing which was overpowering the other flavors. I'm not sure if the lettuce was wilted or if it was the dressing that made it so soft. I have not had this issue at any other location so I would be willing to come back and try again and am only knocking one star because I don't think that experience was the norm. When we walked in, there was an advertisement for a hamburger they were offering, so my dad ordered that. It was a little small and didn't come with any sides, but he was satisfied with it. It wasn't busy when I came so we ordered very quickly and easily. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The young lady working was very nice and the place was clean and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is plentiful at Liberty Station and there are so many places nearby if you wanted to do some shopping or squeeze a little walk in after your meal so the location is fantastic.

We were visiting Liberty Station at Point Loma and decided to eat in the area! We looked around and checked Yelp. We decided to check out Tender Greens!! We both decided on a salad with a protein. The first salad was grilled steak, seasonal vegetables, romaine lettuce. The second salad was grilled steak, seasonal vegetables, and baby arugula. My salad was FANTASTIC! The baby arugula was tossed with a Parmesan cheese lemon vinaigrette. My friend ate most of her salad. She left quite a bit of lettuce mixture on her plate. I asked if she was full. She said she was finish. She said, you can have the rest! I tried a bite and she laughed! It was very WATERY! It was like they never drained the water and no dressing! I couldn't eat it either! :( Their seasonal vegetables were delicious!! It had green beans, baby bell pepper, zucchini, and yellow squash. If you're a Yelper, you get a free watermelon agua Fresca drink! Overall, a nice healthier option for lunch or dinner. The employees were very helpful and cordial. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tables were clean. You can eat inside or outside. Clean bathrooms. Nice decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Lunch with coworkers on Tuesday afternoon a little after 12ish. You walk up to the counter and order your meal and they give you a number to place on your table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]8-9 tables inside but plenty of seating outside on their patio. They have large picnic tables for large groups and 5-6.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Liberty StaStation is right by the runway for the airport so the planes taking off pass by every 3-4 minutes which can be annoying if your not use to them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Grabbed our utensils, salt and pepper shaker (both in one shaker/grinder), napkins, and tapatio and headed outside. Food came out quickly and the portions are large. Could have easily eaten half and taken the rest for dinner. Steak was cooked to order and very tender, seasoned well. Everyone was very pleased with their meal. Will definitely have lunch here again after shopping in Liberty Station.

grilled salmon plate, seasonal vegetables, roasted potatoes
    Melissa B.

Solid choice if you're looking for a healthy meal! I got a plate with salmon, seasonal veggies, and roasted potatoes and it was light, fresh, and tasty. I loved the salmon, although a little heavy on oil, and the other sides were straight forward. I got some hot sauce on the side because it needs a little something. Would definitely come back!

    Tuna nicoise
    Michele T.

Stopped by seeking a light lunch. Ordered the nicoise ($17.45) and it was brought to me in about 15 mins. Nice presentation but way too much dressing. Definetly needed a knife to eat this salad as the greens were not cut and/or not cut to bite size and the tuna was a bit stringy. The potatoes were also underdone. Disappointing.

One thing they can work on: We knew from a previous visit that they have an extensive wine list on an iPad. We asked our server for the wine list and she said it was on the menu. C-Level Lounge is one of those San Diego spots where the view alone makes you want to stay awhile,…read morebut thankfully the food gives you plenty of reasons to do exactly that. We grabbed a table overlooking the water, and the whole setting just works--open-air, breezy, relaxed, and upscale without feeling stuffy. Add a cocktail and that waterfront backdrop and you're already off to a good start. We definitely sampled our way around the menu. The crispy sweet potato fries were a favorite--hot, crisp, and perfectly snackable. We also had a loaded basket of fries with crispy bites and dipping sauces that disappeared pretty quickly. The Asian-inspired chicken salad was fresh, colorful, and packed with texture: grilled chicken, greens, crunchy wontons, herbs, and a sweet-savory dressing that pulled everything together. Then there was that sandwich. Thick, toasted bread, a seriously generous filling, bacon, greens, and a creamy sauce on the side. This is not a dainty lunch situation. Come hungry! We also tried a beautifully presented seafood dish with crispy taro chips and plantains. Great presentation and a nice change of pace from the heavier plates. Cocktails were refreshing and exactly what you want while sitting by the bay. What really sells C-Level, though, is the full experience. You're enjoying good food and drinks with boats passing in the distance and some of the best waterfront scenery in San Diego. It's equally good for taking out-of-town guests, a leisurely lunch, date day, or simply pretending you're on vacation for a couple of hours. Pro tip: Get a waterfront table if you can. That's where C-Level really shines.

Instead of simply assigning us a table, she went above and beyond by letting us choose the one we liked. Her attitude was warm, welcoming, and set the tone for what we hoped would be a great brunch. Unfortunately, our server, Conner, wasn't as welcoming. We upgraded to the bottomless mimosas, but every refill required us to flag her down. My brother and I each had around four mimosas, and not a single refill was offered proactively. It honestly felt like every pour was being rationed, as if the bottles were coming out of her own pocket instead of being part of the service we had already paid for. The most disappointing moment came when I flagged her down for one final refill. She told me, "I'm sorry, bottomless mimosas end at 3:00." I looked at the time...it was 3:02 p.m. After spending the entire meal chasing our server for refills, being denied over a two minute difference felt incredibly petty and left a bad impression. Because of the level of service, I chose not to tip waitress Conner. Instead, I gave my tip to the hostess and Mrs. Danielle because that's who genuinely elevated our experience. What surprised me most was Conner's reaction after noticing this, rather than handling it professionally, she visibly became upset, creating an awkward ending to what should have been a relaxing brunch. Literal tantrum. In public. Mrs. Danielle immediately stepped in, apologized, and handled the situation with professionalism and grace. She completely salvaged the experience, and she's the reason we'll be willing to come back. The view was BEAUTIFUL. I hope management recognizes how valuable employees like the hostess & Mrs. Danielle are. At the same time, I hope Conner receives coaching on attentive service and professionalism, because the contrast between the two was impossible to miss. As someone is the service department, those two minutes were negligible.

Prado offers an open seating model with plenty of seating options to include everyone's preferences. They were lit by a mix of artificial and natural light. The music was just loud enough to enjoy, but soft enough to hold a conversation over. At Prado you can order via a QR code or your server. Our server was friendly and checked on us often. To drink I had the Jolly Roger and my husband had the Shipwrecked. Both drinks were visually stunning. The Shipwrecked was decent but the Maker's Mark overpowered the other ingredients. The Jolly Roger was well balanced and refreshing. It brought the tropical island to you with every sip. To eat, I had the bacon cheeseburger without onions and my husband had the steak sandwich. The bacon cheeseburger without onions was perfectly cooked to order (medium rare). I could tell the patty was made to order and was hand formed. The burger was well seasoned and juicy. I will say it was a bit greasy for my liking but the burger was so good it did not deter me one bit. The steak sandwich was cooked well and the balance of meat to veggies was spot on. We were slightly disappointed in the lack of seasoning of the steak. The fries that came with the meals were delicious! They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and beautifully seasoned. The first time I just stopped for a quick pre-flight beer. They have solid choices and I was pleasantly surprised that their hazy was delicious. I believe it was a Sierra Nevada beer. Service was great and kind my first visit. The second time I came here I definitely needed a bite to eat after a packed morning and had a hard time choosing what I wanted, but I went with the Tortilla Soup. I gotta say I definitely chose wrong. The flavor was decent, but the soup was incredibly watery and for some reason I expected there to be chicken but it was literally just broth. Thankfully I paid extra for avocado for some added calories, but paying like $15+ for a bowl of just broth is crazy work. Again, it wasn't awful in taste, but the quality of the dish in general could've been much better. Drink choices were still on point and I sat in the same spot as my previous visit which was comfortable and had an outlet for me to charge my phone. For that soup, 5 stars is kind of high. But the saving grace was the bartender/waiter I had the second time. We had great conversation and he was incredibly nice - I think his name was Peter! Halfway through my beer he slid me a notebook and I asked what it was and he told me "whenever I get a cool vibe from someone I offer up this guest notebook for them to share whatever they wanna share." I read through past entries of people sharing where they were coming from, where they were going. Funny entries, sweet entries, you name it. I felt seriously so honored to be "picked" to share something in this fun little journal that connects a lot of strangers. It just goes to show small acts of kindness like that go a long way. Peter deserves a raise, and Prado will always be my stop because of him (and next time I won't get the soup tbh).

Is it cliche to say San Diego staple? Slaters 50/50 is unique while still being a chain. So good…read more The 50/50 smash is amazing. The lunch special is a good deal: burger, fries and a drink for $14. Didn't go on a Sunday BUT they have tons of tv's for your NFL team. They are technically a Detroit lions bar, so if you've got grit, this is your place. Family friendly and convenient location in liberty station which used to be the old Navy boot camp back in the day. Maria is attentive and funny. She's the best. Would recommend for anyone visiting.

This place is stacked with TVs so perfect for football games too. We came on a Saturday and it was a tad busy so should there be games definitely come early. We shared their 50/50 burger. Fries were great and the burger was solid. They have numerous beers on tap. I like ciders and they had some of those too. The real winner looks like their brunch. 1 dollar mimosas with a purchase of an entree. Special shout out to Ryan who was doing double duty by both bartending and serving. He was super attentive to each table and wanted to ensure everyone was having a good time. It's right by a parking lot which is helpful. All in all a solid restaurant/bar to watch the game. Their patio is also dog friendly.

Some customers are always concerned about value vs. price, and, in this instance, the small Summer Breeze salad I had was "actually huge" and, their Top End Salad!! So for a high-end incredible salad under 17$ it is well worth it. I advise everyone in Ocean Beach to come here and enjoy their incredible salads! Try the Summer Breeze, as you will enjoy this tasty fulfilling salad and get healthier simultaneously! Robert Allen

This is a review for the Ocean Beach location…read more Let's start with the positives first : the salad was pretty good. Now - let's get to the negatives - of which there are many. You would think one could get the salad served in a regular bowl if eating there - nope, they only have the "to go" plastic containers, even though their website shows salads served in an ACTUAL BOWL. So, great, I get to waste plastic, between the "to go" bowl, plastic fork, plastic cup for water, and plastic small cup for dressing. Second, they don't have ice?! WTF? We would like to have our Diet Coke with a cup of ice but they just....don't have any ice. Ok..... Next, let's talk about price. $16 for a salad isn't cheap, but then another $6 just to add some cubes of chicken? Really? For $22 I could go to an actual restaurant and not eat at one of these "fast casual" places. Over and over again we the public are told to "eat and spend local", but this is exactly why these places are going under. For $22 I get attitude from the 19 year old working the register, get to drink out of a can, get tons of plastic to dispose of, and get to sit in a bland, white cinder block eating area which has a beautiful view of the CVS parking lot. Learned my lesson - next time I'll go to an actual sit-down restaurant that charges the same price and is a much better experience.
