I have been on a chick fil a kick lately which is very odd for me but I really enjoy their breakfast. They have breakfast until 10:30 so I try and get over there in the morning to make sure I can grab it. I really enjoy their hash brown scramble bowl and I get it was spicy chicken. It comes with a jalapeño salsa that really isn't spicy so I add the Texas Pete hot sauce as well to give it a kick. Overall super good! read more

This was one of the worst fast-food experiences I've had. The food we received looked nothing like what was advertised on the counter. The Ranch Jalapeño Club was very disappointing--the bacon looked like one small strip cut in half to make it appear like two pieces, and there was no jalapeño ranch sauce at all. The fries were cold, the mac and cheese was clumpy instead of creamy, and the whole meal felt rushed, incomplete, and not worth the money. It honestly felt like we were served whatever was left instead of the meal that was promised. I also saw her pick up money from the ground and continue handling food without washing her hands first, which raised concerns about food safety and hygiene. This is my favorite Chick-fil-A location. Close to home, good service, and hot and fresh food! I've enjoyed both through the drive-through and at the restaurant. I've never had any issues with either. Inside is kept clean and there are lots of available seating. Obviously during peak times the wait might be longer, especially for a takeout order. You can simply order ahead using the app for those instances. My favorite item is the Spicy Deluxe Sandwich. You gotta have it with the waffle fries and Chick-fil-A sauce. I like saving extra sauce packets for any later dipping needs. It goes well with pretty much everything. I'll sometimes get a sweet iced tea too if I'm going all out. The food (and service) is always consistently good. You can't say that about some other fast food chains / locations. My wife and I came here a lot when we first started dating, so that might have some bearing on my review. But in any case, this Chick-fil-A hasn't let us down yet! read more

It has been a really long since I visited a Chick-fil-A. I remember being hooked on their spicy chicken sandwich, waffle fries, and lemonade when they first opened. I think I might have gone at least once a week back in the days. The quality has since declined drastically! For lunch today, my dad and I ordered some food to go and we were both gravely disappointed. We ordered the following: Spicy chicken sandwich $7.09 5-pc nuggets X2 $7.99 each Medium mac n cheese $5.99 Large waffle fries $3.99 The food was expensive and the portions were small. I was most shocked that the 5 mini pieces of chicken nuggets cost $7.99!!!!! They were good, but not worth the heavy price tag! The Mac n cheese was really dense and too rich. We did not like it at all. Most disappointing were the soggy waffle fries. There was no crispness to these fries, so sad! The spicy chicken sandwich was really small in size. Chil-fil-A has been my go-to spot when I need something quick and filing. Their food taste so fresh and is super high quality for a fast food joint. Not to mention their service is amazing every time I go there. Usually I go through the drive-thru but I recently went inside to eat. This restaurant always has kind workers and they are accommodating to whatever you may need for your meal. It's a nice location because they do have a kids play area which seems to be rarer nowadays. The inside has a lot of seating and there are usually people on their lunch break enjoying a meal. Whenever I am in Mira Mesa, I frequent this location to get my Chick Fil A fix. Worst franchise ever! Doesn't care about waste! So I pull up to drive thru window to pick up my order I asked for kids nuggets and fries. I open the bag and they gave me nuggets and mac and cheese so I proceed to tell the lady at the window that my order is incorrect she takes the whole bag and sets it to what I think is the side. I've been coming to this Chick Fil A for over ten years now, (see my first review of this location) and have ordered thousands of dollars worth of food at this location in those years. I've had food missing from packages and questionable customer service multiple times now, however I've always ignored it as I understand none of us are perfect and we make mistakes. However, today I encountered an employee that was extremely rude, and judging by past reviews I've read on yelp, other customers have also encountered the same. My experience was simple but significant enough for me to update my 5 star review to 2 stars. Food is good, always has been. However just because food is good at an establishment does not make it a five star experience. Customer service is a large part of it too in my opinion. Everyone here is friendly for the most part. However, the 1 or 2 rude employees ruin it for everyone else. I ordered a simple meal on the app and selected pickup at the drive-thru. When I got to the drive-thru I told them I am here for an app/online order for drive-thru pick up (like I've done hundreds of times prior). The person responding asked for a name and I told her the name, multiple times. She rudely stated that she could not find the name and that I shouldn't be going to the drive thru to pick up app/online orders. I did not respond for a few seconds as I've been doing this for years now and never ONCE had an issue or someone tell me that I had to go into the store. ESPECIALLY when the app LITERALLY has the option for MOBILE ORDER PICK UP IN THE DRIVE THRU. I told her again the name and now, 10 seconds after she told me she could not find the name, has magically found the name and went silent. I then pulled up to the drive through and received my order. One would think this would be the end of it, but nope. I got home and opened my order, only to find out multiple missing items. Accountability is the word that comes to mind here in regards to that rude employee. Had I not been in a rush, I would have been glad to inquire on why I was expected to go into the store when I placed a drive through order on the online application and why was an employee of chick-fil-a engaging in such unprofessional and rude behavior towards myself (and assumingly others). I order lunch from them all the time. App is super user friendly so makes ordering lunch here fast and easy! Sometimes the delivery runs late but far and few. I just try to remember to order early. I usually get the chicken nuggets or chicken sandwich. Always an order of the waffle fries and a sweet tea. I can't eat the meal without the Chik sauce so if they EVER forget that in my meal it would drop down to zero...okay 1 star! Their sauce is what makes this place stand out. Came here on Wednesday night to check out the Halloween event they had and to support chikfila. It was nice of them to throw Halloween event for kids! But I was really annoyed at one of the cashiers. This location lacks the skills of what makes a chick-fill-a a chick-fill-a. For starters, they're slow. Inside or outside it is the same thing. They do not offer curbside even though they have the numbers to park (makes no sense) so you have to go in. Last time I was in they had my order sitting on the counter for a good 15 min. Three different people asked what my order was. They said they were just waiting on the drink. Everybody, including manager, was just chatting with each other while people gathered for their order clearly frustrated. Finally, I receive my order and two lemonades: one that has been sitting right next to my order and a freshly poured one. Their lack of communication is insane. This place makes the defunct Souplantation at dinner look like an English Tea. This warzone was recorded on a Wednesday night. The cringe and ick is just. Horrific. This dining room is not sanitary. There's also something wrong with the rear door where it sounds like slamming right next to your head every time the door is opened. Which is every 5 minutes. I'll start by saying the quality of the food is great. But the quality of service has noticeably been declining. I've had issues with my drive thru order 3 times in a row. Ordered a deluxe but they gave me a regular sandwhich. Forgot the sauces the last two times even when asking to confirm at the window and at time of ordering. I'm starting to think there's something wrong with their POS or the tablet that sends the orders to their system. I don't go here often but we saw the advertisement of the peach drinks on the website and the signs at the drive thru. I was telling my son how the company is known for their customer service "my pleasure" etc. well this was my worst experience. As soon as I placed my order for the peach drinks the person taking my order was quick to cut me off and tell me they don't have them anymore. Very short with me and that just made my blood boil. What happened to customer service?? I told the person who handed my fries cause what we wanted "was no longer available" and I suggested to her if it's no longer available then maybe remove the advertisement in the drive thru. She proceeds to tell me how it was really good. Well I'm glad they got to try it but what good does that do to us? I've always been a fan of chick fil a, but this specific location made it so that I'll never feel comfortable in any chick fil a restaurant ever again. I'm a DoorDash driver, I arrive on time to pick up my order, showed the name, not ready yet, totally fine. After over ten minutes of waiting, briefly using the restroom, and clearly seeing other people's orders being handed to them (theirs were hot and fresh, mine was sitting on the countertop getting colder by the minute). I was standing front and center near the pickup shelf the entire time, along with a few other people waiting for their orders as well. As I said before, basically everyone around me got theirs before I did. One of the male Hispanic employees thought it was more urgent to clean and wipe down the soda machine (no spills or anything before he started wiping it down) rather than hand out the already made orders behind the counter. I even overheard one of the female managers basically tell him to get his priorities straight. After that, he started filling drink cups and doing other less irrelevant tasks. Only took him about five whole minutes. The cherry on top is that I was the only black person out of all customers in the entire store. What other reason would this numbnut ask everyone around me for their pickup order name, check for it, hand it out, for every person besides me. Once I finally had the chance to show him my order name again, it was rudely handed to me without a "thank you" or anything. Wouldn't think much of it if he hadn't said "thank you" to every other customer. I've been a believer my entire life, and seeing one of the most prominent and beloved Christian establishments in the world become such a safe haven for rude, racist, and incompetent employees really helps me understand why so many people in this country turn away from the faith. They open at 8a right now. There are two drive thru lanes with seperate ordering intercoms. Ordering was a bit slower than other locations but still not bad. It's a bit hard to hear the order as I'm assuming staff is wearing masks (so totally understandable). Location is in the same strip mall as Red Lobster and Vons. Cashier was nice . Paying was quick and easy. We ordered 3 items (2 breakfast sandwiches) and requested a few sauces to try out. I didn't try the items until maybe an hour later as we ran errands. The biscuit/sausage/egg/cheese wasn't too bad. The biscuit was a bit doughy but nicely flakey on the outside. I was surprised that I liked the sausage - tasted better than McDonald's breakfast sausage patty in their sandwich. Family hasn't tried the biscuit chicken yet but photo of it looks pretty good. Food was good and their Cobb Salad was very good. We also got Original Chick-fil-A Sandwich and Spicy Chick-fil-A Deluxe without cheese Sandwich Combo. Everything tasted classic Chick-fil-A good. The restaurant was filled, as usual. Nice touch with the fresh flowers on the tables. A little disappointed with the condiment stations not having napkins and over flowing with trash. Also, a trash receptacle (see photo) is out of service. They did fill the napkins up after our meal. One of the reasons that we chose this place is because they used to honor law enforcement, first responders, and military active duty with a discount. This had to have been one of the most pleasant dining experiences I have ever had at a Chick Fil A. Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by the nice gentleman at the front who was wearing a cow print mask. I wish I had gotten his name. His demeanor immediately made us feel at home. The food came out within a few minutes and was delivered by one of the managers - who was also SO GENUINE! The food itself was so tasty and we each got a milkshake which was quite honestly one of the best milkshakes I have ever had. I made an online order using the mobile app; they immediately sent an order confirmation and withdrew the money out of my account. I took a screenshot so I could remember what time to expect my food. These mf canceled my order and didn't say anything. Charge is still on my account and I'm sitting here starving waiting for a meal that isn't coming. I try calling the costumer service line like hey ? My food never showed up and she responds "well yeah your order was canceled", at what point was I, the customer, going to be informed that my meal was not coming. I spent my entire lunch hour awaiting a meal and couldn't even get a hold of the Mira Mesa locations' phone number so I can understand what went wrong to why I'm empty handed. I have now wasted my entire lunch and have no time to acquire a replacement meal. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service and treatment of a loyal Chick-Fil-A One red member. I don't see myself eating Chick-fil-A again any time soon. And I don't feel comfortable leaving my card information on the corporations app, in fear that I will once more be taken advantage of.
