This location is good. The woman at the drive-thru window was very cheerful and welcoming. I received my usual bacon breakfast platter and caramel iced coffee faster than at any other location. The french toast sticks were overcooked and pretty hard though, but everything else was perfect. I do wish they gave more french toast in the platter, but that's a corporate decision. read more

This place would be getting 5 stars if they would bring back the staff member (cashier, order taker, whatever he did) who consistently sounded both stoned and exactly like Kel from Good Burger. The guy would open up with near identical cadence, accent, and speech flow to Kel, with something like "Welcome to Jack in the Box, heh, can I like, get your order? We got some fries, some chicken sandwiches, just lemme know what you want, it's alllll good". I would literally go here during the night JUST to have him take my order. Now? It's just not the same. Every day they allow large groups of people to loiter at the entrance. It makes me not want to pass through, and I basically stopped going. I only do drive thru occasionally now. There have been fights outside this door and people have gotten there purse stolen multiple times from inside the restaurant. The fries definitely tasted a bit old and soggy, but I'm eating at Jack, not MickeyDees; there is t an expectation of fry perfection. Those egg rolls on the other hand. Freaking. Perfect. Suuuuuper crispy, hot, yum. They aren't as greasy as I remember them being as a teenager, but boy oh boy they're still bangin. Egg rolls with some sweet and sour? Yes please. The wait time was a little bit with 4 cars ahead of us, but I get it, post pandemic, I ain't going to fault them for likely not having adequate staffing. Jacques is a very good employee. He's friendly and welcoming. This place has a bunch of transients waiting arounds cause it's right off the freeway and at a busy intersection but it is well maintained. The dining area is clean and so is the restroom. Parking is limited and the drive thru is difficult to get to but it's manageable. The prices are cheaper here compared to North County locations which I like. Their food is prepared perfectly. I haven't had a bad taco which is rare since other spots are consistently inconsistent. No cracked taco shells or stale, which is always a plus. The jumbo jacks are neatly put together to when you unwrap to eat it, the condiments don't get all over your fingers. You can tell when the staff takes their time to assemble it. I appreciate the extra time spent. Keeps my fingers and clothes clean. If you don't want to be entertained by the clientele that lounge inside, then opt for to go or drive thru. Had issues in the past with a manager here regarding an order and it really put me off as she was not helpful and was actually pretty rude when our order was messed up. BUT! Last night we happened to be driving by and I thought to myself that I should get some tacos. And jalapeño poppers. So into the drive-thru we go. I was in for a surprise. The dude working the drive-thru was HILARIOUS. I thought we were being punked on some show! But he was funny as hell, albeit professional at the same time and he got our order right! During the current pandemic, I've been using Jack in the box drive through a lot. Very convenient, the food is always fresh, I do miss the dining room experience and the free beverage refills. I usually never have a problem when I'm getting food here but today was the day. I came around lunchtime (12pm) and the drive through line was quite long but was going quick. I ordered some tacos along with a jr bacon cheeseburger on sourdough bread that I have been craving for some time now.
