My wife and I stopped by this Chick Fil A location during our trip to Fremont. We were hungry since we drove from Los Angeles and this location was on our way. We found parking easily a little before lunch time. There no indoor dining here so it's all outside dining and you order from their ordering window. I got my wife the spicy chicken deluxe with cheese and I got the grilled chicken meal. They give you a number and then you'll have to listen to one of the employees announcing your order number. It didn't take them long to make our food and we ate it outside. We loved our food, the spicy chicken deluxe is my wife favorite and I usually order the grilled chicken. The fries was also delicious and you can never go wrong with a soda here. The customer service here was great and they also give us a free sample of one of their jalapenos sandwich and frozen lemonade while we were eating here. read more

I witnessed troubling behavior from a Genie Pool employee while waiting in the Chick-fil-A drive-thru in San Jose. Despite the staff working efficiently and professionally, this individual kept honking impatiently, clearly frustrated that things weren't moving fast enough. One of the employees--who I later learned was working on her birthday--was visibly shaken by the honking. She was trembling while trying to do her job, and it was hard to watch. That kind of aggressive behavior doesn't just reflect poorly on the person--it reflects on the company they represent. If this is how Genie Pool employees conduct themselves in public, I wouldn't feel comfortable hiring them for any service. Professionalism and basic human decency matter. The good: We went through the drive-thru and got the peach milkshake, breakfast burrito with chicken, and spicy biscuit sandwich. The peach milkshake was a really fun summer menu item and it had real peach chunks inside. We got the hash-brown coins too and they were great for kids. The drive-through line went by quickly. The worker there gave my toddler a free cow plush! The bad: The burrito was pretty mushy. I thought the breakfast burritos at McDonald's were better. I'd give it a zero if I could. I'm normally a big fan but this visit was a huge disappointment. The chicken patties were dark brown and greasy and tasted like the oil was old and burnt. I cannot see how the Chick-Fil-A company can allow this to happen. Whoever manages this location and allows this junk to be served to customers should be let go. I went through the drive-through, but it was kind of an odd experience. I expected the person who was taking an order from the car next to me to step over to me when he was done taking that order. Instead, he acknowledged me and walked three cars ahead of me. As he took that order, I noticed there was another staffer taking orders in the other lane. That line just kept going and I saw five cars passed me by before my order got taken. Once I got my food, the chicken sandwiches were awesome. Very fresh buns and the chicken was hot, juicy and tender. Unfortunately, after I finish eating those, I took a sip of my large Coke and found that it tasted like water, bubbly water. I put on the light (as I'm driving home in the dark) and saw there was very little caramel color in that water. So, I dug up the receipt, and called the restaurant. A young man answered the phone. I explained the condition of my soda, he replied "we just changed the syrup. You probably just came through at the wrong time. As I was hanging up, I heard him say "You can come back..." It's late, I'm on the freeway with 2 hour drive home and I'm not going to turn around to go get a proper soda. I understand that these things can happen. Chick-fil-A is a popular restaurant and they move fast to get the orders out quick. And these guys are very consistent and have a great reputation. I've probably had a hundred meals there over the years and never had a bad meal. Hi, I wanted to share some feedback about my visit today. A team member wearing a black jacket helped me. She looked like a manager. I ordered an iced coffee with no syrup, just the coffee base, and two Splendas. I also asked for an extra sausage patty on the side. When I picked up my food, she said the cooks put the patty inside the breakfast bowl by accident. The bigger issue was the iced coffee. It tasted very sweet, so I walked back inside. She told me it had a milkshake base, even though I had asked for the coffee base and had confirmed it with her earlier. She also forgot the Splendas. Her attitude felt a little dismissive when I brought it up. This is the Chick fil A in my neighborhood and I enjoy coming here. I just wanted to share my experience so it can be addressed. This location is notorious for being slow and unsanitary with no seatings. Told me 5 minutes takes near 30. Bunch of mobile orders sitting in front of the window, a line of people waiting for their order pick up and nobody tends to them. Stay away especially if you're in a rush. This time it was Chick-fil-A. I honestly rarely get food from this chain, but a chicken sandwich sounded good, so I thought why not?! Ended up getting the Chick-fil-A® Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich with Chick-fil-A® Sauce and Garden Herb Ranch Sauce. I adore a good chicken sandwich. But I guess I just don't get the hype. Chick-fil-A seems comparable to other sandwiches I've had. I don't see how this is better than other sandwiches I've had at other fast food establishments. But, I will say, I adore their unlimited sauce policy. I am a HUGE fan of dipping sauces, so this makes me happy. Since the bro in law was picking up tho, i limited my sauce requests. I had a super standard and smooth drive through experience. This was actually one of the least stressful and congested CFA drive through experiences I've ever had. The employee who took my order was extremely sweet, thorough, and patient making sure that everything was correct. Once I drove up to the front of the line, I waited 5 minutes max. Every time, I have to flag down the employee running over to the curbside parking spot pickups and tell them "I also got a lemonade". Everything is ordered thru their order window, double drive-thru, or mobile order pick-up window. This place was obviously busy when I went today for the grand opening! I placed my mobile order ahead of time. I checked in on the app when I arrived, the order still took about 15-20 mins. This place is still figuring things out so I'd double-check your orders. Overall the service was okay I guess, there were many employees standing around. The food was delicious, top-notch Chick-fil-A. They even asked to see in my bag because they thought I was lying that they forgot my child's french fries. What a joke.
