I was a member of their team, made fun of each day, workers would rather joke and make horrendous jokes at people than assist in making food faster to cater to customers. The male manager uses sexually aggressive gestures at women workers and is okay with them because they accept their position within the company. They tell every worker they can advance and have their own franchise all the while they are horrible team members and do nothing to actually GROW and treat some people with disabilities uncaring and unprofessional. read more

Pretty disappointed with my service from today. I did not get 4 of the things I ordered. I asked the window person who handed me my food if everything was in my bag with my sauces too and she said yes and nodded for me to continue driving off. I didn't even get the sauces I ordered when I was very specific with the two types I wanted. I had ordered a fruit cup for my daughter and even that was not in my bag. I never want to hold up the line and have to go through each thing to help lines go quicker but my biggest thing was that my daughter didn't get to have her fruit cup. Pretty upsetting. read more

When I was doing my undergrad at UCLA I had a ritual of going to Chickfila every Tuesday. Having moved back to the Bay Area I was saddened that my favorite chicken sandwich spot was no longer a quick walk around the corner. Luckily we do have a single chickfila in San Jose and this chain is consistent in the quality of their food! ALWAYS order the deluxe spicy chicken sandwich and it always hits the spot! At $8 for a complete meal of medium waffle fries, a spicy sandwich and my fruit punch it's a deal to me! -1 star for the lacking customer service. I ordered 3 Chick-fil-A deluxe sandwiches but they gave me 3 spicy ones instead. I have a condition where I can't tolerate spicy food which made it very difficult to eat/enjoy any of the food. This particular location seems to have a staffing/resource allocation issue. The lines are consistently long, and the service has become painfully slow. This morning, and the last two times that we did curbside pickup, we waited over twenty minutes for our orders. The app even asked us three times if we had gotten our orders yet. We saw staff come out to look for other curbside order customers, but they only spent a few seconds looking around outside, before going back inside. The food has always been hot and delicious, and the staff has always been pleasant - the management just needs to schedule more staff as they are clearly busier than their current staffing level can handle in a reasonable amount of time for "fast" food. read more

After a long day my boy friend and I came to the drive through to get some food. We had ordered some chick fil a nuggests and once we got to the window to pay we asked the cashier if she can add another 6 order, she then had an attitude, didn't say anything turned around and got us the food she seems really angry. We said thank you and didn't even say my pleasure which she is suppose to. After driving off and opened the box and started eating i can taste the nuggets were pretty hard, they tasted awful i then see they aren't cooked right. The wife's crispy chicken sandwich was $3.55 and my grilled chicken sandwich was $5.09. However, my sandwich was supposed to come with multiple slices of tomato, and instead I got what looked like a club sandwich (with cheese and bacon) but no tomato. The real reason we came in was for the waffle fries. A small runs for $1.69, but you might as well pony up 40 cents more and get a large. Modern decor, a clean restaurant, free WiFi and friendly employees bring this location up to the bar we expect from a Chick-fil-A. However, no table service was provided other than the waitress bringing our food over, a departure from the amazing service I've gotten at the other San Jose location. read more

This will be the last time I ever go to this location. I've called the manager of this location numerous times to let him know that his employees were not handling the food safely. I witnessed numerous times at the drive thru how the workers were "goofing off" and having too much of a good time which led to this: my ice cream began to pour over and the girl dumped that ice cream back into the machine after touching it with her hands. When I was looking for a place to eat around the area, I decided to get Chick-fil-A and expected a 3 or 4 star rating based from my previous experience. In disbelief, everything about this place blew my mind away. I had no problem finding a parking space so you don't have to worry about that since the parking lot was gigantic. ATMOSPHERE: It was very well-maintained and clean. The booths were comfortable and it even had a nice decoration. There was an empty coke bottle with flowers and it was nice to see some form of decoration on the table. FOOD: I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and it came with a drink and waffle fries. I always loved their waffle fries! I also got some honey mustard with my order and put it on my sandwich and I highly recommend it! When you go get condiments, they have the ketchup where you can just easily open and squeeze it (if you don't know what I mean, come here and check it out). CUSTOMER SERVICE: This was the element that pulled in an extra star or two for me. I walked in the restaurant was greeted by a friendly employee. I took about a minute to look at the menu to find out what I wanted to get and went back in line. Fortunately, there was no line. I went up and ordered my food and my food came even before I finished swiping my card! Fastest service I've ever had! I went here in March of 2020 before Covid on whim with co worker that just moved here from Virginia and she wanted to surprise her husband with dinner, we both live in the Monterey Peninsula area so no chick fil a. Since we would be in heavy traffic on the way home we decided to detour here and do a mobile order so that way we get our food and go. She ordered sweet tea, the chicken sandwiches, fries and nuggets for my hubby and I. As we entered there we stood under the sign for mobile order/ curbside order and door dash. We patiently waited as we noticed that it was very busy. Soon there are three other people that line up behind us, all with mobile orders or door dash. One of the employees goes to a guy that just arrived in the back and asks him" what's your order ? " very discreetly, he shows her his phone order. She then prepares it for him and he walks away. While we are still waiting for someone to ask us for order and name. I don't know if it's because they know each other or another reason but that was not right since we were all in line. Then the lady behind us goes to a guy and shows her phone and order, the employee actually saw us come in and acknowledged us with a smile and told us to wait a moment. He then said our order was actually ready and on the counter, if someone would have just ask us our order we would have been in and out instead of waiting. My advice about this store location is be aggressive don't be polite and wait. That is the reason for taking out one star because the food according to my husband even if it was an hour so later was so delicious. This was my husbands' first time eating food a chick fila sandwich. I did keep it in the oven so it would stay warm when he got home. The sandwich was lightly breaded and not to thick. I know they are trying hard to accommodate everyone being that indoor dining is not an option. But if we order something I don't think it's to hard to get the order right. If we order Mac and cheese I Would think a fork should be a no brainer!!! The salad should come with dressing and a protein burger doesn't come with a bun!! I don't know why I never tried it sooner. I tried it last summer and it never hit me how good it was. I had it cold because my boyfriend brought it home to me after he went out and ate some. I thought it was so good that I started going more and more often. I don't know what about it that makes me crave it, Maybe it's the sauce. Their chick-fil-a sauce is my favorite but the honey bbq is also good. They have a wide range of sauces and are pretty generous. I normally get a #2. The Chicken sandwich with cheese and lettuce. I also get it with their fries, which are waffle fries!!! So crispy, soft, and yummy! I also top it off with a lemonade. I know it;s expensive but I always get one here. It just completes this experience. The workers here are friendly. The store is usually clean. If you want a refill, just ask someone or go up to to the cashier counter and ask someone there. They will gladly refill you. I have always had a good experience here. The only downside is that they are closed on Sundays. Just make sure not to crave it then lol. read more

Since Yelp wasn't happy with my original review of the short but sweet "I love Chick Fil A," here is a more in-depth review of this particular location. Long ago, I was a student at Arizona State University. In between my studying and checking out of beautiful blonde women, I would mosey on down to the Chick Fil A that was conveniently located in the ASU student union. After I returned home from Arizona State, I longed for Chick Fil A. They were virtually non-existent in the Bay Area. I would tell my friends of the great folklore of Chick Fil A and only the lucky few that have experienced it were capable of understanding its full nature. However, if one wishes upon a star enough, their dreams will come true (Disney, some year in the 20th century, please don't sue me). First, a Chick Fil A was opened in North San Jose (which is a fine location in its own right) and I was able to share the love of the glorious Chick Fil A. Unfortunately, my friends and I all live in south San Jose and it was quite the drive to that location (even though we made the trek at least once a month). But then, a miracle occurred and a Chick Fil A was made within a 15 minute drive of my home. This location has ample parking and ideally located near major roads and a freeway. It is extremely clean and the service (inside) is always quicker than me gulping down a delicious Chick Fil A lemonade. The drive-thru, is a little slow, but I don't use it so I don't care. Things I have ordered: Spicy Chicken sandwich, Spicy Chicken deluxe, Grilled Chicken sandwich, the Original Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken nuggets, one of their salads, Chicken Tortilla soup, Chicken Noodle soup, waffle fries, chocolate chip cookie, every flavor of milkshake, ice cream in a cone, spicy chicken breakfast biscuit, tater tots and of course, their amazing lemonade. Don't take the fact that I got lazy with the capitalization for anything. All of the above foods are spectacular, except for the salads. If anyone handed me any of those (especially with the excellent Chick Fil A sauce), I would hug them and move them up on my MySpace top friends, instantly. Chick Fil A is glorious. I always get the nuggets and the spicy chicken sandwhich at Chick-Fil-A. It never disappoints no matter which location from SoCal to Norcal. It's an unfair comparison to call the nuggets at Chick-Fil-A "small", because there is little breading on it (if you purchase the classic style). That healthy grilled style of course has none of course. But the amount of chicken you get per piece is still more than other fast food places which are way more unhealthy. They are filled with breading. Of course the menu items here cost more, but anyone with an average palette can tell the chicken here is superior if not the most superior in comparison to other fast food joints. As expected by any good franchise is familiarity. This location is no different. The staff is nice and ready for your every request. Restaurant is kept clean and ready to serve. The quality of the food is on par with the other locations. If I did have to make a gripe, it would be the fries. Although I do love those fries that are not super crispy and just that right amount of semi soft--unfortunately others may find it disappointing that on my several visits to this location, the fries have all been that way. For me I'm fine with it, but others have voiced to me that the fries should be cooked a little bit longer. I guess it comes down to personal preference, but you've been warned. I guess it may just be whoever is manning the fry cooker. So why minus 1 star? As good as Chick-Fil-A is, as previously mentioned, it is on the higher end of pricing when it comes to "Fast Food". Yes, the flavor is better, the food should not be as unhealthy with all their natural stuff they boast about, and service and restaurant cleanliness have high marks--but many won't see that and just consider it an expensive fast food joint. With this location being the 3rd as of this writing in the 408 area code, the "what you can't have you want more" feeling is starting to wear thin. It was never a problem spending whenever I went to a Chick-Fil-A because it was always a drive to get to one. Now that it's closer, although I'll continue to give my business, I'll have to resist more for my wallet's sake, and my waist line. YELP TIP - They won't give you any sauce if you don't ask for it, but they aren't shady like other fast food joints. They won't charge you extra for sauces, and they'll gladly abide by how many and which one you pick. read more

I remember when San Jose area only had two Chick Fil A's which were this one and one on the North Side. I went here for lunch when I worked near by and to the other one when I lived near it. I didn't really know much about them, but now that I have lived in two south eastern states I know these guys are really good. They have quick service, quality food, and a great staff. I was really excited and waited in line for 20 minutes for grilled chicken nuggets... So disappointed. Take a normal sized chicken nugget, not a chicken tender, and cut it into thirds... I just love Chick-fil-A & this location does not disappoint. I do not come here as often as I like, but when I do come, I am always satisfied. The food, of course, is delicious (Regular chicken sandwich + fries til I die), but the staff is also amazing. I prefer coming during non-peak days/hours i.e. not during the weekend, because it's more relaxed, the staff comes around and takes your food for you when you're done eating, and it's much cleaner. When it gets super busy, the staff is still nice and respectful, but the level of cleanliness & intimate service goes down a bit. That is understandable, though. Oh, and every time I have come here, the staff is never stingy/minimalist with the sauce! I truly appreciate that. :) read more

I finally got to try Chick-Fil-A. Its basically a fast food place that only sells Chicken sandwiches. For the fries, they offer Waffle fries. I love how all their sandwiches comes without a sauce. I ended up ordering a regular Chicken sandwich. At the counter, we were offered some sauces to try. I really love the BBQ sauce, and it went great on the chicken sandwich. The Chicken sandwich was pretty good. The chicken was juicy and it was a thick piece of chicken breast. I love how you can add Lettuce and Tomatoes to your order, too. The waffle fries tasted great. It was crispy on the outside. Overall, I had a good experience here. It was nice that all the food was delivered to their customers. I visited Chick-Fil-A about a week or two after they opened. Having never been to a Chick-Fil-A but hearing so many good things about them, I was excited, especially since they specialize in chicken, which is really mostly what I go for when I'm eating fast food. The Chick-fil-A chicken strips were pretty good. It was slightly crispy on the outside and the chicken itself was juicy with a lot of flavor. We also ordered the waffle fries, which were a little bland, but nothing a little ketch up couldn't fix. I think the most disappointing was the spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken itself was pretty good. It was the perfect level of spiciness with light crispy breading. However, the sandwich overall was disappointing. I understand that it's the chicken that's the important part, but I feel like the sandwich should have been more than what it was. Essentially, it was chicken between two buns with not much of anything else. There was barely any lettuce or sauce or anything. That was very disappointing. Overall, I would return again.
