I was charged twice for an order. They charged me at the line when the person took my order and as I got closer to get my food another worker said my payment didn't go through. I trusted them and paid again but I decided to check my bank and sure enough two $28 charges. I let them know when I got to the window but no one knew how to do a refund. I was told a manager would call me and they never called. I called a few days later and to this day I'm waiting for that call and refund. One of my absolute favorite places to grab a quick bite to eat was made even better (at least at this location). The restaurant itself was kept very neat and clean. There was plenty of staff to ensure that everyone was well taken care of and happy with their meals. Everyone was upbeat, friendly, and genuinely looked like they didn't hate their jobs. That's pretty impressive for a fast food joint. The food was delicious, as usual. You cannot go wrong eating at a Chick-fil-a. The only slight issue we had was trying to find the door to get into the place! Parked in the lot in the back, but you have to walk around the front side of the building to get in. No big deal, we just made ourselves look like lost tourists for a moment. Overall, excellent location and food and of o happen to be in the area again, I will most definitely stop here! read more

Went in to get some pre laundry day food thinking I would have a relatively quick in and out. Stood their for what felt like an abnormally long time for a fast food location. Well it turns out the lady at the front messed up my name even though it is a common name and I speak with clarity. While I was waiting this abnormal period of time some fool stepped on a ketchup causing it to spray a distance which I found surprising onto my brand new $100 under armor jacket. At this point I'm pissed and as I am having some assistance trying to get the stains of my jacket what looks like a manager is still looking for the fictional character Joseph. I speak with the manager and she describes Joseph's order which turns out to be my exact order. So I explain to her what just happened and how the cashier had mistook my name and of course the ketchup incident. The ladies response was to offer me some free gift cards which is even more insulting because how am I supposed to get a ketchup stain off my new jacket with gift cards. So I finally get to my car after declining her offer as I don't need any free food I just wanted an unstained jacket which seems to be a tall order at this location. Once I finally get to eat my sandwich the patty tasted like salt. Now I have had the same sandwich before and it never tasted like I was eating salt water. Definitely don't recommend going into that nut house if you need to get your fix use the drive in and ask for the low sodium version. read more

Went here for the first time going to a Chick fil A on 8/29/19. I was impressed by the cleanliness of all tables not in use and of the floors, windows and walls. This store pays attention to details. The people working there all greet you by looking you square in the eyes with a genuine warm smile. All of the staff presented themselves with CLEAN uniforms. The food was good. I truly appreciate a fruit cup that looked like it was cut and packaged this morning. Strawberry, blueberry, red, green apples, mandarin oranges and no filler fruit.(honeydew and red grapes). Chick-fil-A is full of delicious, juicy chicken sandwiches (and products) and the friendliest employees around. The Santa Rosa branch was no different. We came here en route to SF from Boonville, in a group of about 25 arriving right at 1pm lunch rush. The restaurant was already bustling before our big group came in. All tellers were on their A-game, not rushing any patrons, getting all orders right, and being super friendly and welcoming. They moved people through the lines and got them their food in no time at all -- very impressive. I ordered the Chicken Deluxe combo and loved both the sandwich and the waffle fries. So crisp and warm, and the dipping sauces (unlimited supply and such a variety) were the perfect addition. My favorite sauces were the Chick-fil-A sauce and the honey mustard. I also loved that they have a cell phone basket to promote social eating (without cell phones) and if you do it for your meal (honor system) they give everyone at the table free ice cream cones! The app was not working. I had tried to order through the app for my friends little one. I get to the drive-through and of course the app won't even pick up the Mendocino avenue restaurant. My friend had given me his phone to pay thru the app, so I wouldn't have to pay anything for picking up food for his kiddo. The wi-fi would not hook up, nothing was loading. One of the senior leadership members, Joanna was the one who was working the drive-thru. I was getting very frazzled and frustrated and she was absolutely the sweetest and helped me try and figure out the app and got it working. I am going to start with the confession that I do not usually eat fast food. But, for this place, I always make an exception! I LOVE this place! Not to age myself, but I remember the one at the downtown mall many years ago- so I was thrilled when we got this one! It is always very clean, friendly, and yummy. BEST CHICKEN EVER. What really wins me over are the sauces! I get consistent friendly, timely and accurate service every visit. I think they do a wonderful job training their staff- always smiling faces. This location isn't just part of a large corporation. They are VERY community oriented, constantly giving at events in the community and serving others. They proved this repeatedly after the wildfire and are still giving to this day. I also love that they show (by example) their staff the importance of giving in our community. Which makes supporting them even better. I think its funny that one review stated they need to add other items to their menu.............its CHICK-FIL-A! Chicken is their specialty and they do an awesome job at it. You don't go to In and Out Burger for tacos. lol. Also- if you have dietary issues you probably shouldn't be eating fast food regardless which one. When I pressed the employee about being out of food, she disclosed that they were actually just very busy and at risk of having to stay open later than 10PM. This is a good location that upholds the Chick Fil A standards. No surprises here, except for the parking lot is a cluster you know what. I've been here many times and high traffic hours it's a caution. You have the drive thru line needing to exit by making a left across itself. First off I made the first 100 and have checked in the times that I have eaten food! If you do you don't know what first 100 is please feel free to look it up on the Chick-fil-A website. But real quick recap, you are on their property for 24hrs and so I am able to honestly rate their items that were served to me! SOOOOOO.... * BREAKFAST : chicken biscuit- was absolutely delicious! I usually put honey and ketchup on it. It's warm and just the right size to fill you up. *LUNCH: 8 piece nuggets or strips- I personally picked the nuggets. I prefer them over the strips. The strips taste different but are also scrumptious. They gave lays chips as a side instead of waffle fries. I paired it up with chick-fil-a sauce, ketchup, and Texas Pete hot sauce all mixed together. ( don't knock it to you try it) *OREO COOKIE SHAKE- so I was runner up for the scavenger hunt so I picked an Oreo cookie shake and let's just say there's no way you can go wrong with that choice. Thick and full of flavor! *ICE CREAM CONE- won another game but was a team effort and ice cream is great! No complaints *DINNER- choice of the Asian chicken salad, the spicy chicken sandwich , or the chargrilled chicken sandwich and kids can get nuggets. Well I picked the Asian chicken salad with the honey sesame dressing. The chicken was the crispy chicken nuggets cut up! It was great I'm not a sesame dressing eater but its something I could get used to. It was my first time and would get it again. I am a huge avocado lime ranch dressing lover so I did finish out the rest of the salad with that. It came with sliced almonds that were sweet and crispy wontons! Yummy. Oranges were fresh and not mushy which can happen. Totally recommend it! *ICE CREAM Again... But this time with toppings! Oreo cookies, peanut m&m's, and whipped cream and so forth, no complaints Just say I over ate and hope I make it home alive tomorrow since I have to drive 8 hrs back from here to LA! I really recommend this location it's right by the college lots of FREE parking and has a super long drive thru which is the first I've seen. A lot of reviewers appear to be unhappy with their meals here. This is why I'm giving it 5 stars: 1. The service - it can't be beat. They will hand-deliver your meal to you after you order. They will refill your drinks as needed. I asked my friend if I needed to give a tip before I left because the service was incredible. If you need something, they will get it for you. 2. The sauces - I agree that maybe the spicy chicken sandwich and waffle fries I ordered weren't 5 star worthy as is, but with the Polynesian or Chick-fil-A sauces, they are. You MUST get the sauces if you come here. If you don't, you will miss out on the full Chick-fil-A experience. Those two are my recommended sauces, but they also have ranch, barbecue, and a few others. So get one of each and find your favorite. 3. The sweet tea - Just get it and thank me later. Chick-fil-A is finally back in Santa Rosa. After closing in 1995, the closest Chick-fil-A was in Fairfield. The service is amazing, for a fast food restaurant. The servers are very nice and listen to your requests. They constantly walk around the dining room asking to take away garbage and refill your drinks. The service at the counter is fast and they bring you the order by name. The food tastes quite good, the sandwiches have a huge slab of chicken in it, not ground up and re-constituted - it's a whole piece. The only thing I don't like are the foam cups, but apparently they've figured out how to recycle those. The drive-through queue is gigantic, which is nice. At other places, I've seen a two-lane drive-through, because, apparently, it gets busy. I imagine that once the JC gets back in session, this location will see quite a bit more foot traffic. Opening day was busy, but the restaurant manages to clear people out quick enough so that there are always seats. The dining room at this location is large. A Chick-fil-A at this location was better than looking at an abandoned/shut-down Burger King. I'll be back, for sure. Closed on Sunday! read more

Normally have a good experience at chick fila but this drive thru operation lately needs some work. If you're going to have two lanes then have them merge, you need someone directing that. The car behind me today cut off 4 cars and when I told an employee the just shrugged it off like it didn't matter. Also the car in front of me was on their phone not moving up and when I tried to inch up they flipped me off. Maybe if you actually had someone directing cars on where to go and when to move up other customers wouldn't be taken advantage of by being cut off or being flipped off by other customers. Best TENDER Chicken! This is the best chicken sandwich you will find. The chicken taste fresh, juicy, moist and that is what sells me! The SAUCES are a must with the Chick-fil-A sauce being my favorite for spread on the bun and dip for the waffle fries. They are a bit more pricey than all the other fast food joints but just weigh one of their sandwiches in your hand. They are heavy! They do not skimp on the size of the chicken and I rarely can finish it. I actually wish they offered a smaller size for a lessor price. I am not sure lumping this in with other fast food eateries is accurate because of the freshness of the chicken. They hand bread their chicken and I have never had a dry, overcooked chicken sandwich there. Extra plus is their fresh squeezed lemonade that taste like the real thing with no artificial taste other places have. The only thing good was shake and fries. I would suggest they add dark meat like thighs to have a product that doesn't taste like cardboard. The meat you serve is the worst I have ever eaten. I've been craving on some chicken biscuit and waffle fries since the last time I had Chick-Fil-A ... which was in Florida about a decade ago. Unfortunately, the experience here didn't live up to my memory. The chicken breast was shaped the same, but way more dry and flavorless. I had to slather it in mayo to get in down. The waffle fries, sadly, are not crisped at all. They're like crummy Oreida oven-baked in that they have a colder, mushy center that is unappealing. Dunno if it's the same cost-cutting that is striking other chains or if they're just afraid to fry stuff properly in some Paula Deen oil up here in Healthyfornia, but it was a big letdown. read more

I come through the drive through more often then I want to admit. This is a staple in my grad school diet. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, and very very good at making sure they have your order just right. The food is always hot. always fresh. and the iced coffee is good if not better than starbucks, pete's or darn near anywhere else. I like all of their food, but my favorite is the spicy chicken sandwhich with extra pickles and mustard, with fries and buffalo sauce for dipping. They nail the crust of the chicken every time. I have never had a soggy or sad sandwhich. The fries 99% of the time are hot and fresh, and I have at times had to wait (patiently) for them to drop a batch, because they have standards. I think they are a little more expensive than most of the fast food in the area, but - it's totally worth it. It's never ever hit or miss. Way to go! read more
