Coming from a Nor Cal county that does not have a Chick-fil-A, we were excited to stop on a trip south and experience what we've heard so much about. We went through the drive thru. We ate our french fries (amazing...fresh and hot) on the road and then stopped about 30 minutes later to eat our chicken sandwiches. We were so disappointed as one sandwich had nothing on it and the other only had one little pickle on it. We ate them, and they were delicious even dry. I decided to call them, thinking that a new employee forgot to add sauce and pickles. Much to my embarrassment I was told that they never put sauce on those sandwiches and they ask you what sauce you want, that you add later. So I said, "ok, then you guys did nothing wrong and we just didn't know how it worked." The employee was so kind and polite and we shared a good laugh. She then asked me my name and said that she would put my name in an envelope and the next time we passed through they would make our meal right so we could try it again. Needless to say we stopped by on our way home and let me tell you, those chicken sandwiches with the sauce and pickles were wonderful! I have 2 different occasions when this restaurant went above and beyond. 1.) they paid for my meal because I forgot my card. I love to stop by chick-fil-a after a trip to the Childrens museum...after ordering I reached for my card and it was not there. I had 2 kids, both under 4, hungry and tired asking me for food. I turned to the person taking my order with a look of despair I said " I know this is going to sound really bad but I forgot my card and don't have any means to pay right now, anyway I could come back to pay," now anyone would say, " ya right - she's not coming back." But instead the manager decided to pay for my meal and said "we got you." 2.) they paid for my meal because of my experience. After a grueling 12 hr shift at the hospital I went to chick-Fil-a for dinner before heading home. After entering the drive through line I was unfortunately cut off by a driver who had no obvious respect, reason or intelligence. He continued to slam on his brakes, scream out his window and verbally abuse the staff trying to take his order. Literally my emotions were sky high and I started to think " of something we're to happen im pretty much trapped in the damn drive through line" once I ordered I spoke with the staff member after seeing the he was not okay after helping the previous customer in front of me. He started to cry and so did I. I thanked him for working and told him about my day as we waited for the food. When I got to the window to pay, they had said " it's on us tonight" While having my meal paid for was a blessing during these times. For me it was the simplest act of this group of individuals working here noticing that kindness and respect towards others are what makes people keep coming back. read more

While I will admit that I already have a personal positive bias towards Chick-fil-A, it takes something special that rises above and beyond for me to pull out Yelp and write a review - good or bad for any given experience. The people at this location are a cut above the rest and somehow make you feel warm and welcome, even though at it's core this is a chicken sandwich franchise. The people at Santa Rosa Chik Fil A put in the time, energy, and sincerity necessary to create a truly first class experience that satisfies every level of measure a human possesses after a couple hundred thousand years of evolving on this giant blue spaceship we call earth. If you too are a human and on earth, making this Chik Fil a one or your regular eateries is one of the best things anyone can do for themselves. I do love the Sandwich with extra pickles. I have asked for the waffle fries extra crispy or as they say extra done. Well I asked again and as they handed me my order and pulled out the fries not done, much less extra done. I pointed this out to the young lady in the window and showed her the fries. I am visiting friends in Santa Rosa from Hawai'i and went through this Chick-fil-a's drive through. Hawai'i does not have Chick-fil-a. So I am always stoked when I get to come to the mainland and treat myself to a spicy chicken sandwich. Normally, I would never write a review for a chain restaurant. However, I was so impressed with Jalicia (I believe her last name was Cox?), one of the drive through attendants, that I had to comment. From the minute we pulled in she was happy and smiling. She was extremely friendly and welcoming without being tacky or overbearing. I commented to her that she was one of the friendliest people I had ever met. I wanted to write this review to let someone higher up know how impressed we were with her customer service. I am happy with the way the app works and the food is always good. I go to get food here often because I go to School Of Rock (right across from the location) three times a week. But today I was surprised how long they took to make my order. Like, seriously? Make me wait 20+ minutes for a soft drink? That made me angry and I missed the remaining 20 minutes of my music class. I am a Community Director of a 180 unit apartment community here in Santa Rosa. We do monthly resident appreciation events. January's event was a "Grab & Go" breakfast sandwich event this past Tuesday. MY favorite breakfast sandwich is your chicken biscuit so I thought I'd share a favorite of mine with my community and chose Chick-fil-a to cater the event. I made the order online and the process was very easy! I requested delivery for 7:15 am and it arrived on time. I was expecting a couple large bags to be dropped off and that would be the end of the exchange, fully prepared to set up myself. The woman delivering the order was just lovely and set up a full display. The service was by far above and beyond what I was expecting. Not only were my breakfast items delivered, but sauces, utensils, and mints were provided too. This was just the PERFECT complete package! I will certainly do this again for my community and will recommend the Chick-fil-a catering service to everyone I know. read more

My partner and I had mentioned it was our first time there and the cashier, Ricardo, was kind enough to offer a complimentary cookie and got us to order his favorite item, the spicy chicken sandwich. Stopped in recently to have lunch. This place is busy at lunch time; especially since it is located right next door to SRJC, and the High School. However, the staff has it together and does a great job of getting the guests through the line or the drive thru. On my visit, we chose to eat in and were not disappointed. Normally Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite spots to get a quick bite. But twice now when I've order from them on DoorDash. I always get a Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich with large fries. Both times it's looked as if a someone has taken half the fries out. I don't believe it was the driver because the food is enclosed inside the bag with a sticker to seal the bag close. I'm a sucker for strawberry, and I have my favorite joints for strawberry shakes, but I wont mention them here out of respect... But here at Chick-fil-a, they make one mean Peach shake! One of the best shakes in town if you ask me!!!
