This poor rating is the result of a grbhub order. I got really sick, my sister who lives in the East bay decided to grubhub dinner for us. The driver and my son pulled up to my house at the same time, so my son took the bag and the guy left. My daughter noticed the sticker on the bag looked like it had been torn from the back. She opened the bag anyway and noticed one of her chicken strips looked like a bite had been taken out. We called Chic-fil-a, texted the pictures over and they said it clearly looked like it had been tampered with and a bite was taken out, and they would block the driver. That was all they could do. I understand it wasn't chic fil a, but the lack of concern of what these drivers are capable of doing is bothersome. Ultimately it is grub hubs independent contractor, but these food places are associating their name and reputation with them. We tossed the food not knowing what else he could have done to it. My sister was refunded her money. Liz, the chic fil an employee let me know this isn't the first time she has seen this. So disgusting. read more

We go to this one here in Santa Rosa. And we have been going here for years. We love this place! I think they have the freshest, best tasting chicken sandwich's anywhere. Tender, moist chicken inside, & crispy , crunchy outside. I tried something different today, a spicy deluxe , fried chicken sandwich, with bacon & pepper Jack cheese added. I asked for the honey BBQ sauce..... and WOW! That was so delicious! My family had the regular fried chicken deluxe sandwich which they love. We also love their Mac & cheese, I don't know what they do, but it's addicting. And the BEST, freshest lemonade anywhere, made daily with fresh squeezed lemons, and nothing else except water & sugar. That's their secret, everything fresh , & their veggies too. I'm going to try their frosty lemonade next time. Someone told me it's really good. If you want a treat, their cookies & brownies are yummy. Our FAV, are the chocolate chunk cookies. We have never been disappointed here. And it's so clean, and the ppl working there are so nice. This Chick-fil-A is spacious & clean with fully stocked condiments & there was a hand sanitizer machine by the door lol. This is my first time trying their breakfast. Anyway, came with a party of 3 and we got the CEC Bagel meal (chicken, egg & cheese) with hash browns & sweet tea, a chicken biscuit meal and also some nuggets. The total was roughly $18. The bagel was pretty darn good; yummy breading & texture and tasted great with the chick-fil-A sauce, egg & melted cheese. The nuggets (all breast meat) & hash browns were tasty too. Extremely let down this morning. I walked in since I know a regular lunch menu item takes 7-10 minutes and I did not want to hold up the drive thru line. I Ordered #1 Deluxe a crispy chicken sandwich lettuce, tomato, pickles and cheese. I asked for no Tomato or lettuce but add extra pickles. The inconsistency of what cashiers ask what type of cheese is astonishing. When asked I always choose Colby. What I got when I returned to my office was a regular #1 with nothing but chicken and cheese. The other wet condiments you add to your preference. The staff was pleasant and the establishment clean. But they dropped the ball this time. Need to work on repeating the order back to the customer and asking what cheese they would prefer. As a full time food courier, I like to spend my days off checking out the most hyped places I take orders from. I am almost picking up from Chick-Fil-A everyday, so I stopped by one night after a shift. The food was pretty good. I can see why people order from here a lot. I had a chicken sandwich with waffle fries and medium coke. I was suspicious of waffle fries but these were delicious. I didn't really feel ill like most fast food places make you feel. And the customer service I received was very friendly. It made for a very nice and easy experience. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5? They don't have trays for when you want to dine in. It just seems like a huge oversight that if someone wants to eat in, they have to pick from their bag and don't have anywhere to lay their food down. Otherwise pretty good food, not too expensive and I think I'll definitely be back sometime. read more

Best customer service ever - at a fast food joint! The team was very welcoming and greeted everyone with care. It's seems like a local favorite, being that the cashiers know their regulars and ask them how their doing. We couldn't decide which sauce to have for our chicken nuggets and they suggested we can try it all without hesitations and without being charged extra (there are six sauces). As for the food, it's okay to good. Pretty solid chicken sandwich place. Never had any Chick-fil-A to compare. Just had a wonderful experience here at the Santa Rosa location. I arrived planning to use a corporate gift card that I received a while back, well I discovered it had expired. I went to Chick fil a yesterday and the longer wasn't as long as I usually is but it was really slow. When it was my turn, I was told to go park and someone would bring my food in a little bit. I saw the line move with everyone getting their food. I saw a bag sitting on the counter for 15 minutes, a few minutes after I parked in front of the window. I sat in the hot car for about 20 plus minutes and finally the bag disappeared and someone came out to give me a bag of food. I asked if this was the back that'd been sitting there for 25 minutes and she lied and said no! I got home and tried the waffle fry and it was cold. I had to toss them! I definitely know that the majority of people don't like cold fries. Worse thing was that the lady at the window was more than likely a manager because she was wearing a different outfit then the young people that usually work the window. i wanted to get something quick on my way home (an hour and 15 minutes) so i got chic fil a since i live in the middle of no where and was too tired to cook. i usually always check the bag before i leave the food place but i was alone and my vision at night is bad so i wanted to get home asap . i get home and i'm STARVING and tired, they forgot my nuggets.... this might not seem like a big deal but it was my last straw, genuinely. i have never had a good experience with chic fil a, always have forgotten something or it's a different order. don't go this one or the vallejo location they are both awful. read more

Very sad experience today. I usually love ordering from here, even after finding a hair in my sandwich a year ago. Sadly it has gotten worse as I found mold on the tomato. I opened my sandwich up to add ketchup when I spotted the black spots on the tomato. I will no longer be ordering from here again. This Chick-fil-A hosted quite the friendly bunch of employees similar to most of the other Chick-fil-A's I have encounter. They sure do make you feel welcome and want to return. I ordered the Chicken Deluxe sandwich with Colby Jack Cheese, not just because it has my name on, but because it is some good cheese. I made a combo with waffle fries and an ice tea. The chicken sandwich was good and the breading had a nice light crispiness. The chicken inside was well cooked to a tender and juicy temp with good flavor. The green lettuce was plentiful and crisp, but the sandwich could of used more tomato slices. Although I forgot to ask for a multigrain bun, I did like the soft warm buttered bun the sandwich came on. It was very moist. I am a big waffle fries fan but I was disappointed with these. They were to soft and did not have that crispy exterior leading to that piping hot soft center. They were soft all the way through and not very exciting to eat. On a good note, they do brew some mighty fine black tea. This particular location has a very large drive thru to accommodate many car. I thought that was smart. We were heading over to Healdsburg for a horseback riding adventure and the girls were pretty hungry since we didn't eat breakfast or lunch before we left the house. I decided to place an online order while driving over to the restaurant at around 3 PM on Thursday, July 9th. By the time we got in line, our order showed up as unpaid since my credit card on file had expired so the young lady asked me for a different form of payment. She was super sweet and friendly. I felt really bad for her having to stand outside in that 90° heat! Our food was ready by the time we got to the window and we went on our merry way. I got the 12-piece grilled chicken nugget with a side of fresh fruit cup. My daughter seemed to really enjoy the fruit cup! The grilled chicken was pretty good, but it definitely tasted better with a side of Chick-fil-A sauce. My 15-year old niece was super happy with her spicy deluxe chicken sandwich meal! I'm not sure if anyone checks the bags here before they give them to the cars in the drive thru but the last two times coming here we've had a missing 12 count and instead of multi grain bun we get a gluten free bun ? Does ur workers know the difference from a multi grain and a gluten free? This is the 2nd time we've been given a gluten free bun. After work today, was extremely hungry and wanted something quick, easy, and after listening to my coworker talk about eating salad all week, something less than healthy. Typing in "fast food", Yelp popped up with Chick-fil-A nearby. Admittedly, I have never been to a Chick-fil-A as there isn't one near SF Bay Area, so I was curious. Pulling into the drive-thru, I noticed the line was pretty long. However thankfully, the line when by pretty fast. The person taking my order was extremely polite, and kept referring to me as "Mr. Alex" (I'm a sucker for people who are polite). Food was pretty delicious, not greasy (unlike the KFC I had the night before; stop judging me), and hit the spot. This is definitely the friendliest and most polite fast food joint I have ever been to. If there was only a Chick-fil-A near SF, I would definitely eat fast food more often (ok, more often than I already do). read more

"Eat more chiken" cows decorated the new restaurant and every seat was filled though it was not lunch or dinner time - 2pm! Good thing for a grand opening! I've only been once before and it was a long time ago but I was pleased and surprised. Simple menu of grilled or friend chicken choices led our group to chicken nuggets, grilled chicken sandwich and a classic chick-fil-a sandwich. I felt like a little kid loving the nuggets! This was the 2nd time I've ever been to Chick-fil-A. Previously, I had been to the one in Novato and had a grilled chicken sandwhich. It was decent, but was interested in trying other items on the menu. I ordered the fried chicken sandwhich. It was good, but I was surprised that my sandwhich only had two pickle slices on it. Apparently, that's all you get when you order the sandwich by itself. I went to the condiment stand and got some mayo. I also had a side salad with a nice (low cal) balsamic dressing. The salad was green (not just iceberg lettuce) and had shredded cheese, julienned carrots (and cherry tomatoes?). PROS: The food was hot. The salad tasted fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. One of the guys brought us some ranch dressing after dropping off our meal. CONS: Packaged condiments and salad dressings. I will go here in a pinch.
