I'm writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience at your location (12101 seal beach) while dining in with my family. During our visit, it took over 45 minutes to receive our food. We had to approach the counter to inquire, and the staff--including the manager, Sean--were unable to explain the delay or offer a resolution. Even after the long wait, the team was reluctant to remake the order, despite the fact that our kids--who had just come from a basketball tournament--were hungry and upset. We were surprised and disappointed by the lack of customer service and care, especially given Chick-fil-A's reputation for quality and hospitality. We hope you will look into this incident and take appropriate steps to ensure better service in the future.

Beware of hair in your food!! Thank you Chick fil A in Seal Beach for the freebie! Upon eating my chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich, with a few bites left, I had this "FREE" black hair in the sandwich. Mind you, my husband is bald and I have blonde hair. So as much as I like a nice surprise, someone's hair is NOT what I want in my sandwich. I think I expect more from Chick fil A considering the stringent health guidelines that are put forth in reputable dining establishments. Dear management, time to get your team retrained. Get the gloves and hairnets on and practice washing hands frequently. Just lost a customer because the gross hair made me lose my appetite for Chick fil A. P.s. my husband was going to bring it back to your store. Don't want to waste his time because there is nothing you will do. And I don't want any "freebies" for this grotesque incident.

I stopped by the Seal Beach Chick-fil-A to claim my free Chicken Sandwich as part of the LA Clippers promo where if the opposing team misses two consecutive free throws in the 4th quarter of a Clippers home game, fans can score a free chicken sandwich. The cool thing about this promo is that the Clippers don't even have to win, as was the case here, for the promo to work, but you only have three days after the fact to claim the complimentary sando. This Chick-fil-A is on the northern end of The Shops at Rossmoor on the west side of Seal Beach Blvd south of Bradbury. I don't usually go to this Chick-fil-A because there are a handful of other locations closer to me. The only reason why I went to this one was because it was on the way to the freeway from my last destination, but I'm glad to say that if ever I want Chick-fil-A, I would definitely try to find a good excuse to cross the county border lol. Things looked kind of bleak when I first entered. There wasn't a line to order, and when I stepped in line, it still took a while for someone to recognize me. That's because the cashier was doing something at the register without even taking a glance upwards. It felt like I was invisible for a good minute or so! Then, a different cashier, Patrick, went up to the register to take my order, and he was great! One of the best Chick-fil-A employees I've encountered to this day thus far. He immediately knew that I wanted the Honey Roasted BBQ sauce when I simply said I wanted the sauce that tasted like the Chick-fil-A sauce, but came in the smaller packets. Initially, I said I'd like *a* packet of that sauce, but when he asked me how many I'd like, I said 2. He grabbed 3 for me. I also asked for a cup of water, all to go. It was only a brief interaction, but he *almost* made me forget about his co-worker who was too laser-focused on his job and not so much on the customer. I say *almost* because I still mentioned it in this review lol. The wait was pretty brief as well. It was probably two minutes before another crew member called my name. The interior was quite empty at the time of my visit, so even though I ordered to go, I saw an empty table that was right next to the sanitizer, so I ate there. While Chick-fil-A's sandwiches are not worthy of five stars, this one wasn't too bad! Nice and warm just how I like it, but definitely not plump and juicy, though if it took just a couple minutes to get me my sandwich, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. There are plenty of tables inside to enjoy your meal as well as an indoor playground at the end of the dining area to entertain the kiddos. There's also a drive thru with two entrances that converge into one lane, but if you want your meal quicker, I'd recommend stopping your engine and walking inside to place your order. Much quicker that way! This is a good solid Chick-fil-A to stop at, especially considering it's not too far off the 405 freeway. If you'd like to make a pit stop here, exit at Seal Beach Blvd and go north. You can also get some shopping done in the area too before you get back on the road!

It's a fam favorite, my kids are curmudgeons of all things chicken, and this is one of their top picks. Service is always on point, whether it be dine-in or takeout. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is exactly what you've come to expect from Chic-Fil-A. This location does a fine job by my standards[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Worst Chick Fil A original sandwich I've ever had. Did they slice the chicken breast in half thickness-wise- like making a cutlet?? And these extra pieces of just breading that I had to snap off - they were so overcooked and HARD! I love Chick Fil A but this location ain't it.

I really hope Chick Fil A stops using those real people standing at drive thro. Sometimes you get very curteous reps to take ur orders, which is nice. But most of the time, you get these weird angry looking reps who are just weird and look at u like we kill their family. Dont say thank you, make u wait, standing over looking angry and w very bad attitude, its so annoying. Really dont want to deal w that just ordering a drive thru. Stop being in such a hurry to move the drive thru line that you lose the quality in your food. I ordered a 30 count meal, and the fries were stale and undercooked. The heart container you put the nuggets in was very hot and could easily have burned a little kid. The tin is very thin, and I don't think should be served with piping hot food in it. By the time I drove home in less than 4 minutes, there was NO ice in my ICE tea. Now I remember why I don't eat here very often anymore. read more

I've visited this location several times, and issues with my order are starting to become common. Recently, I placed an order through the chickfila app for pickup via the drive thru and did not receive a straw for my drink or a fork, even though I specified to include those with my order. I've experienced similar issues in the past at this location. The food quality is okay, but I feel like other chickfila locations have fresher tasting food. Overall, this location could use some quality improvements for the drive thru. read more

I like this chick-fil-a because it's less crowded that the one in the Long Beach Towne center but the drive thru line can be a hazard. It gets crowded and the traffic flow backs up and is a mess. If that happens, I mobile order from the Long Beach location. I've never had issues with orders from either location. I've actually never been inside either place because drive thru and mobile ordering is so convenient. read more

Standard Chick-Fil-A goodness but I'm reviewing based on the over the top customer service. I had gone through the drive thru at 7pm on a Tuesday and there was no line. There was a gal with an ipad who took our order and swiped the credit card which was a great one stop shop! While driving around the curve to the pick-up window there was a teenager standing behind what looked like a valet stand. He started yelling my husband's name as we slowly drove by & made eye contact with him. "Do want your receipt?!" Haha We proceeded to the pick up window and that employee yelled out my husband's name again. It is so random why I found it so funny but I couldn't stop, probably because we were the only one in line & they yelled it out like we were in a crowded Starbucks. I appreciate that in this day and age of everyone going digital there were so many actual employees that we saw. Although the valet guy could easily be put to better use! read more

Directly on top of my sandwich bun it looked like a gray hair. Gross! I took it in to show them, but there was no way I wanted a remake. I asked for a refund. I have to wait up to 7 days to get it! Bad experience! read more

Monday 12-04-2 I would not even give one star. However, you cannot post a review unless the star is selected. Frustrating when you choose an establishment to have a meal and the delivery is completely not what you ordered We did not receive our full order when we called to speak to a manager the phone was not answered strange how a business can not answer a phone call when they do not close until 10 PM we called straight for 15 minutes it was unsuccessful. Our order number 620-9301. Our order was at 8:07 PM. In the amount of $52.54 This establishment did not answer the phone for an hour and 47 minutes before closing. read more

Hi, I've been a repeat customer here for years. The last three times I've came the chicken is extremely "woody" and gross to eat. The texture is bad, it's been like that in nuggets and sandwich breasts. Please find a new chicken distribution company. The one you use is pumping the chickens full of antibiotics making the chicken disgusting. read more

This Chick-fil-A is absolutely on point, every single time I go there, their sandwiches are excellent every single time, especially the spicy one. My business partner and I buy breakfast several times a week, we drive through the Seal Beach chick-fil-A around twice a month. I enjoy the breakfast bowl and she likes the chicken/bacon breakfast sandwich it's convenient and always delicious. I would give the Seal Beach location a 4 star rating except for the fact 4 times out of 5, even if I specifically ask they do not drop a spoon or fork in the bag. Besides that this location has hot fresh food served by friendly employees. Please work on checking bags for utensils in the future. Thank you read more

So, the chicken strips appear to have shrunken by half. They're literally the size of the catsup packet. Can't imagine how small the nuggets are. A shame I didn't notice until I got home, would have just demanded a refund. Pretty pathetic. But hey, I imagine they save on sauce!! read more

Ordered a grilled sandwich & they gave me a a regular one. When I asked for the manager he said he was the manager & wasn't going to give me the correct sandwich or charge me for a regular one & charged me for the grilled one. They were closing soon & didn't want to do anything. Don't go there, if you care about customer service or for them to give you what you ordered don't go there. Me & my family aren't buying from Chick Fil-A anymore. Going anywhere else like Canes. read more

Been to this site a few times in Seal Beach. Never had any problem's with food or the employees. Somebody must have dumped all the salt in the waffle fries! I think my BP went up. I'm not exaggerating they were so salty had to throw those away. The number one sandwich I ordered had a lot of salt in the recipe. One of your employees was not feeling it today. That's all I'm going to say! I think I'm done with Fast Food. People are just putting way too much salt in the food. read more

I just went through the drive thru. As I went to get my wallet out of my purse it was not there but was at home in my work bag!!! I told the man, Jayden, who took my order that I left my wallet at home. He said no problem I'll get it. He took out his wallet and paid. This made me want to cry. What an exceptional human being. My kids love Chick-Fil-A, but in all honesty, I'm not crazy about it. On 06/27, I decided to treat my kids for CFA dinner, first, the lady who took my order didn't take it correctly, and I made the mistake of declining a receipt. Second, on the drive home, I looked inside the bag (another mistake of mine), and I found that one of the sandwich's wS missing and the other wasn't a deluxe as orders. I flipped a u-turn, go inside and ask for my order to be reviewed. This store manager; Karen tells me that she will charge me for the lettuce and cheese to make it a deluxe (I actually had a coupon for a free deluxe, which I didn't get), I said ok, and she charges me for the extra sandwich, and proceeded by putting her hand inside of the sides bag while touching the fries. What's wrong with those managers not knowing the abc of food handling? I completely understand that I didn't pay for the other sandwich, I wasn't looking for a freebie, but to put your hand inside of my food bag touching my fries, and charging me for the cheese and lettuce is beyond me. read more

Cheerful workers and fresh, quality food that is worth the higher price. I never trust a dollar menu. Do you really think a $1 taco has genuine beef? Speaking of meat, only chicken choices and one fish sandwich here. My Southwest salad ($8.49) had a lot of chicken and was large in size. For that much, you hope it'd be. Also liked the hint of lime on the tortilla strips. My family liked the grilled and spicy deep fried chicken sandwiches. Mixed feelings about the waffle fries - look good but eaten up quickly as they're big and there's less potato skin than if they were skinny fries. They taste dangerously good. But I clearly LOVE their coffee. My mom loved it, too. Wonder if you can buy Thrive Farmers in a store or online? I'd come in just for their java! Plus they have flavored creamer cups. I am writing this review to say, I got four burgers, one of them a meal. And they gave me everything, even the meal, but not the burger! Isn't that crazy!? And I'm not trying to go back to get it, but I'm just telling everyone, that they owe me a free burger. Honestly they didn't give me my meal at all! Chick-fil-A is one of those places I always forget about until it is within my sight. Home of the most delicious lemonade, chicken nuggets and oodles of sauces. The double lane drive thru here is bizarre. They employees stand outside at the screen and take your order. However they usually stand in front of the screen and block your vision. They also collect payment via credit card right there, ask for your name and have you pull forward. Not a huge fan of the system. Food is usually good. Price is okay. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This has to be one of the worst chick filas in the country. My friends and I joke that we would rather go to the one at the Long Beach town center than this one. And we live less than a mile from this location. They are consistently getting orders wrong. I ask for light ice and every time I do I swear they double the amount in spite. Staff is mixed. Sometimes you will get great service but when it's the high school age employees the service drops. They had a fight over a text infront of customers last time I was there read more

And if I don't feel like cooking, I can come for lunch in order to walk away with a sandwich that they can make for me. Overall, this is a small shop, that's thoughtfully stocked with some really high-quality ingredients for me to make a nice dinner at home!

I am writing to formally complain about a disappointing experience I had at your Chick-fil-A location at the Shops at Rossmoor (12101 Seal Beach Blvd, Seal Beach, CA 90740) on 12/31. As someone with 25 years of experience in restaurant ownership, I understand the importance of professionalism, courtesy, and clear communication in customer interactions, and unfortunately, my visit fell far short of these standards. Upon arriving at the drive-thru, I entered the second lane as there were no signs, cones, or any other indications that it was closed. The lane appeared fully open and operational. When I reached the order window, the associate immediately informed me in a rude and dismissive tone that "This lane is closed, we won't serve you, and you have to go around." Due to the design of the drive-thru, I was already committed to the lane and unable to easily exit or maneuver without causing disruption. I attempted to explain the situation and point out the lack of signage, but the associate refused to listen, cutting me off and reiterating that they would not serve me unless I went back around. There was no effort to de-escalate the situation, offer an apology, or provide any polite assistance. The overall demeanor was unprofessional and lacked the courtesy I expect from a brand like Chick-fil-A, which is known for its customer service. This handling of the issue was unnecessary and could have been resolved with better communication, such as proper signage to prevent customers from entering a closed lane in the first place. As a long-time patron of Chick-fil-A, I was left feeling frustrated and undervalued. read more

I've been to most all the local Chik Fil A locations, but for some strange reason, this store always (3 out of 4 times), keeps missing items in my order. 1st visit, they forgot to include my fries in the combo meal. I called to complain and the manager offers to give me my fries, I kindly told him I live 15 miles away and it wouldn't be worth driving 30 miles round trip to pickup an order of fries that was supposed to be included in the meal. With gas prices around $3.50/gallon and my SUV getting 15 miles a gallon, it would have cost me $7 in gas to go pickup a $1 order of fries that was part of the combo meal. 2nd visit, I order the chicken nuggets and I asked for 2 BBQ sauce. Came home and there was NO BBQ sauce. Wtf? I called again to the store manager to complain and he apologized, but my meal was ruined (not as good as Chik Fil A normally tastes). 3rd time, they got my chicken sandwich comb order correct, including the peach milkshake I substituted for the drink (paid extra). 4th and my last visit to this location , I asked for 1 chicken sandwich and 2 spicy chicken sandwich...what do you expect? At least their consistent in getting the order wrong!! They gave me 1 spicy chicken and 2 regular chicken sandwich. Dayaaaam. These dm meals aren't cheap either. For an extra $2 dollar, I could eat at a local sit down restaurant and they get the order correct. If you have no choice but to go to his location through the drive in, then I recommend you check and double check your order- even if there are 10 cars behind you. Take your time. During a recent visit to a Chick-fil-A location, we encountered several issues that impacted our dining experience. Unfortunately, the behavior of the assistant manager and one of the employees displayed a lack of professionalism, which detracted from the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. After placing our order, we experienced a significant delay and did not receive our food as expected. After notifying Chick-fil-A about the situation, the assistant manager offered us food that had been sitting in the back for approximately fifteen to twenty minutes instead of addressing our concerns with a more appropriate customer service response. This lack of attentiveness not only disrupted our party celebration but also resulted in our $30 cake melting due to the extended wait. Additionally, the food that we eventually received was not up to the standard typically associated with the brand; it tasted a bit dry and lacked freshness. The restaurant's layout and aesthetics also left much to be desired, as the indoor environment felt odd in shape and appeared somewhat dingy. Furthermore, the children's play area was outdated and poorly lit, contributing to a dated impression overall. These factors combined made for a less-than-satisfactory visit. read more

I have yet to review one of my favorite fast food chicken sandwiches. If you are familiar with this review, you should recognize that I have a fond appreciation for Chick-fil-A grub. The fast food spot that claims "We Didn't Invent The Chicken, Just The Chicken Sandwich" has made me a believer. The Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich review is long overdue, but better late than never. Let me admit something here right from the start. When I first had Chick-fil-A about 10 years ago, I started with their original Chicken Sandwich and wasn't overly impressed. I found it way too simple and plain. Blame should go to my lack of familiarity with a "southern-style" chicken sandwich. Something else I'll admit to, I grew to LOVE this sandwich and have probably made it a twice-a-month habit since. There must have been something to draw me back in again and again... you really just can't deny the quality of Chick-fil-A in the quick-serve industry.
