Ohhhh nooooooo. This hurt my little tummy. Unfortunately, this was not edible. I had a lot of fat pieces and there was no flavor whatsoever so ever. After a few bites my stomach began to hurt extremely bad. I do t see myself returning. Each bite should get better and better vs the opposite. Parking can be busy during lunch. Interior nice and clean. Cold station was low. Grrrrrr I don't like for things to make my stomach hurt at this point it was a waste of time and money. Customer was ok, personable and helpful.

Another great San Diego establishment brought up to LA Area! Family owned, smaller chain. Rolled Tacos are our family favorite when we are in SD! They have a great $11 special - 3 rolled tacos with rice & beans and a drink. I ordered two chicken and one beef. They tacos with loaded with guacamole and cheese on top! They have a sauce bar and I tried their guac-salsa, excellent and a medium salsa, also very good. Rolled tacos were loaded with meat! Service was excellent. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table (for dining in). Very spacious interiors with lots of tables to spread out and relax while dining. There are also outside tables shared with the other local eateries. The interior has several full wall murals. Self-service soda station and surprised to see Orange Crush. I had to pour it, for nostalgia! Overall, great experience (for fast food). Food came out quickly and you can tell it was freshly prepared. Next time I plan to try their Torta or loaded fries! Lots of great options!

Was recommended to come here by a coworker Got the surf and turf burro, quesabirria and a small horchata for $33. Portions are huge. I saved my half of the burro. They have a salsa bar with hot carrots, guaca salsa, verde, habanera and a spicy salsa. Workers were cheerful and nice. Food came out within 10 minutes. Store is clean. Would come back again!

While in SoCal I knew I definitely had to get some Mexican food and Burros & Fries hit the spot. I shared the carne asada burro and small adobado fries, both were good, but preferred the burro more. The burro came packed with tender carne asada, guacamole, and salsa fresca - delicious. The small fries was larger than expected - definitely plenty to share between 2-4 people depending on if other items are order. I like how they didnt skimp on the meat (marinated pork). I also tried some of the beef rolled tacos, which were also good. If you don't plan on eating these rolled tacos right away, highly suggest requesting the toppings (guac, lettuce, cheese, and salsa fresca) on the side or it will get soggy. Plenty of seating inside and some outside. Lots of parking available in the large lot just outside the restaurant.

I really hope management sees this I don't know what kind of prior training Adrian has had,(to be honest, the customer service Adrian gave, you can't be taught) but he was absolutely amazing. Right down to being a genuine person and right down to being a straight up ten when it came to customer service It's a step above a fast food type of chain I'd say. You go up to the counter and order / pay. You serve yourself at the delicious salsa bar (love their avocado salsa) Adrian was very helpful with the menu, suggesting things and asking us if we wanted to make it a combo so that it came with beans and rice and a drink. (We ended up getting the shredded beef taquitos, the birria enchiladas combo and I asked for just a burrito with cheese, beans and birria. And then the bag of chips and salsa) I came here in my pajamas, I couldn't stand up straight because I just got over having sepsis and it took a toll on me. I knew I looked like a MESS. After we ordered I started walking to a booth. I heard someone asking if somebody needed help. I didn't pay attention, because I didn't think Adrian was talking to me. But he ended up coming up to me and asking if I was ok. I am not going to sugarcoat it. I have been out in public very very sick and nobody has said anything, I have even been on the ground inside of a store with people all circled around me staring. Still, nobody asking if I was ok.. So it was very refreshing to have him ask if I needed help and to check on me. when he brought out the food, I think he assumed we got it to go, because of how bad I was. He packed it all nicely in to go containers (we wanted to eat it there) we told him it was no problem at all and we would eat it out of the take out boxes. He even asked if I needed help opening up the container because I was struggling (I was having a really bad flare with my hands since I have RA and having the sepsis just made everything I have flare) when it was time to leave he even came out and gave my mom bigger containers for the salsa instead of the little tiny ones for their salsa bar as we were packing up our leftovers. I honestly will only come to this location and I will be back because of him. The food also was really great. Everything tasted really fresh. The price was good and I am a sucker for Birria. It's pretty trendy right now (I've seen so many pics of their delicious fries) As I was leaving, I had to lean on a pillar outside because I was too weak and out of breath to make it to the car. My mom's hands were full with our leftovers. Adrian came outside and started apologizing and asking if it was ok if he helped. We declined, but he literally offered to carry the leftovers so my mom could help me / he offered to help me to the car. Again, I really really hope management sees this. I actually will be calling the restaurant and asking for the manager so I can tell them about how amazing Adrian is. The place was really clean I really liked the salsa bar They had up close parking, they do share it with a bunch of other restaurants right there They have a nice menu. It's pretty big You order and pay at the counter and then your food comes out It's great for take out. The food came out so fast. And, obviously the customer service. Adrian was absolutely amazing. His kindness literally made me cry

This place opened not that long ago. It's so tasty! The burrito cost about $16. I only can finish half. People were friendly and the place replaced an old Rubio's restaurant. It was tasty....id come back again. Any fries added to anything is ok in my book.

I visited your Seal Beach location yesterday for the first time, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The fries we received were flavorful but extremely soggy. The Quesabirria was also disappointing--it was essentially a tortilla with meat and came without the consommé. When I got home and unpacked our order, I noticed additional issues. The torta was so moist that it seemed as though it had been sitting for quite some time before being served. Overall, the quality of the food did not meet expectations for a first visit. I called the store to explain my concerns, particularly regarding the missing consommé. The employee's response was simply that "sometimes that happens." I was then told that if I wanted to drive back to the restaurant, I could pick up the missing consommé and would be given a free soda. I declined. To be honest, offering a free soda felt insulting given the circumstances. We spent nearly $55, and the response to multiple issues with our order seemed very dismissive. The attitude of "it happens" did not inspire confidence or make me feel that my concerns were taken seriously. I had heard good things about your restaurant and had high hopes for our first visit, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I have included photos of the food we received, including a comparison between the Quesabirria advertised on your website and what was actually served. Based on this experience, I will likely not be returning for a second visit.

steak chips: beans, guacamole, sour cream, salsa fresca + cheese = $17.95 for a large

3.4768 stars I came in for a quick snack and found myself in great snacking company. Ngl, the menu is overwhelming. There are many, many combinations to choose from so be prepared to do some light reading. I didn't order fries though I should have. Instead, I opted for steak chips ($17.49 for a large). Mine came topped lots of guac, sour cream, salsa fresca, and a sprinkle of cheese. First off, the steak was so tender and flavorful. And the chips - they were chipping. They were delightfully crispy, lightly salted, and the perfect vessel for scooping. On the other hand, my nacho toppings needed a little work. There were no beans (though they were promised in the description) which would have helped to offset all the guac. And there was much too much guac. Too much guac and too little of everything else. Moreover, I would have liked for some melty cheese, but instead I got a sprinkle of unmelted shredded cheese. I think this was mostly a quality control issue. The few good bites I did have were great. Hopefully the toppings will be more balanced next time. Burro & Fries has an expansive menu. I'll definitely be back to try other items.

Burros & Fries is a chain of Mexican fast casual restaurants. 16 locations are in California; 3 are in Arizona. This is my first experience with this brand, and its food. I arrived about 30 minutes before store closing. Within this context, I feel counter service was acceptable. On this occasion, I ordered the "carne asada burro" ($12.49). With tax ($1.16), my ticket was $13.65 before gratuity. I ordered the burrito, per house preparation (no customization). It was a good tasting burrito; and I feel the serving size and quantity of contents within were reasonable for the price paid. I'll also note that the taste of their carne asada is distinct from other Mexican fast casual restaurants. I attribute this to the marinade and treatment of the beef on the grill. I'd go back again.

Had the breakfast burrito, I think it had bacon and sour cream. They have a few and I totally forgot which one I got. It was a good size, made fresh, good service. Didn't take too long, they weren't busy at all. The place was clean.

Decided to stop by as I was in the area. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The inside was also very clean. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. I got the surf and turf burrito as well as the Tijuana burrito.

The hostess was so accommodating as we were undecided where to sit. Once seated our server, Steven, was attentive, as were all of the staff members. Fresh complimentary chips and salsa arrived quickly. I had the two item combination with a crunchy beef taco, and a chili relleno, all beans, no rice. My friend got the crunchy chicken taco and a chicken tamale with rice and beans. And a cup of albondigas soup. The beans were delicious, definitely made in house (always a good indicator of home made refried beans is the flavor and consistency). The crunchy taco was perfect with plenty of shredded beef, there was so much food I took home the chili rellano and half the beans. The restaurant is an acquaint, clean,, beautiful spot on Main Street. With both inside and outside seating. Being so close to Long Beach I forgotten about Avila's. Don't forget to ask for a side of the tomatillo sauce to dip your corn chips in, it's a change of pace from salsa (add'l charge, but worth it). So good!!!

In addition to all those basic menu items they have some stellar creations. I opted for the carne asada plate - simple and not spicy. Hubby ordered the Carne en su Jugo- very spicy with tomatillo broth and serranos, cilantro, bacon and onions. Both of our entrees came with bean soup and tortillas. The chips/ salsa starter was addictive. Huge basket of fresh warm chips, and a salsa like no other! Chunks of veggies and just the right spice. It was hard to get those chunks on the chips but it was delicious. My carne asada was tasty, a large portion with grilled scallion and rice. I wish some of the "bean soup" had been pureed to be a bit thicker but the broth was good, with a variety of beans. Hubby's dish had an interesting flavor, very spicy. He wished the broth had some rice, though, to accompany it. We could come back weekly to try many more entrees. Their salads sound tasty, too. Service was great.

Our waitress was absolutely phenomenal, super friendly and anticipating all of our needs (water refills, leftover containers, etc.). Service overall by all staff was friendly. We were actually presently surprised with the taste of the food, thinking it might be more Americanized but they actually had very authentic and tasty totopos (tortilla chips). The tomato salsa that came with the chips was also very refreshing. We asked for hot sauce too and the house habanero salsa really packed a punch! We ordered carne asada nachos, pork belly chilaquiles (from the brunch menu), a breakfast burrito, poke, and steamed clams. The steamed clams came in a rich tomato broth and the breakfast burrito was massive. The poke was just okay and the chilaquiles a bit too soggy for me, and the carne asada nachos a bit dry. Nonetheless, presentation and portion sizes were respectable. The last comment is that food here is quite pricey but that reflects the likely high rent of a restaurant in 2nd and PCH.
