They have a walk up table and someone standing there to take the order..he was friendly -took our order and in told him we were going to the restroom and we would be right back. We came back and jahie was ready with our or order. Yay! It was a hot and sunny day and we wanted a shade table. (They only had two options. We asked if she could wipe down one of the dirty tables and she suggested another table but was next to a large party of teens. ( too much for my 82 year old mom who can't see or walk all that well) Jahie suggested the back/side of the restaurant and it felt more like a break room with a couple employees eating along with other employees cleaning out these large stacked containers and all of them chatting amongst each other. Reeeeally disappointed in her lack of care or consideration. One odd thing...the silverware didn't have a knife included...just a fork..so I ended up eating with my hands. Though all of the napkins and containers are very nice for being disposable. I got the 1/4 chicken with 2 sides..a salad (really fresh greens and a nice house dressing..and a side of potatoes-they were really tasty. I asked for my money back and the cashier gets what appears to be the manager. He refunds the money, balls the refund reciept up and says in a very smart mouth way..have a nice day! Tiny pieces of tender short rib were hidden amongst the butternut squash pieces and some blistered grape tomatoes. I could have used more protein, even with the eggs. The balsamic glaze was surprisingly light, and I was pleased it wasn't too vinegary. The short rib was not lean but had little waste. The flavor was very mild so I requested hot sauce and wow was it hot. Didn't need a lot, zowie! Husbands club came on a nice crusty piece of French bread, with a side of pasta salad. He enjoyed the meaty sandwich, but the pasta was unremarkable. For having tipped, I am not sure what service we received other than the delivery of our meals and the hot sauce but cashier and food runner were pleasant. Both sides were good, but the chicken was awful - very dry and cold. It was so bad that we didn't even eat it. At that point, we didn't feel the concerns would be addressed, so we chose to continue our meal as-is, though we left feeling dissatisfied. For my half of the sandwich, I ordered the noble club which has chicken, bacon, roasted tomatoes, mixed greens, pickled red onion + garlic aioli on a ciabatta roll. Ngl, the half sandwich was exponentially smaller than expected. That aside, the sandwich was good. The rotisserie chicken was nice and tender, but the real star was actually the garlic aioli which really bound everything together. The aioli added so much flavor to the sandwich. The chicken noodle soup was chicken noodle-ing. For the soup, they use long, skinny pasta noodles which was a really nice surprise. It gave the soup so much texture. Soup base was lemon-y and a nice change from the usual celery/carrot-y vegetable stock. I love a good soup and this one was giving. Noble Rotisserie was an unexpected surprise. The chicken is outstanding; perfectly cooked juicy snide and snap skin outside. The upgrade side to elote was a great decision; u like classic elote but delicious with slightly spicy burst of flavor. The pasta salad is an excellent side as well. This place just does great quality food and the price point is right too. My wife and I headed out to Long Beach for a scooter ride around town. I asked ChatGPT what to do on a lazy Saturday, and it suggested a beach walk or a bike ride. So here we are. I went with the Steak and Eggs (medium rare with over-easy eggs), and my wife got the Chicken and Waffle, which looked like one of their specialties. Plating was simple but very appetizing. Both dishes looked great. Now the taste? A bit mixed. My steak came out closer to medium well, even though the staff had confirmed medium rare. It looked like a flank steak. One of the egg yolks was broken--not a big deal, but worth noting. The flavor was okay. Not bad, not great. Chimichurri was the garlicky-oniony kind, and actually quite good. The toast? Surprisingly excellent. The Chicken and Waffle was the more unique dish. Instead of fried chicken, they serve it rotisserie-style (makes sense, given the name). Unfortunately, the chicken was dry and had a strong gamey flavor. I don't think it was brined, and while the honey glaze might have been meant to balance it, it just amplified the gaminess. The waffle itself was fine, but not that golden crispy-outside, fluffy-inside kind. The bacon syrup, though? That was the hero of the plate. Hard to go wrong with bacon. Would I come back? The new location no longer serves meals on real plates with silverware but instead you receive tiny paper plates with plastic cutlery. The menu is also lacking items that were previously available and the chicken portions are smaller and with much less flavor.
