Just went through the drive through out order was correct both times that they read it back to us. When we got our order our grilled chicken nuggets, they were fried. Also my market salad was frozen. There are three Chick Fil As in our area and this is by far the worst. The employees are not friendly or helpful. They always seem annoyed to be working. It pains me to write this review, as I'm such a Chick Fil-A fan. That being said, service execution and customer service, at this location, are about the worst I've ever experienced. This morning, after arriving at the designated curbside pickup spot, to pick up my Mobile order, I sent the location notice of my arrival via the app. I then waited 10 mins, but no one came out to me. Taking matters into my own hand, I went inside and saw that there were at least 8 other customers waiting for their orders. No one was in line to place an order, so I went to the counter and explained that I wanted to pick up my Mobile order, but had already been waiting for some time. After several mins of mass confusion, it was determined that my order was somehow lost in the cyber-sphere. While I don't blame this location for that, I do blame them for what occurred afterwards... My order was taken again and then I proceeded to wait an additional 15 mins, while watching disorganization and frustration abound. At no time during my visit did any of the managers or employees apologize for the delay, thank me for my patience or even make eye contact with me for that matter...All in all, this was such a disappointing experience for me and my hungry little one. I still want to love you Chick Fil-A, South Riding, so I beg you, please, please do better. Despite having the kids taking the orders outside and having a money runner...you will be in the drive thru for a min 20 minutes during lunch rush every time!!!! Something is not right with the management inside! No disrespect but please get the Reston location management to come over and offer tips suggestions for efficiency. As I pulled up to the window, I noticed the tag on the gentleman helping me said "operator" so I asked him if he was the owner and he said yes. I asked if I could make a comment about the wait time in the drive thru and he said...they don't have enough employees and they are hiring more folks and that will help the problem! Absolutely AMAZING! Everything about them. The service was beyond stellar! We dined in and we're instantly greeted with a placemat, ketchup, straws, and napkins. The lady constantly checked up on us and everyone else around the restaurant. Food is out of this world as always. Have always had great experiences here. Also great quality. Only negative is they need to keep a better eye on the playground. It's ages 3 and under and today clearly there was a 5 year old playing there with my 2 year old daughter. Made me uncomfortable. Sweet staff! I know other reviews hold negative words but we had a great experience. Sat inside. Lovely ambiance with jazzy music playing and it was clean and cozy. While we waited for our food, someone came over to ask if they could bring us a high chair-- when we said yes, she informed us she'd bring wipes, napkins, and a adhesive eating mat did our child too. There was also a fun little indoor play park. Food was fresh and FAST. Drinks came out so quickly even that I was surprised. After we got our food, someone checked on us to see if they could bring us anything else. Everyone was smiling and friendly. You could even hear the staff having positive and friendly conversations with each other-- a nice change of pace from the unfortunately too common gossipy environments that can happen in work places. Thankfully, like I said, conversations here were positive and pleasant. That's the sort of thing that creates the entire experience-- and here they did it very well. Will be returning. Unf, FINALLY. Ive been getting the cravings ever since I saw the "Now Hiring" sign on 50. Somehow I ended up there on opening day (far too late for the free year of chicken, though) and it was packed. The parking lot is enormous, bur it was still hard to find a place to park. Line was long but it moved very quickly. Got my food quickly, a spicy chicken sandwich combo with no toppings. You dont need toppings when you have Chick Fil A sauce. The sandwich is just the smallest bit moist from the wrapper, which actually makes it taste better rather than making it soggy. The chicken is fried just enough for a crunch, but soft and juicy in the inside. I prefer the spicy to regular because I like flavor, but theres nothing wrong with the plain. The fries are much the same- crisp on outside, soft on inside, doused in CFA sauce, just wonderful. You can dip the sandwich in the sauce, too, for even more flavor. Their sweet tea is sweet, close to overwhelming, so when I go I mix half sweet, half unsweet, or half unsweet half lemonade and end up with an Arnold. Tea is better with this food than with other fast food joints that serve tea on the reg. As I left, they handed me a card for a free breakfast meal. The CFA sausage biscuit is the densest form of matter in the universe. One of these things is enough to fill you to the brim, and the sausage is good to boot. I also got the spicy chicken biscuit, but it made my mouth super dry since I didnt go for the CFA sauce, since thats not a breakfast saucem Came back mid afternoon on a Friday later, still got a lot of people for the time. Ordered a Spicy Deluxe - you didnt rly taste the toppings too much, but it adds nice texture. The CFA sauce & sandwich are just so flavorful. In gonna lose a lot of money to this place. I've been to this Chick Fil A quite a few times and I'd have to admit, I've never had a bad experience! Last time I was here I ordered online and wrote for them to write a joke on my bag. It took the worker some time to come up with a joke, but he did write it, which I really appreciated because some restaurants they simply ignore your request. Also, they gave me a larger size drink than I paid for and they gave us extra nuggets too. All the other times I've just had an average experience with quick service. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because usually if I go to the drive through around 8 pm, it usually has multiple lines crowded with people. This Chickfila has the worst customer service of any chickfila I've ever been too. Every time I've gone there, the workers are always standing around more focused on horsing around then tending to the numerous customers. My last visit, I had to wait a long to get a refill even though several workers saw me and made eye contact with me. The trash was also overflowing and they weren't even busy. So disappointed. I have been craving chicken minis (the tiny chicken biscuits) for weeks but I never wake up early enough since I work a retail schedule. Those little honey buns are so delicious. This new one off route 50 is less than 10 minutes from my house. I hopped up early & couldn't wait to sink my teeth into those delicious minis. -Just moved here from GA and the first time I came to this Chick-fil-A for breakfast the service and food size was fantastic! The first time I had a nice guy ( I think he said he was from Ukraine ) ring me up and he was very nice and made sure I had everything I wanted and then a girl named Max handed me my food and she was externally energetic and sweet. The past couple times I went to the Chick-fil-A closer to Dulles because I live closer to there but every time the service there is not that great. - The second time I came to this location at south riding Max got my order and I told her she was the reason I returned to this specific location. I also love how much better the food quality taste at this one compared to the one at Dulles. The breakfast burritos are much thicker and hash browns taste more fresh. - Definitely do not mind driving out of my way to come back to this location for great food and phenomenal service! read more

After a few hours of shopping, at 1:30pm I just wanted something quick for my energy was a bit low...This is a new location and it is pretty busy but just like any other chick fil a they have lots of helper so I got my food delivered just a few minutes after I situated myself on a table by the window towards back near the play area. Yes, and while my I dont have small or school age children anymore (both have graduated college) this place has an indoor play area which is good for customer with kids. It was the cleanest and one of the few tables available left. As I said, it was pretty busy but the hustle and bustle did not bother for I had the freshest chicken sandwich in all the times I've visited many chick fil a. Keep up the good work. I waited in line for 25 minutes to be declined my breakfast order at exactly 1030. Then waited another 20 minutes just to exit the drive thru. The worst Chic Fil A I've been to! Ordered curbside and i watch a worker hand an order to another car then walk towards me with just a drink but no food? She hands me the drink and says the rest of the order is being prepared. So I'm waiting and checking my phone when I hear a clunk on my door - another employee hit my SUV door with the plastic tray containing my order and was resting it on my door! WTH?!?! And then when I checked the order there was no fork for the grilled nuggets and so many fries had fallen out before they were put in my bag that it looked like a child size French fry box. I dont eat this type of thing often, but when I do, its so nice to goto this specific location. why? because whoever is managing this one is absolutely on the ball. Everyone there has been so pleasant, they aren't just saying the words, they actually seem happy enough to be there, their uniforms are clean, they proactively try and help you out. The food tastes just like the food should. Perhaps I just enjoy the small thing, but this is exactly how a fast food place should be run, and the younger people that work there are clearly of better quality than most fast food joints. read more

Food is with good quality as supplied by the corporate with the same recipe, I believe. The problem is lack of service committment unlike what they talk about. I use this place as the closest one from my home. When you order coffee, those part-time teenagers often miss and never even brewed while I waited for more than 30 min. When this happened almost 90% of my visits, I realized that it's not those kids doing a job right but manager / supervisors not training or observing quality of service right. Our time is precious just like those working in this place. Be respectful like marketing words about customer service. You guys are never close. read more

The parfait is just the right amount of sweet, not too sweet. The chicken minis are their regular nuggets on cute little biscuits, also delicious. I love how friendly and helpful everyone always is in here. Previous review (still applies): Such great food for very reasonable prices. There are tons of healthy options, the food is great. They make their fruit cups fresh in the store every day (you can get this instead of fries). Their nuggets are real chicken breast.... I mean when you bite into them they are chunks of breast meat not processed beyond recognition, like their neighbor's are. Try the grilled nuggets if you are looking for an even more healthy option. This was my first time visiting this location and when we walked in there were no available high chairs. The staff welcomed me and looked for a high chair and said they could not find one. They were simply being used by all of the other kids in the restaurant. Once a high chair was available, a staff member brought it to our table for us, which was very helpful. After my husband ordered, we received four of the five meals to our table and were missing my youngest son's food. He was quite unhappy because of this, but thankfully the staff brought another kids meal out pretty quickly. After this, I'm used to staff at most locations offering to clear trays and fill drinks, but they did not at this location. I've always loved the spicy chicken recipe here too, but the buns are just decent and the tomato appears gmo half the time.. Makes me sad that chick-fil-a doesn't offer spicy nuggets or strips. They also took away two of my favorite things, the cheese dipping sauce and the spicy biscuit from the breakfast menu. They won't even allow a spicy filet sub in the morning and most people never even knew they had a cheese sauce. Huge bummer on both. Please bring those back! With that said, I'm still a fan of the chain overall and this particular location seems to run and be managed well. New breakfast scrambles/burritos are neat.
