The food and the staff are wonderful. I place my order about 30 minutes before I arrive to "save time" before going to work. I go through the drive thru and no one is in line. I let them know that it's an online order and I pull up to the window. Today they had me waiting 15 minutes. All that time I thought I was saving was out the window. Torrance Food Crawl #439 I guess Torrance needed a fourth Chick-fil-A. This new location on 190th street is typical of most other Chick-fil-A locations. In fact, to their credit (and I guess it's a positive), there are very few other fast food chains that offer a product as consistently as Chick-fil-A does at all their locations. In a sense, once you've been to one of them, you've been to all of them. I've tried a couple of the chicken sandwiches here, a Chick-fil-A Deluxe and a Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Both were what I expected, with quality chicken, fresh vegetables, soft buns, and an overall tasty sandwich experience. They also offer breakfast sandwiches with chicken, bacon, or sausage. The two sausage sandwiches I've tried were a step up from what you would find at McDonald's. This new location was very clean, the staff have always been very polite, and I've had no negative experiences. read more

This location is very inconsistent. Customer service depends entirely on who you deal with. The managers, in my experience, have not been helpful when I've brought up issues with my meal. They often seem uninterested in resolving problems or providing good customer service. Ironically, some of the other employees who aren't managers have been much friendlier, more professional, and more willing to help. Management should set a better example and ensure customers receive the same level of service every time they visit. I was genuinely excited when this Chick-fil-A opened and it has definitely lived up to expectations. The restaurant is clean, modern, and well maintained. The staff has always been friendly and professional whenever I visit. The food quality is up to par. I ordered the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich with no pickles along with my usual Chick-fil-A Sauce, which is easily one of the best sauces around. We also ordered a few Polynesian sauces, which are a close second favorite. The sandwich came out hot, crispy, and fresh, exactly how it should be. I have seen some mixed reviews, but my experience has been nothing but positive. The good: I did a mobile order for the first time and found it convenient. I didn't realize that they only start preparing your food when you arrive in the mobile pick up spot and inform them what spot number you are in. I tried the spicy deluxe chicken sandwich and was surprised that I could choose my own cheese out of three options. I got a limited edition Keylime pie, frozen lemonade. I was also surprised that you could get it in a diet version with diet lemonade. Their drive-through has multiple ordering stations and has fans and an overhang to protect your car. They also have very nice outdoor seating areas with tables and chairs that look like patio furniture you would have at a private home. There are outdoor umbrellas as well. The plaza is a newer plaza with several options for drive-through food. The sandwich hit the spot. It was crunchy and the fresh vegetables added the freshness the fried chicken needed. I liked how creamy and smooth the lemonade shake was. It's such a unique menu item they have. The worker who gave me my order was very friendly too. The bad: The menu was smaller than I expected. First time visiting this relatively new Chick Fil A. I ordered 3 salads and salad dressings via the Chick Fil A app. Arrival at this Chick Fil A was easy, service was OK, staff was friendly. However, after I returned home and took out one of the salads I ordered, no salad dressing pack. Three salads, no salad dressing packs. Such a bother. My order included no Crispy Bell Pepper and I received what I didn't want and did not received what I wanted. I usually pick up my Chick Fil A orders from Chick Fil A restaurants closer to my house or one in Torrance. I probably won't return to this Chick Fil A anytime soon. read more

I should have returned them because they were cold and had obviously had been sitting out for 20 minutes or more. The chicken is not even grilled !!! They use a machine to put fake grill marks on their gross chicken and sell it as "grilled" and serve it at room temperature !!! They just put skid marks on a boiled or baked chicken breast !!! $10 for a sando with skid marks !!!! Go to El Pollo Loco if your want real grilled chicken. This location seemed brand new. Seemed like a good location near the freeway and a few larger intersecting roadways. The prices at all locations seem to have gone way up. You used to be able to feed a few people for under $25. Now, you're spending upwards of $15-20 for one person, which is getting a bit ridiculous. The interior was nice - probably because it hasn't been open long. The staff was helpful, but didn't strike me as your overly friendly and helpful staff. Food was pretty standard Chick-Fil-A fare. Good as far as fast food goes, but not any kind of ground breaking flavors or experiences. If the staff stepped their game up a bit I think this could be a five star location. read more

My complete experience was that the food was fresh and quality. I feel like the workers need a bit more customer service training and management needs a better grasp on time management. I know and understand the store is new, but there's a level of professionalism to be expected on an open to the public and launched store. Also, the food took an oddly long amount of time to receive through drive through. I was the only customer for a couple minutes, and I wasn't greeted or helped. As the line formed behind me, I was greeted. Questions like if I'd like the meal, what size and if I wanted sauces didn't happen. Felt like I had to hold the workers hand to get to the resolution that's to be desired and expected from an order to go. If I could give 0 stars I would. I know they just opened but if the honeymoon is bad the marriage will have trouble. I missed breakfast by a few minutes, ok but then I couldn't get out of drive thru. With only 2 cars in front of me it took 10 minutes for the cars to get their food. Chick-Fila may need to educate their launch team, first impressions matter.
