Probably the worst Chick-Fil-A of all I've ever been to and Ive been to many, across several states. Not sure what the requirements are to run a franchise, but this one misses the mark. Every time I've ordered, I've gotten home to find items forgotten or not the number ordered. Sometimes your food is lukewarm, bordering on cold. Also, the nighttime manager is probably not the most equipped to do the job. Pointed out that what I received was not my complete order, and had to explain this a few times, before situation rectified. Lastly, for the kids menu items, you should be able to order a cookie versus an ice cream. They cost the exact same, and it's a lot easier to give a child a cookie versus ice cream (think melting in the car). Overall, there is a ton of room for improvement at this franchise, but it's thankfully relatively clean, hence the 2 stars. read more

I've lived in Vallejo for a while now and am so glad I finally discovered that we have a CFA here! I'd suggest skipping the drive-thru. The employees are efficient and the lines moves decently but curbside or pickup are definitely more efficient. Speaking of staff, my minimal interaction with these folks has been nothing but positive. Friendly and on top of it. Rare these days! Food is, well, you know what to expect. Either you like it or you don't. Personally I'm a huge fan and I find the quality and value to my liking. I will say I think the Novato location does an ever so slightly tastier job making the food. Not to say I don't like this location - I'll be back at least once a week now that I know it's here. Recently tried the breakfast menu for the first time. To add insult to injury I then had to wait in line 15 minutes to escape the drive thru. I can't believe I'm writing this right now. This is for THE worst customer service I've ever experienced at any establishment ever. Today, I placed a delivery order on the Mobile App, using Chick-fil-A delivery, not Door Dash, at 11:42am with an estimated delivery time of 12:32pm - 12:47pm. 12:50pm came and I still hadn't received an update on the app or a text. 1:10pm came and I started to question if our order would be arriving so I decided to get dressed and head over to the restaurant. As I arrive, I receive a text stating that our order is on the way. I click on the link in the text and it shows my driver is completing another delivery 11 minutes across town! By the time our food arrives, I know it won't be fresh. I didn't pay a delivery fee and tip to receive soggy fries. I walk in, obviously upset and was greeted politely by a young lady in a red shirt. Shout out to the front end staff for awesome politeness. They get a solid 10, but their general manager, Ignacio E, gets a big fat ZERO! Everyone is super apologetic and empathetic but HIM! I tell him the issue and he says that I could either receive the food that's being delivered or a full refund. There's no way I'm paying for a lack of freshness so I ask for all my money back. He then calls the delivery driver to cancel the delivery and head back. I ordered $57.66 worth of food and there's no way I felt comfortable placing another order without getting credit back first. He then asks me what I want and I say, I'd like some type of compensation for the lack of service, long wait, and inconvenience of having to drive out to the location when I placed a delivery order. He refuses to even try and compensate for anything! He said "you got your money back, there's nothing I can do, you got the money." At least the kid at the register offered me some water! I'm visibly and understandably upset and I tell him I'm going to write a yelp review. I take my phone out to take a pic of his nametag and he turns around and leaves. The staff is super nice (as Chick-fil-A typically is) and I can see they want to help me out and work with me. The manager comes back out and then KICKS ME OUT! I told him I wasn't trying to cause a scene, I was just trying to get my food! I didn't put up a fight, I walked out. I'm not the type to cause a scene, I just wanted to eat. Ignacio, the manager, does NOT know how to deliver customer service. I've never been treated this horribly ever. Even at fine dining establishments, when there's a ridiculous wait or poor quality food, accommodations are met. Not here. Shame on you Ignacio. If it wasn't for my husband long Chick-fil-A then I probably wouldn't have ever come check this place out. I really like the Vallejo location because the service is super fast and the employee's are really nice when taking your order. I like how they come and find you with your order instead of waiting at the counter. I also find it very convenient that you can order from your table on the app instead of going directly to the register in case you wanted to find a seat first. I really enjoy their breakfast chicken sandwich on the muffin along with the crispy chicken salads they have! I can honestly say their chicken salads are one of the best I have considering this place is a fast food. To be honest, up until this point I've had great customer service and it has been amazing. In particular an employee named "Alissa" or "Maya", I believe she had braids. I found myself trying to grab her attention and she looked right at me on two separate occasions. She walked right passed me and right to the table behind me. She then proceeded to have a 20 minute conversation about her personal life and exchanged numbers with some guy. It was honestly annoying to hear them talking about how they want to shop and exchange some kind of services between each other. Being ignored is one thing but to have an employee look right through you to have a conversation with a table behind you was 100% unprofessional and disrespectful. Service has gone tremendously downhill since COVID. I waited 40+ minutes for my curbside pick up order on top of the 25 minute advance time I gave for the order. And even when the app said it was supposed to arrive at my car... I still waited another 20 minutes. By the time my food arrived the fries and nuggets were all cold. When I used to work at the mall in Fairfield this would be my favorite spot to eat at cause I was obsessed with their waffle fries and at the time carrot salad( which is probably a weird thing to say but so what!) Now that it has made its way to Vallejo I have only been here twice...and today I actually went inside for the first time. No more carrot salad....but I've found my new obsession. It's all about the customer service and this location has none. They got my order wrong so i called the store to speak to the manager and got the asst. manager. Long story short the asst. mgr. couldn't help and said the manager would be in after 6pm. Called again at about 9:30pm and long story again she (the store manager) couldn't help. I asked to speak to her district (regional) manager. The store mgr. said she WAS the district manager. I asked what stores she covers in her region and said ONLY Vallejo. I could be wrong as i do not know the management layout for Chick-fil-A but wouldn't that just make her a Store Manager? As i said in the beginning, it's all about customer service and this location has absolutely none. I was driving the kids over to Sacramento Valley Cemetery to drop off some flowers for my mom's birthday & the kids were starving so I decided to swing by and grab them each a meal. We showed up around noon on Saturday, September 7th. I needed to use the bathroom so I told the kids to wait in the car & we can order at the drive thru, but they all decided to follow me inside so we just ordered inside. My 25-year old (illegitimate) son, decided to be helpful & place our order via the app to save us some time since the line seemed kind of long. Unfortunately, his effort wasn't put to good use since it took us way longer to place our orders online than it would've had we stayed in line. The thing that caused even more time was the fact that we couldn't order more than $50 worth of food per transaction & since there were 8 of us, our meal came out to way more than $50 so we had to place two separate orders. Thank goodness we weren't in a hurry. Luckily, even though we took a while to place our orders, it didn't take very long for them to fill our orders. However, they forgot the drinks for our second order so the boys waited about five minutes for those. Food is consistently good & service is quick & friendly as always. My 3-year old daughter & 10-year old niece were pretty happy that this location has an indoor playground. read more

This location doesn't feel completely well thought out considering the long lines there always seems to happen at Chick-Fil-a. The line for the drive thru starts right as you enter the parking long and feels like it gets in the way of thru traffic. The staff work quickly with people taking your order outside, another to pay with and a fairly quick pick up of the food once you get to the actual window. As for the actual meal......the nuggets were standard and good as normal but the fries didn't feel fresh nor were they crispy at all. The lemonade had WAY too much pulp. A bit disappointed to try the new honey pimento cheese chicken sandwich at the Vallejo Chick-fil-A. Could you spare the cheese? If there was a quarter teaspoon of shredded cheese, I'd be shocked. It took three times to get my fries reward and I ended up having to delete the extra fry you charged me for. The poor food runner had to figure out what happened & help me. When you're hungry this is a go to place to get something to eat. It does help to have the app and order online so that way once you drive up or to pick up you just say your name and get what you want about 98% a time the order is correct all the time but I sometimes forget is like sauce which is OK because my food taste great. read more

I usually have excellent customer service here up until my mobile order 20 minutes ago. As a mom of two boys, I utilize the mobile app to other ahead and park, get our food and go. I ordered my usual favorite - chicken nugget meal with fries and a kids chicken nugget meal for my son. But oh no, it was missing my son's kids meal. I had to go inside with my receipt and ask for it but was rudely assisted by two teenage boys at the front. One boy asked me for the bag and I asked why? I mean why would they need to see the bag? I don't have time to go back in the car, get the bag and show them. They treated me as if i was trying to pull a fast one on them and get free food. Isn't that what the receipt is for, which I showed them. One boy told him to calm down and dont trip something like that like I was a nuisance. But Sammie came to the rescue with my son's food. Last weekend, I swung by this Chick Fil A after spending the day at Six Flags Vallejo, which is conveniently located close to this location! We were starving after a long day and placed our pickup orders on the app while still at the amusement park. Once we drove over to the restaurant, we hit "I'm here" and waited while the food was prepared. We got our food very quickly, only about a 10 minute wait which is very short considering there were hundreds of people at the establishment. My nuggets and fries were good, but my peppermint milk shake was amazing! The food was very delicious. I also appreciated that the restaurant was decked out in Christmas decorations! I took off one star because most of the tables for dine in were dirty, but it was understandable for how busy they were.
