I'd never had a Mexican chicken fried steak before -- it's basically a chicken fried steak, but it comes with an order of queso on the side. Something different and unique, and very, very good. Highly recommend it. The sides I had were the okra, tater tots and a roll, all above average. Bottom line, everything we had here was very good. Would highly recommend, and would come again.

There was a great crowd and a lady playing guitar and singing on the outside patio. The employees were very welcoming and helped us with ordering at the counter. We enjoyed checking out the trippy decor while waiting for our pizza. Seemed to be almost all locals as everyone was chatting, laughing and generally enjoying a great time. Pizza came out and it was exactly like we like it. Very thin crispy crust and toppings all the way to the edges. We had the all meat pie and just couldn't finish it. The turkey was fresh and tender, the lettuce crisp, and the side of fruit and its "dip," which was unusual in that it was a solid rather than liquid, was delicious. The first thing a diner sees upon walking in is a case full of small cupcakes, and we often had to choose one for dessert. One of the best things about the place, though, is that the restaurant is in an old house, with tables set up in several rooms, so we often were able to eat in a room we didn't have to share.
