Service is always quick and there is always an employee on the floor wiping down tables, which keeps the lobby nice and clean all the time! This location has a play place (which seems to be phasing out in the newer CFA locations), so our kiddo can play and socialize inbetween bites! One major downfall is the location. It's off of the very busy Indian River intersection where left turns are a thing on the past, lol. You may need to U turn to get to it, or try to squeeze through busy traffic to get in or out depending on the time of day. read more

Huge pain- we are a college team with a large order and we are a state school that is tax exempt. Managers name is Gidget and she refuses to put it through as tax exempt. She even faked a phone call to come back to the front and tell us they do not give anyone tax exempt unless it's a catered order. We have an official paper copy we said they could keep. But now we have been here extra long and not getting anywhere. The other works have been awesome. They are trying to still fill our bags while Gidget fakes phone calls. A rare miss for my favorite fast food, but this location has always struggled. Food is always good but drive thru was awful. Usually, chick Fil As that have it together have staff out with iPads taking and paying for orders to ensure the line moves quickly. At this location it was a bit chaotic and more like McDonald's, as reflected in my wait time. It took me 14 minutes just to get to the order window and 16 to pay and get food. Staff was super friendly and food was good, just almost 20 minutes in the drive thru defeats the purpose. It wasn't any busier than a normal morning, and Lobby was empty. read more

I am not a huge fan of Chick-Fil-A but they do have some delicious options such as the Breakfast Chicken Hash Scramble Bowl and the Grilled Chicken Filet. I usually don't mind coming to this location because the portion sizes are way better than the other ones I have been too in VA Beach. Today the line didn't seem that bad, so we decided to get Chick-Fil-A before we hit the road to Busch Gardens. We waited about 25 minutes in Drive Thru and the line was not long whatsoever. I debated walking inside but the parking lot there was renovated months ago and I wasn't sure whether or not it would be longer or shorter, plus I already put Drive-Thru on my app. They do offer Dine-In so they could have been getting acclimated to having customers in their lobby again. I really enjoy the portion sizes given at this location and the food hasn't disappointed me here. SO DISAPPOINTED!!! Me and my family loves Chick-Fil-A. We went on drive thru and ordered breakfast meal with coffee for the drink. Good thing I thought of adding creamer to my coffee and as I remove the lid of my cup, I saw a COCKROACH floating on my coffee. SO DISGUSTING!!! Luckily I haven't taken a sip yet! We go around the drive thru again to let them know about the situation but they just ask if we want them to give us another cup of coffee. THEY DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE and I said I want a refund several times but they keep on insisting to give me another cup of coffee. Well of course not. Who would want another cup after seeing a cockroach. I'm glad my 2yr old daughter just took a small bite from her hash brown. Who knows, the roaches might be everywhere in their kitchen. So this morning I ordered a number 1 combo and a frosted coffee and cookie for a friend. Growing up in Virginia Beach, there was a standard to how food was served. I don't know what happened, I really want to give ChicFilA the benefit of the doubt, but this service was subpar. Picking up my food at the drive thru, I made sure that it was my order and made sure to ask if this was really the frosted coffee. I came home and the frosted coffee smelled sour and tasted sour. I tried calling them to let them know, but no one picked up. It was 100% disgusting and appalling to see and smell. read more

I have not been to this location in a really long time...like several years. From what I could see it remained the same. I was never a huge fan due to the lunch time mobs, that remains unchanged. My visit was a mid morning on a Saturday. No issues with parking and the lot and walks were free of debris. When busy during weekday lunch they get crushed!!! Parking is horrible, a line is out to the street. They have two drive-thru lanes. The staff interaction when ordering was fantastic. Order placed and received with no errors. Chicken mini's & breakfast sandwich was out in 5 minutes. However, they did not ask about ketchup. This location does not place it out. So that was my single complaint. The food was hot and tasted great. The dining room was tidy and they had staff working on keeping it that way during my breakfast. Someone mentioned a 2015 remodel in a tip. I would return, but again the hassle is too great during peak rush with the small lot. read more

Maybe it's healthier than McD's, maybe it isn't. I've had a cheeseburger here or there and it usually sits in my stomach like a lump for a while. Not so with the Chick-Fil-A number one (hold the pickles) and waffle fries. I prefer to go without the CFA sauce and instead grab a packet of hot sauce to pour on my chicken and then add a waffle fry or two. Yum. They now have *grilled* chicken nuggets in addition to the battered and fried ones. I'll have to try that next time! I mean beyond busy, like there was a boyband member signing autographs at the drivethru window. A few times I went for a late lunch thinking the line would be shorter, but even after 1pm there was still a line of card wrapped around the building. Onetime the line was out into the road, filling up the turn lane...that day I said forget it and kept driving. I don't know what to tell you is the best time to come for lunch. I took a few days before I decided to write this review, I called about catering and doing a fair swap of our respective businesses or if they'd accept my company's special coupons as payment and the young man, Dominic, I spoke to was very polite and said he would "pass my info along and someone would reach out one way or the other" (his words), cool! That was on a Thursday and so I gave them the weekend and even Monday and never heard a thing, so I called on Tuesday and this is where the ball was dropped. First, the lady who answered the phone, I started to explain my situation and I mentioned Dominic ("He's standing right here, would you like to talk to him?"), actually, no, I wanted clarity but as soon as I started back to try and gain said clarity, she quickly passed me off to Dominic like she was too busy to deal with me. Dominic was again very polite but at this point I got the general feeling of two things, one he'd had been passed a "hot potato" unexpectedly and two, he hadn't "passed my info along" like he said he would. I reminded him of who I was and he quickly asked to hold on and when he got back on the phone, he said my offer for a fair swap was being declined as "we've already had our holiday party" and "sorry about that" and quickly hung up. Honestly, the feeling I have writing this right now is the same feeling I had right after he hung up and it wasn't a good feeling. I am a grownup, and I can accept "no", but I was a bit dismayed how the events transpired and the nonchalance of how I was treated. I chose Indian River as it is close to my house and would've been easier to get to for my business's Christmas party but I called another Chic-fil-a location`, spoke with a lovely young lady named Heather who assured me that would not happen at her store so I gave them my business and fyi, they called me back within an hour! I can't brag enough about this Chick-fil-A!!! Seriously it's unbelievable. First, their efficiency is phenomenal. I've never waited more than five minutes in the drive through even when there is a long line! They have an amazing system set up where employees take your order outside and give you the option to pay with card, another hands you your receipt, and by the time you pull up to the window, your food is ready!!! The customer service here is incredible. The employees are genuinely kind and helpful. I always feel so welcome. Whether inside or outside, the service is amazing. I also of course always have to brag on the food at Chick-fil-A. What do they put in their chicken to make it so perfect every time?! Someone please get me that recipe ASAP. I can't say there's anything wrong with this chicken shack but I don't feel right giving it 5 Stars just because of the popularity aspect. I can't eat this stuff every day because my stomach hates it at times. It is tasty and filling for the price. I always think that one meal won't be enough food with just a sandwich and some waffle fries... Then I attack the bag of food and it's gone within a matter of seconds. I would give this chik-fil-a a five star rating. But we just went through drive thru and our poor associate who helped us wasn't allowed to wear his hood. It is currently 45 degrees (F) outside and we could see his breath. I asked him why he didn't put on his hood in this cold weather and he said that he wished he could. I understand the purpose of uniformity, but in this kind of weather I feel like it would be more effective to keep your associates warm and not catching a cold while they stand outside to serve customers. On a much better note, Jacob was absolutely wonderful and he even clarified a portion of our order which we appreciated very much. Do I really have to say anything about Chick-fil-a? I feel like they're the golden standard when it comes to customer service in the fast food business. I've always had good luck with this particular location as far as food and customer service. My only gripe with this place is that it's right on Indian River road and the parking is small in ratio with the business that do. The drive-thru is fairly fast for all the cars that pile up and the inside is almost always clean. One night I was getting off from work and I was still in uniform(I'm a paramedic) and the manager on duty came up to the cashier and said that the meal was on her. I could easily wake up earlier and go to harbour view, Suffolk location and be satisfied but your location is more convenient.
