If you drive a big truck, be prepared to maneuver like a pro if it's packed. Inside was busy, but there was zero heavy grease smell lingering in the air. You could easily grab lunch here and go about your day without smelling like a literal fryer. Plus, the crowd was surprisingly chill. Nobody gave off that chaotic, sketch energy you get at a KFC or Wingstop where you feel like you have to lock your truck doors three times just to walk inside safely. It's a really calm environment, which is awesome if you hate loud crowds. Pickup took less than 5 minutes. After a 15-minute drive home, the chicken was still loud-crunchy and insanely crispy. Puts fast-food chains to absolute shame. Fair warning: my first drumstick was a massive sodium bomb that almost made me rage quit and leave a two star review. The fries are covered in the same seasoning and so other than pickles (which don't really help) you have zero break in salt. The restaurant itself is in a perfect place to have a busy atmosphere. We are outside and it was really peaceful. Parking is a task as they have HEB right in the lot with other great places to eat. There is no service here as it is more of order and wait at the counter but as long as it's not a busy day that's is no worry. Overall I think it is clear I will not be back.
