I have been to many Chick-fil-A locations and I would say this is one of the best in Southern California. What I enjoy here is the outstanding customer service that you receive as a customer. The employees here are a key factor that makes the Chick-fil-A experience as good as it gets. Each time that I have decided to eat here the food has been top notch. I usually order the #4 which is the spicy deluxe sandwich. This combo includes the sandwich, a medium soft drink, and a medium fry. If soda is not your thing I would highly recommend the lemonades that they make here daily! The location is in a accessible location right off of beach boulevard in a decent size plaza. There is a good amount of parking due to the fact that their are restaurants that surround this Chick-fil-A. If you are in a rush and cannot find the time to sit down and eat your meal the drive thru is just as good. Very quick and friendly. Whether you are eating here by yourself, or with family and friends there is a guarantee that your experience will be a positive one. I ordered curbside. The wait wasn't bad but my order was wrong. I ordered two deluxe chicken sandwiches but they gave me one spicy and one regular. They also did not give me the order of chicken strips that I ordered. I called for a refund but was told that I needed to go back to the restaurant and couldn't not process the refund through the app. This location is 20 mins away from me through heavy traffic. The food here is just okay. At the Tustin location the workers will ask you for refills and bring out extra dipping sauces and the like if you ask for it. Chicken sandwiches done well! Drive thru line was pretty long during noon on a Saturday. Went by decently quick. Yelp check-in gets you a free iced coffee. Spicy Chicken Sandwich - $3.79 - Good fried chicken patty. Spicy level was about a 3. Needed to use the hot sauce to get a kick. Come naked, no lettuce or tomato or cheese. Definitely needs the toppings because it gets boring after awhile. Grill Chicken Sandwich - $4.99 - Chicken was tender and juicy. Good healthier alternative. Waffle Potato Fries, large - $2.09 - Such a rip off. They filled my fries half full in the container. I did not check until I left and was so mad. They are good but soggy. None were crispy. Original Iced Coffee - $2.59 - Thought it would be a ice black coffee but it was premixed with sweeteners. Pretty sweet and tasted like a mocha latte. Vanilla Iced Coffee - $2.59 - Same as above but vanilla latte. Chick Fil A sauce is pretty good. The other stuff were basic. Pricey for the size and toppings you get but still good sandwiches. This morning's drive-thru experience was particularly frustrating. I ordered: vanilla iced coffee, a bagel with cream cheese, a chocolate chunk cookie & a side salad (my breakfast and lunch). Immediately after ordering each item, a "will that be all" was blurted put by whoever was taking my order. ME: "I'll have a bagel with cream cheese". GIRL: "Will that be all"? ME: "And a vanilla iced coffee". GIRL: Will that be all"? ME: a side salad" Girl: "Will that be all"? Wow....really? Give a second to spit it all out. Someone needs a little more training..... I love Chic-fil-a and At this location on Beach Blvd near Target, the food is always very good and the service is pretty fast considering how busy they get. I typically order a salad or a fruit cup and use the drive up or curb side pickup. Tonight I used curb side pickup and ordered a fruit cup. Unfortunately, the staff at this location neglects to add silverware to my bag every single time. If I'm in my car when I order my food, and my order includes a salad or fruit up, you should automatically include silverware, or at the very least, ask me if I will be eating in my car and whether I need silverware. Because the answer is yes, I need a fork for my green salad or fruit cup. I'm tired of having to park and go in to get a fork. Otherwise, this is a great place to eat. Update on 5/1/20 and sorry for repeat review above. I still love CFA food but this location seems to have a consistent problem in getting everything I ordered into my bag. As noted above, they were consistently forgetting to include a fork when I ordered a salad or fruit cup. Another time, they left out my cookie. And then a few days ago, I placed a $30 order through the CFA app for curbside pickup. I ordered 3 sandwiches, fries, fruit cups and cookies. I normally don't write bad reviews but after my experience today I want to let the management of this location know so it won't happen to another customer. After waiting in a pretty long drive thru line I finally got my order and it was all stuff into one bag. I ordered 4 sandwiches, 6 nuggets, wedges, and there were a total of 7 sauces. When the girl handed me the bag at the window she had to hand it to me with two hands because the bag would obv tip on her if she used one hand. Anyways when I got home I got out of the car and grabbed the bag and of course it ripped and everything fell onto the ground. Please tell me why it's necessary to stuff everything into one bag??? When you can't close the bag because it's over flowing then you should use a second bag. It's common sense! The wedges were not salvageable but at least the sandwiches were in a separate bag. I am forever emotionally attached to Chick-fil-A. Jacksonville, NC the land of the devil dogs, my son around 5 at that time discovered that these chicken nuggets were better than McDonalds. Chick-fil-A opened and the entire town took turns trying these new chicken place. My son did not go back to Mc Donalds for chicken nuggets again. Now...on to this location. I've been coming here since it was rebuilt and became Chick-fil-A. The customer service is among the best if not the best of all fast food places. The food is so good. This Chick-fil-A is one of the worst designed and ran that I have been to. I was told there would be a 10 minute wait for nuggets which were ready for chicken minis but if I wanted nuggets without the bread it would be a 10 minute wait. I took this as the typical lazy response of someone who didn't want to do extra work. Once I arrived at the window I was not greeted , nobody was friendly , nobody said my pleasure at any interaction.
