Probably good like every other chick-fil-a, but they did not take gift cards, which we wanted to use.

Fast friendly service my new lunch spot! It's a express location so it doesn't have the full menu but everything is fresh and taste great!

We were escorted to our table by our lovely host, and when we arrived at our table in the back of the restaurant, there was a cute "happy birthday" table card waiting for us. This was incredibly thoughtful and a nice touch for our celebration dinner. Also, I love how this restaurant is decorated - the art work, the furniture, and plants - all come together to create a welcoming, cozy, warm atmosphere for any dining experience. I also love how the menu continuously rotates and highlights fresh produce from local suppliers. We both ordered a different dish and shared, plus we had some leftovers, so the portions are very generous. We also tried some of the oysters with vinaigrette they were fresh and delicious. To conclude our dinner, we were gifted with a DELIGHTFUL banana pudding with a scoop of ice cream and a candle to make a wish (though our wish for a wonderful meal and dining experience was throughly satisfied already ) Thanks again for a great time bellflower!

The salad was fresh and well dressed - simple but good. The second starter was sardine tin. Very very good. Not overly fishy and the garnishes served with it were perfect. For mains which are enough to share, one was the trout! Absolutely well seasoned and crispy. It is served whole and butterflied. We changed the side to the house vegetable. OMG these sautéed garden veggies were the best! The other main was a Japanese curry dish. Here is why the five starting dropped to a four. It was just ok. We would not order again. For dessert we had the bread pudding- another star for the night! To the owner, terrific staff. Everyone we engaged in, were positive and knowledgeable. They are a great team! Looking forward to a second visit!

I love a good salad, so I was excited to finally check out sweetgreen while in Ann Arbor recently…read more Nate and I chose this location for its proximity to another spot we wanted to visit (York) as well as its available parking lot vs. the downtown location. I had browsed the menu a bit beforehand, and decided I wanted the caramelized garlic steak protein plate. They also have bowls (greens + grains base) and salads. Unfortunately they were all out of the steak and it was going to be a 10 minute wait, and they were also out of the roasted sweet potatoes so I ended up kind of building my own bowl with mixed greens, rice, blackened chicken, tomatoes, mushrooms, broccoli, and pesto vinaigrette. I liked that they mixed up the bowl for me since it can be tough to mix in those small to-go containers. They also asked if I wanted light, regular, or heavy dressing - I said regular, but would probably go light next time. We also got a piece of bread on the side. They have a designated outdoor seating area by the parking lot, which was great for the nice day. I loved my bowl and everything was super fresh and very flavorful. It was also a huge portion! We definitely could have split one bowl. I will say that it was super salty. Nate liked his shroomami bowl even though we both thought the kale could have been massaged a bit to make it softer. I'm hoping sweetgreen will expand to Grand Rapids - we do have CoreLife but I'd love to have this option too!

We were here in December so the patio wasn't open but looks roomy with many picnic tables. We opted to sit at the bar because that's usually where we get personal with brew pubs we love to discover. We always search local brews when traveling and 9/10 times the bartender will greet us, ask if we've been there, make recommendations or tell us a bit about the brewery style. Not here. I'm not sure the bartender ever even made eye contact and pretty sure he wanted to be there even less than he wanted us to be there. We did get a few beer samples by request, but no recommendations, he didn't ask what we thought and he made us feel very unwelcome right from the start. However, once that bartender was relieved the new bartender was chatty and friendly to the new customers. We had finished our beers and meal by that time and just needed to cash out. So I would say maybe it's just that one employee. We had the pretzels. Kudos to the pretzel bread-- it was delicious. Beer cheese was pretty good, as was the mustard. We asked about the menu and what he recommends (still trying to be friendly and get him to warm up). He recommended the special menu, so we ordered the Blackened Salmon sandwich. It was okay/average. Fries were cold. We ordered the Table Talk beer and I enjoyed it. I'd say that the beer was the best part of the whole experience. Overall I'm glad we tried it but we wouldn't go back. If the bartender had been more welcoming and interested in sharing a bit more about the concept, we would give it a second try when we head out there again. It's always good to try other food items and beers, but the vibe doesn't warrant a second try. I can understand if a place is busy, but we were there at 2pm on a Saturday and were two of four at the bar and he didn't look to be super busy with the restaurant as a whole. It's always so disappointing when service falls so short on something that could be such a unique experience. Three stars for the beer and pretzel.

My biggest issue was with their food was their flavors and seasoning. Everything here was bland and under seasoned... I guess the place is more for health nuts than average joe. The noodle dishes were beyond disappointing. Needs major work and overhaul in the flavor department. Poke - DO NOT get it with the sushi rice. Their sushi rice is very mushy and does injustice to the dish. Instead get it with regular white rice. miso soup - should be called green onion soup with the amount of the sliced green onions in the dish. Didn't have much of miso flavor either. When I got to the restaurant there were exactly 5 patrons in the building my friend, and 4 people sitting at a table by the door. My friend approached me at the door we hugged and returned to our table. Once we sat we instantly started a conversation and waited patiently for the waitress to come to our table. Again, the restaurant was not busy and usually in most places I've gone once all the people that are dining arrives the server usually returns. This unfortunately did not happen. We sat for roughly 20 minutes drinking water and reviewing the menu. There were some other people that came into the establishment and sat at the table next to us.The server took drinks to the table by the door which those people were already there and then proceeded to take the order of the people that sat next to my table despite coming in after my friend and I. Needless to say my friend and I left. Because the environment started to feel a bit racist. We sat there extremely patiently not being addressed one time after I joined my friend just to be blatantly ignored for the server to attend to only the white patrons in the building.

I sat down and waited for my order, which was done in under five minutes. I took it home to eat and was very surprised at the generous size of the sandwich. The meat was flavorful. The tzatziki dressing was just the right amount. It wasn't dripping out of the bottom yet there was plenty of it. There was room to sat down and eight in as there are booths and a couple of small tables, but like I said, I was in a hurry. The bread was soft and overall, it was a very delightful sandwich . I would go back again and try other items. You should too!
