This place is legit for Korean Fried Chicken. We got some chicken to-go with sauce on the side as we were afraid it might be too spicy for our son. We all loved the chicken! My only complaint about getting sauce on the side. There's not enough sauce to dip the chicken into. However, they gave us two containers, but it was so dang good I ran out of that sauce real quick! We'd definitely come back again soon! Next time, I'll order sauce on top of the Korean Fried Chicken.

Bomb fried chicken...I guess you can say type of dak dak Korean fried chicken spot. It's bomb!!!! Come here a good amount but abstain at times so I don't kill it for myself... FRY SHICKEN BISS!!!! I have never dined in so Can not comment on Inhouse service. Cashier always seems nice. Descent sized dining room. Clean. Good food.

Staff is always welcoming. This place does get busy especially with take out orders. Local mom and pop business that pushes out great food and service in a timely manner. Beef Kimbob- 10/10 Nice appetizer before getting your chicken meal. Chicken Box 3- 10/10 Sweet and spicy sauce on the side is my go to. Really enjoy how crunchy their chicken is.

    - Korean pepper - it is delicious. Not spicy and not too sweet. It is a good mix and has this good gooey sauce to it. Love it - garlic pepper - this wasn't a hit for me. It was a bit sweet and didn't really taste the garlic honestly. - kimbap: yes it's fresh but ehhh pass. Had better - fries: for the portion of fries versus price is not worth it. It's enough for one person but for 5 dollars - I was expecting a bit more Korean chicken in LA is better but at the same time for the location and not going to La - this place isn't bad. It's a good local option. The only major thing is to only get wings or legs cuz the whole chicken means whole chicken. I saw pieces that I wasn't sure of so unless you actually want a whole chicken chopped up then go for it. Second, service is great and super nice

If you're looking for the best Korean fried chicken in town, Chicken Day in La Cañada Flintridge is the place to go! My girlfriend and I visit regularly, and we love trying different dishes on their menu. Recently, we tried their classic fried Korean chicken, and let me tell you--OMG! It's hands down the best fried chicken I've ever tasted. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, incredibly juicy on the inside, and didn't have that heavy, greasy feel you get at other places. It was pure perfection. Their seasoned and sauced chicken options are amazing too, but this classic fried chicken really blew us away. Everything is always so fresh, and the service is beyond friendly and welcoming every time we go. Plus, the restaurant itself is spotless, which we really appreciate. Don't skip the pickled radish--they make it in-house, and it's the bomb. Most of their combos also come with a side of rice and a fresh salad, which is such a nice touch. Honestly, we can't get enough of this place. Highly, highly recommend it!

Food and service is 5 stars. A good place to enjoy after school or after sports on the weekend for a hearty bowl of chicken and spicy rice cakes. I like the tuna rice bowls and spicy rice cakes. The restaurant is clean and staff is very friendly.

I always come here whenever I visit because It was so close to the place I was staying. It still did not disappoint. The price was reasonable and the chicken was yummy. So tender and falls off the bone easily. People here are nice and K-pop background music is always a bop.

Came for a snack and what better than Korean fried chicken. While we didn't expect much, I was pretty happy with what we ordered. We got 12 pc drumstick with 6 original and 6 in their garlic spicy sauce. Along with that, two orders of wedge fries, and a gimbop (tuna). To start, the gimbop came out and it was decently made. Tightly packed and filled with different ingredients. The sauce that came with it wasn't very spicy and could have done more with Gochujung, but oh well. The vinegared daikon that came with the chicken was nicely done. The wedge fries were decently fried too. But the main show stealer was the chicken. I started with the original and the crispy on the exterior and then the moistness and full-flavor on the meat was spectacular. The garlic spicy is pretty similar, but the sauce didn't really hit the same. I think mainly because it tasted like a Mae Ploy dip with garlic flavoring. The chicken wasn't bad still, but the sauce left me wanting a more unique or spicier sauce. All in all, it was a fair surprise to have chicken that nice and we wouldn't mind visiting again for more in the future.

Each order of chicken comes with a side of pickled radish cubes. Love it!

Everything tasted very good and the pork and rice soup was definitely the stand out. It was rich, flavorful and very satisfying. We only receive four kinds of banchan but they were all tasty especially the kimchee. The service was fine. It was nothing amazing but we had no complaints and everything went smoothly. Parking was horrible but honestly that was expected for Glendale. Luckily we were able to grab a parking spot just as another car was pulling out and since it was a Sunday parking was free which was a nice bonus. Overall, we had a very enjoyable meal and would definitely go back when in the area. The food was delicious, portions were good and the pork and rice soup alone is worth ordering.

I also enjoyed mine! He got beef bulgogi in a hot stone with cheese and egg. The cheese and egg was an add on for an extra couple of dollars but it made the food soooo much better! I ordered an Army Stew that I always order and it was filled with sausages, kimchi, ramen noodle, rice cakes, beans, bacon, and spam! It was so good with rice and since it was a rainy day yesterday, it was perfect. The place is clean and nice. It has a very cozy feeling. The banchan is yummy but they only serve a little at a time but I was able to ask for more and they were more than happy to give me some. We finished the night with two Hotteoks, and it was so good! It was warm, nutty, and it had a chocolate drizzle on top. The server made sure to ask us for any allergies when we ordered it which I really appreciated. It was a good dinner and we would definitely come back again!

This place is basic, nothing fancy and there's really no ambiance or special feelings associated with it - it's just an old-looking sit-down and serve establishment. The few people sitting to eat were random; I was there to order to-go. After asking what was the patrons favorite dish(es) the lady quickly pointed out the most expensive items on the menu. Of course she did. My eyes rolled but I was polite and decided to order something I recognized and wouldn't hate myself for in the morning. Chicken Teriyaki Can of coke My bill came to $34.23 Ahem! What? Why does a plate of Chicken Teriyaki cost so much? And why $3 for a can of coke? I just cannot wrap my head around it. This isn't a fancy restaurant at all! In fact, it's as basic as it gets with no ambiance or warmth. I cannot recommend this place at all. The food was pretty poor and nowhere near on par with classy eats that try to reach that $$ figure. Montrose is certainly a place where there are people with money and no taste...looking for reasons to spend it willy-nilly. I thought I took a photo of the plate when I got home. Guess not. Avoid if you aren't made of money and prefer well-prepared meals, not quick, mushy fast-foodish stuff.

When I arrived I was seen from way in the back but never greeted. I walked back after a couple minutes passed and the lady asked me how many and I said "1" and she said sit anywhere. Ok... so now I got a seat and a menu. I gave my order pretty quickly and it came out fast. I didn't get checked on much at all but the kimchi beef tofu soup was good, a little on the plain watery side, and the sides themselves were ok. Total price was $16.99, ~$18 with tax. As mentioned by others, don't expect BCD tofu house here - but for being outside of K town this place is just OK. The inside is nothing special but it gets the job done and it's cozy. It is in a Vons shared shopping plaza so I wasn't expecting anything past basic. It's always a good sign when you have other Koreans eating at a Korean restaurant. As I was leaving there were 5 Korean patrons newly seated and seemed like it wasn't their first time. Overall Food = 3.5 Service = 2 Ambiance = 3 I might return but there are likely better places in the area worth checking out that have better service and quality.
