We ate inside and the food was pretty good. The customer service was terrible. No idea who because they weren't wearing a name badge, but she was rude from the start before I even started talking. She was talking so rudely to us even when I was being polite back. We went to sit down and wait for our order and the place was decently clean. Our order number was called and I was standing to get it and they called it again but louder, which I thought was rude because the place was almost empty and I sat right in front of the registers where they could see me. OMG! I wanted chicken livers and gizzards, and was told at the drive thru speaker it would take 6 minutes which was fine because I knew it would take that that long to get to the window. Well 10 minutes later I got to the window and was told it would be another 8 minutes for my food to be prepared. Some 12 minutes later they brought my food out to the yellow line. So let's count the time, 18 minutes to cook livers and gizzards? Well I can tell you from experience, it does not take that long to cook any of those items! OK, NEVER AGAIN!!!!! I purchased two orders of chicken several months ago with a side of Coleslaw and Jalapeño peppers after waiting in line for 30 minutes.I Found no peppers in my order even though I was charged for them. The chicken was undercooked and smelled sour. The coleslaw was soured. We threw $20+ of food into the garbage . Today I thought I would try them again. I arrived at the store about 1:15 pm and to my surprise the drive through was empty. I ordered a 3piece chicken meal with coleslaw and a 3 piece fish meal with slaw and Jalapeno peppers. Arrived home and no Jalapeño peppers. The chicken was small ,hard and over cooked. The fish was also overcooked on the thinner parts and hard. None had any flavor except the coleslaw which was very good and fresh... SO, into the garbage most of it went. Terry the cashier didn't take my husband $100 bill but in the middle of us enjoying our meal another customer went in order her food and paid with a $100 bill. Yikes! Came to chicken express's drive thru. My order consisted of 2 spicy 4 piece strip dinners, fries, rolls and a side of corn nuggets for $25. I got home and my strips were cold and too crispy, I was missing a fry and my corn nuggets were also cold like they have been sitting there. I was upset because I had already drove home before I noticed. I called and the night manager. Mark answered. The conversation lasted less than a 2 minutes because he was so rude. I explained my problem and he asked me again what the problem was. As I began to recite my receipt, he stopped me to say, "Don't yell at me" - mind you I was not yelling - I did speak louder bc when I explained the first time, he made me explain again. After I said, I'm not yelling. He argued with me by saying I was yelling. He never attempted to fix my issue. He never apologized. He escalated the interaction. All things that you shouldn't do. I have never experienced customer service this bad. The only mistake I made was choosing this establishment for dinner.
