Rude rude rude employee! I ordered the Cuban chop and I asked for my base to be lettuce. As the website, let me choose and he said that the Cuban chop comes with rice and I must get rice. And he made it that way when I showed him. The website allows me to change the base to lettuce he decided to ignore me and make noises like he doesn't care what I'm saying. He's extremely rude, and I am extremely dissatisfied. I've come to this location. Plenty of times before, and they always seem to be very rude. Wow! First time coming here and I was impressed! The place was very clean a bright. I was recommended by one of the staff to have the Bazooka Chop-Chop, which I was told was their most popular dish. Boy, was the staff member right! The flavorful combinations were very well done! I topped it off with their mustard curry sauce, too. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl with yellow rice, peppers, red onion, and corn. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I love the variety of toppings available. The menu offers several choices for all dietary preferences. It is perfect for the place for the whole family to grab take-out or dine in for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant! I hadn't had chicken kitchen in years, but when I saw this location was newly open, it suddenly brought about a craving for it. Chicken kitchen is a lighter healthy quick service option that everyone can find something they will enjoy. The small bowl is very hearty and enough for two meals. I got the Mexican chop chop which is essentially a taco on rice. Great flavoring of the chicken. I got it with the fresh salsa but do wish that it had a bit more flavor/lime or something. But overall, will be back! Plus, it's right across the street from Trader Joe's which is a major plus. read more

This new CK location is great! Before there was Fresh Kitchen, Bolay, Beehive and Chipotle.. there was Chicken Kitchen and I'm glad they're finally adding more locations back to the area. Everything at this location is brand new and super clean but still with the same great taste. They even have a few tables available for outside dining This was actually my second visit to this new location which is conveniently located by my house and gym. It's in a great plaza with lots of local faves (like Sweeter Days)! Their fresh simple ingredients make this "fast" food spot a very healthy alternative to other drive-thru options which I love. I wish they had a rewards program because I feel like I'm going to be here a lot. Everyone talks about their curry sauce but personally... the garlic cilantro is where it's at! Even though I'm kind of picky about the quantity of ingredients, the staff were very accommodating to my requests and were all very friendly. If you haven't been to this new Chicken Kitchen location yet, highly recommend a stop in. You'll probably see me there! read more

I had the Bazooka Chop which was not bad. Reminds me of a poke bowl, but with chicken rather than salmon. What left a bad impression was the cashier's verbal fighting with the couple after us. The cashier lady was not in a good mood, but you have to separate that from your job. She copped an attitude and after the couple left, the workers talked it over and unfortunately I heard her say "f.a.g." Presumably in reference to the gay couple. Highly offensive. I ordered 2 bowls for lunch with a promotion of Buy 1 get 1 free. On my recipe there is 4 bowls listed and I only have two. I contacted the store and the guy just says he doesn't understand. I've been to this specific chicken kitchen 3-4x within the last 2 months. First 3 times there was 2 workers and they were extremely short and rude with me. They charged me for a large bowl when i got a small one. They give you the smallest portion of chicken for the bowl. They basically cut up the chicken breast into chunks and if the extra pieces don't fit they throw it away. Stingy as heck. I went last week because I wanted to see if other people were working there, and there was 3 different employees. They were super nice, upbeat and energetic and didn't throw away extra chicken. Extremely generous with portions. I only recommend this place if those last 3 employees are there. Other than that, prepare to waste your money, given attitude, and charged for every grain of rice. read more

Terrible food for the price! Chicken very dry and overcooked. Salad greens old. Lousy ambience. So bright inside it could be an operating room. Almost $19 for a chicken breast, tiny lettuce salad, and a small serving of rice, and a a bottle of water. And then they ask you to tip them, even though they don't do anything but throw the food at you at the counter. Just not worth it. I wonder how they stay in business ! read more

I love chicken kitchen, so when one opened up close to me I was very excited. I went here at 8:15 one night and they were closed despite the hand written sign on the door stating they closed at 8:30. When I knocked on the door they ignored me, didnt look at me once. So I came back two days later. Service was pretty bad, the employees kept chatting after I walked in, they didn't greet me, I had to greet them for them to take my order. They lettuce they used was romaine instead of the traditional iceberg lettuce, which was disappointing. They don't give water cups only bottles of water. The pita was rock hard and stale, when I asked for another one the man argued back and said they were all like that... like it was normal to serve stale pita bread. He showed me the open bin where the pita are kept. They should be stored in plastic so they dont get stale. I wont be coming here again. read more
