The service was good, but I really wish there were more meal options (e.g. 1 base, 1 protein) and more signage to show what each food item is. Overall, I think the food here is a little overpriced for what you get. There is not much of a variety to choose from in terms of their bases and mix ins (rice, hummus, vegetables, etc) and their proteins were a little bland. I got the spicy chicken which was not very spicy and overall seemed to lack seasoning. My girlfriend got the braised meat, and I also thought it was a little bland. For nearly $20 dollars per bowl, I would expect more. And as Mediterranean bowl restaurant, I think the natural comparison is Cava (I realize the nearest Cava is in Plantation). In my opinion, Cava has better variety and flavor with Rice only beating Cava's portion size. read more

Found this place on Uber Eats and decided to give it a try and I'm so happy I did. I ordered the chicken & pollo bowl. Everything was flavorful, fresh and delicious. It has shredded chicken that was seasoned to perfection and slow cooked chicken that was delicious as well. The lemon infused oil was fire! The hummus was yummy, fresh. Big portion. I will definitely be ordering again. I gave them a 4 out of 5 because there wasn't avocado and it was replaced with lettuce. I also got a cup of brisket which was melt in your mouth! read more

Terrible service and experience. Imagine I have fasted all day long and find a place that I think will satiate the craving. Pay $50 for an order and when I have to open my fast, I arrive to pick up but order has an issue related to my # and entirely out of my control. The clerk berates and argues with you to the point where you have to say "hey, I've been fasting all day can you just give me my order?" He hands over the order but continues to be argumentative instead of using his problem solving skills. Horrible Do Not recommend for group orders at all! My office did a order almost $500 and not only did they leave out an entire order upon delivery but they falsely advertised the chicken breast and when I went to exchange or get something else they completely denied. I asked for store manager and they said there is NO MANAGEMENT at this location. So the staff is pretty much making their own rules and bias discretion on who/which customers get quality customer service. I'm very disappointed with this place as they are reputable but this location is a flop. read more

I really wish there was a location closer to where I live in Plantation! I was in the area and needed to grab dinner before going home. While browsing food options I saw Rice was nearby in Las Olas and I could place an order online! Parking Tip: I parked at the Las Olas City Centre Garage, and drove to the side of the building closer to E Las Olas Blvd and made my way down the side stairs. Directly across the street is YOLO and just a few feet to the right from the stairwell exit is Rice! To get back to the garage, enter the lobby around the corner and head to the elevators on the right. There is a desk attendant if you get lost. This location is beautiful and well-designed giving it a fresh vibe. My meal was being packed when I walked in and I waited a few minutes which gave me the chance to snap some pics. I got the vegetarian bowl with falafel, roasted veggies and black lentils. It was so satisfying, filling, and delicious. I crave these bowls every so often and I know if there was a location closer to me I would have one at least once a week! Very affordable price as well. If you are looking for an alternative to the typical mixed veg and grain bowl, give Rice a try, I promise you'll love it. read more

In the look for a quick lunch, we opted for "Rice." I had always passed by this place and never thought to try it. I was so surprised! I ordered a lunch platter with Sirloin. It was delicious! The meat was juicy and tender. It was accompanied by bastami rice and a Greek salad. The build your own bowl options are great--the braised beef was delicious and I really enjoyed the whipped honey feta. I came here for brunch and my chicken platter was amazing. The staff was patient and made great recommendations. You really get your moneys worth, the chicken is cooked very well and seasoned deliciously. I was not feeling too well when I first tried them and that may have affected my opinion, but hoping to try it again as I was not impressed with the actual flavor of the food. I wanted something fresh and well seasoned since I was not feeling too good but I am willing to try again even if it's to try their juices/smoothies. Visited Rice for lunch yesterday and was very impressed. The interior is open, bright and airy with plenty of seating. To speed up the ordering process you don't have to stand in the same line if you're not ordering a bowl. Anyone custom making something goes to the left and anyone getting a standard menu item can order directly from the register. Staff were quick and super friendly. I decided to order a custom protein bowl with basmati rice, sriracha tomato hummus, Greek yogurt sumac, honey nut feta, braised beef chick peas, tomatoes and avocado topped with spicy sumac sauce. The flavors were on point. The braised beef was excellent and the honey nut feta was so good. I loved all of the different options for the bowl and there is an extensive menu of kabob platters, salads, wraps, and sides. This is a great addition downtown for a quick heathy meal. I'd love to see a location open up out west in Plantation or Sunrise. read more

Fast casual Mediterranean finally made its way to Las Olas. Wraps, salads, kabob platters, greens and grain bowls. It's good not great in my opinion, but nice to have on the strip. Located just off of Las Olas, this Chipotle style Mediterranean restaurant is a delectable delight. Dine in or take out. There is also outdoor seating. They have bowls and platters. The chicken kabob is amazing. There is a platter that comes with choice of protein, salad, and delicious basmati rice. There is also a "special" that includes a smaller portion of protein, salad, rice, and a triangle of pita with an ice cream scoop of humus. Every dish is around $15. Enjoy. read more

I got the build your own bowl which was pretty pricey coming at around $17-$18 after tax. However I did like the amount of protein choices and they were generous with the protein amount. Compared to cava, the toppings were less appealing because they were uncooked and unseasoned. I would recommend the platters over the build your own because the portions are twice as much and they cost less than the bowls.
