Loved this place since it opened I come once a week. I watched "the manager" walk from the kitchen to the side of the register with the same gloves. Picked up her cellphone used it and go back in the kitchen started dancing holding onto the phone orders rack then to pack orders. I asked the cashier did she change her gloves? Cashier cops an attitude (I'm assuming knew I've never seen her) started yelling did she change her gloves? "she's my manager!! we always change our gloves". I watched this woman not change her gloves. I told the cashier no need to take offense when you're not eating the order or paying for it I am!!! Who wants to be sick because employees aren't practicing proper sanitary in a food environment. I'll be driving back to the Redondo location where I'm always treated with respect!! read more

This new gem is more of an order-and-go spot than a sit-down restaurant since the place is really small and only has about 2-3 counter stools while you wait. Ordering is super convenient with their tablets--you can walk right up, place your order, and earn rewards without waiting in line. First of all, I'm a maison-aholic! I truly love chicken maison and eat it quite often. I frequent 2 locations and was excited that this one opened much closer to home. I ordered the maison salad, one of my faves, and there were a few things different from the usual locations. 1. The rice: it was not the same rice. Their rice is so damn delicious and was extremely disappointed when I saw and tasted different rice. 2. The chicken: I had to fish around my salad looking for chicken and the few pieces I found were small. The usual amount of chicken in this salad is more than plenty. I usually share the chicken with my pooch and both he and I were left annoyed. 3. Dressing: ok, so nothings wrong with the dressing but I did ask for extra dressing and there was none! It wasn't free either. Sure, it doesn't cost that much for extra dressing and I'm not crying about the amount, it's not like they just give it away for free either. The positive: I liked how much cheese and croutons there was and a lot of salad than the usual. Overall, I'm not sure if I will return to this location. I'm a bit apprehensive about getting other plates and having them not taste the same just to be disappointed all over again. Oh, and they are a cashless location. No big deal, but a heads up would've been nice, I ordered my food by calling it in. I usually pay with my card 99% of the time. When I picked up my food was the 1% that I wanted to pay with cash, go figure. When I arrived to pay for my food I pulled out cash, and it was for the exact amount. As I try to hand it, a woman standing next to the cashier said that they are cashless and went to the sign on the counter to show me. I stay quiet in awe at what was happening. Who doesn't take cash, I thought to myself. Then, before I could say anything the woman says as a matter of factly, "we usually don't have a problem with being cashless" then proceeds to explain why. Her response just seemed as though I was arguing with her about the whole cashless thing when I said not one word. After she was done talking I simply say that it was a bit weird, that's all. I said something else about it but again, I was still in disbelief. I paid with my card and that was that. I wonder what would've happened if I didn't have a card? read more

I already love going to Chicken Maison. I've been to several locations and the food is always great, with awesome service and a welcoming ambiance. That being said. This is the first time at this location and it did not disappoint. Wonderful service, personable and warm. It's a small take out location but looked just as inviting. The time my husband Mr I went was on a Friday night and it was incredibly busy. Those waiting for their other were treated to brownies on the house as we waited.. chef's kiss . I had the shrimp I wanted the shrimp and the chicken, but it was a miscommunication that's fine because it was plenty to eat for me. Food is fresh. The shrimp was delicious. I ordered a spicy coleslaw and it had no spice in it. That was disappointing, and the salad which was delicious And for dessert, I bought the container of honey sweetened pita bread deep fried and sprinkled with pistachio dust. Cashless and mainly grab and go. Food is absolutely delicious. Salmon kabobs are moist and flavorful. For the rotisserie chicken I would highly recommend the spicy lemon garlic flavor. I went to Chicken Maison last night on a whim. Based on the aromas wafting through the air when I walked in I knew I was in for a treat. Customer service was outstanding entering and exiting. Ramsey Karame, the co owner, walked me to the door and held it open for me as I was leaving. Can you say, "gentleman"? Say it altogether. The real test, however was the food. I ordered the salmon kabob, which came with rice and two sides. I chose green salad and steamed vegetables. Everything was delicious, but the salmon was the star of the show.
