I was so excited to discover that there is a Chicken Maison location so close to my home! I love this restaurant and order from their other locations frequently. The salmon kababs are my favorite, but all of their food is great. Authentic Middle Eastern hummus and stuffed grape leaves and all of their side dishes and bread are delicious, too. It made me feel better that he will be addressing this issue and I hope that the service from the store manager will improve from now on, not just for me, but for all customers that love their delicate food. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN. I ordered online through the website the day before I wanted the order to be delivered to someone else as a surprise and 30 mins before the time of delivery I get a text and a call from DoorDash letting me know the order was cancelled due to the store not being able to fulfill my order so I called and when the manager (Tracy) got on the phone and I explained to her what happened she got very defensive and wasn't very helpful. All I wanted was my order to be filled and delivered so I literally had to ask her "what can I do for this order to get filled and delivered?" her answer was "just reorder it" (in a very shrug off manner) her customer service was just terrible. I wasn't looking for nothing other than a solution to the problem and to just check that they were still accepting online orders for delivery. I'm used to managers always stating they are sorry for the inconvenience and usually show that they care about their customers experience. Food here was amazing. Got a steak kabob with spicy coleslaw and hummus and it came out perfect. The food came out pretty quick and the cashiers at the front were very patient with me even though I was taking a while. The restaurant also has Christmas decorations and the cashiers have Christmas sweaters too which made the atmosphere feel welcoming and cozy. Will definitely be coming in again! read more

Updating my review: Since my last review, my love for Chicken Maison has only grown so I thought I'd share. I go to this location at least twice a week now and the food is always up to par. It's never lacking anything and they continue to serve quality food. I believe this is so important because in my experience, many restaurants begin slacking after a while but not Chicken Maison. Not only is the food delicious but as I've said before the staff is so kind. They make the effort to get to know their customers which really shows they care. They even know my name now and greet me as I walk in! They are very professional and even if the place is packed (which it usually is because the food is so good) they are still quick and efficient and you never have to wait long to get your food. We got together at Chicken Maison a group of seven coming from Chula Vista and Corona and the food was simply delicious. The service was prompt and the personal very nice and friendly. A great beginning of our evening followed by a Fantastic HAIRSPRAY Musical in the Norris theater just nearby. ANOTHER 5 STARS TO THIS SHOW!! I wanted to support the local restaurant during this difficult time therefore I was happy to pay $15 for gyro sandwich. I was offered a side for $2 extra, before I picked humus I specifically asked if it comes with pita chips and I was told yes. When I received my sandwich I checked and there was no pita chips. I went back to the restaurant to inquire where are my chips and this very rude person first pretended she can't hear me then when I repeated my question she accused me of yelling-- there was no winning with this extremely rude employee! My question is what am I supposed to do with the humus without the chip? To top it ofthe soggy pita was filled with lettuce and tomato I don't recall I ordered a vegan version! Very disappointing experience last night. Placed our order on the phone at 6PM. Told it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. Showed up on time, paid for our dinner and waited, waited, waited. Over the next 30 minutes we asked 3 times what is going on. Each time we were told "we're working on it." When we asked what that meant we were told that "..they were sorry but they're very busy." Not our issue. At 6:14 PM we asked for a refund and left. Think they lost our order but they made no effort to solve the situation. I am a huge Chicken Maison fan. The food and service was amazing as usual until I was almost finished with my food and felt this little pain in my throat. After 6 hours in the emergency room and a foreign body removed from my throat I felt better. There was something in the chicken that was not supposed to be there and splintered in my throat.
