Dear Owner, Your response to my review says considerably more about your business than my review ever could. After 19 years, apparently you've decided that the solution to customers not wanting onions is to remove them from everyone's food, leave them listed on the menu, and then insult the first customer who notices. That's certainly one way to run a restaurant. And your comment that I "lowered myself as a Middle Eastern man" because I complained about onions is honestly the most absurd part of your response. I didn't lower myself. I simply expected the food I ordered to contain the ingredients your own menu says it contains. You say that everyone has asked you to remove onions for 19 years. Fine. Then update your menu. This isn't complicated. If onions have supposedly been gone for years, why are they still being advertised as an ingredient? Customers aren't mind readers. And let's address your claim that the chicken was "very moist and delicious." How exactly would you know? You weren't there when I ordered it. You weren't there when I opened the sandwich. You weren't there when I ate it. You weren't even the person working that day. Yet somehow you have enough confidence to tell me what my own food tasted like. That is an impressive level of certainty for someone who wasn't even present. What I actually experienced was dry chicken, lettuce, no onions, a menu that apparently doesn't reflect what your restaurant serves, and an employee who argued with me rather than simply acknowledging the discrepancy. Then, instead of apologizing or explaining why your menu is inaccurate, you came into the comments and attacked the customer. That tells me everything I need to know. And as for the "Middle Eastern" aspect of your response, I find it especially disappointing. Onions aren't some obscure garnish that I'm demanding out of nowhere. They are a foundational ingredient in Middle Eastern cooking. If you've spent 19 years serving Lebanese or Middle Eastern food, you should know that. If your restaurant has evolved into a watered-down, Americanized version of Lebanese food to accommodate customers who don't like traditional ingredients, that's your choice. But own it. Don't pretend the menu says one thing while serving another, and don't insult someone for noticing. You could have simply said, "We no longer include onions, and we apologize that our menu hasn't been updated." Instead, you chose to attack my character, question my identity, and insist that food you didn't taste was delicious. That was a spectacularly poor business decision. So yes, I stand by my review. The missing onion wasn't the real problem. The problem was the dry food, the inaccurate menu, the poor customer service, and an owner who apparently thinks insulting customers is an acceptable substitute for accountability. After reading your response, I'm even more confident that I won't be returning. Nineteen years in business should have taught you how to handle a dissatisfied customer. The food was average. Service was average. The decor and ambiance left much to be desired. I went in on a whim one day to try a San Pedro local haunt. And the place was old and dreary. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate and got some warm chicken on top of warm rice. It wasn't hot and freshly cooked. The salad wasn't that crisp and the salad dressing tasted a bit mid. The front of the restaurant also leaves much to be desired. You can't even tell there's a restaurant here from the street with so few windows! This whole plaza looks sad and dilapidated. read more

Parking is plentiful and in the front of the restaurant. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter with pita bread and salad. The chicken was tender and well seasoned, with a nice char that gave it extra flavor. The rice was fluffy and lightly seasoned, soaking up some of the juices from the chicken. The pita bread was warm and soft, perfect for scooping up both the meat and the rice. The salad was fresh with a light, tangy dressing that balanced out the richer flavors on the plate. What a Gem. Nazalie is a sweetheart, I love this place! Authentic Lebanese cuisine. Always fresh and so healthy. It's nice to have something different in a town that has an Italian or Mexican restaurant on every corner. It's located in a tiny strip mall along pacific and very easy to drive past it. Id call ahead if you don't want to wait too long, we usually get the chicken kabob but recently ordered the falafel plate and those were some of the best I've ever tried. Love the hummus and the rice! And the salad it's so simple but amazing. I think it's fairly priced it comes with a nice amount of food and pita bread. My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Nazelie's. From the lamb kabob and the beef shawarma everything was delicious and fresh. We also had their famous tabbouleh salad, which is made fresh daily. Sadly no pictures, but that's how you know the food is to die for. This mom and pop shop has been a staple for my family since I was a kid. Their falafel is out of this world, and they have the fluffiest rice with the most delicious dips, ugh and don't even get me started on the fresh pita! And you can tell they put so much care into everything, the owner is from Lebanon she's the sweetest lady literally reminds me of back home. especially those potatoes. My son loves this place when he's in town and we pick up . I ordered for myself last night and the guy that does the cooking now ( not the owners ) was so RUDE to me . When I called in the chicken plate he asked if I needed the pepper . I said " well do you have the tomato " and he said yes . When I arrived to pick up the dinner , he immediately said cash or credit . I said credit . So he puts some price in and turned the machine around and told me I have to pick one of the 4 squares which were tip percentages , starting at 15 , 20, 25, 30 ! I told him I didn't eat here , that I'm picking it up . He was staring at me not saying anything, so I did a custom tip of $2. So after that is when he had my card in hand and proceeded when using my card . He just added to the total bill . I never got a receipt until I came home and looked on my bank statement . The dinner was $13.99 and I paid $25 for it . After reading the reviews some said they add $4 for credit card transactions which he didn't tell me or no sign where I did the transaction . . I don't think the owners know what he is doing but he is so dishonest and RUDE , they should know that he demand a tip and shady actions with that card machine and no receipts . Beware of that guy !! I'll will be talking to the owners because she loves my son when he's here but we will never ever go in there again ! read more

The lamb or beef kebabs at Nazelie's are delicious to be sure but if you are looking for something vegetarian then their thirty dollar special vegetarian plate can be a tasty deal shared between two. The twelve dollar falafel sandwich is also quite a vegetarian showstopper for the taste buds. Their special baklava, if you can find it, is a wonder. Great Lebanese food. Found this place as it was within less than 1 mile of Crafted Port of Los Angeles and we needed a quick takeout meal. We ordered the chicken kebabs sandwich and beef sandwich. Both are wrapped in pita bread. The chicken sandwich had tender bite sized pieces of meat with tomatoes, onions on romaine lettuce the chicken had been mildly seasoned. When we got it in the car the scent wafting from the food was simply mouth watering. A side of hot banana peppers and red marinated turnip fingers accompanied it. My friend had the beef, not the shwerma. It has lettuce and rice, tomato and onions also but included a special savory sauce. Also quite delicious. This little place is in a tiny strip mall and is easy to miss. But don't miss it. Very authentic food, individually prepared with attention to detail. I would love to go back for dinner or full plate meal not just a quick lunch. There are plenty of table to sit down at. Truly lovely. The other employee can be rude at times which almost stopped me from going there. The prices seem to increase every month but that doesn't stop me!! Nostalgic, simple, and almost home. The decorations are outdated in the best way. It reminds me of visiting my Yaya's house. It's laid back care-free family owned atmosphere keeps me coming back to support them whenever I'm in the neighborhood. The server may come off slightly stern at first, but this is not to make you feel uncomfortable, he is very busy man. He takes the order, cooks the food, and does take out orders. He's basically doing everything alone. Every time I go in the late afternoon he's sometimes by himself and I see him cooking and serving. It's amazing!
