    Grilled chicken Caesar salad $10.54
    Jenni M.

My girls and I grabbed a quick bite to eat here back on 3/27/19. Our 5-year-old blurted out, "Chicken now, Mom." That was before I saw this place. "Um, okay, kid. How 'bout some manners?" She sighed, "No, I'm reading the sign over there. It says, 'Chicken Now.' Can we try it?" I chuckled as we walked over to check it out. The lady at the counter was friendly. Food was ready within about five minutes. A kid's 4-piece chicken nugget meal with fries and a drink came out to $7.14. The kids' breaded nuggets weren't all that. Seemed overcooked. I opted for the Caesar salad with grilled chicken which was a nice portion of entirely green lettuce, croutons, cheese, and slices of grilled chicken and your choice of dressing. A combo comes with a drink for $10.54. My grilled chicken was juicy and delicious. The salad was fresh and crisp. LOCATION... inside the Montebello Town Center food court near Panda Express. OVERALL... Good for a quick bite. Slightly overpriced. Would have appreciated milk as a drink option.

Foods decent got what i ordered. Service was terrible and i was very patient and nice said thank you politely multiple times as well and was treated like I was a problem . My friend payed and the lady was even ruder to him saying the payment didn't go through even though it said on his bank account . He even showed proof but won't budge and gave him attitude and he treated him as well like a problem. They refused him service and we went another spot to get him food decent food terrible service and they charge extra extra for stuff when the other locations give it for free.the feeling there is unwelcoming by the people working there fix your management and hire whole new crew all of them need to be retrained. NOT WORTH COMING HERE.

Chicken tenders with plantain & coleslaw

My friend wanted to get Chicken Now and I copied her. At first I hesitated since my Chicken Now experience @ Santa Anita Mall was pretty bad. Ordered 3 pieces chicken strips with plantain & coleslaw. I was surprised the chicken strips were juicy. The coleslaw was tasteless and the plantain was okay. 3 stars!! Chicken Now is kinda yummylicious!!

Newly openned fast food spot at the Montebello Town Center. I was heading to Steak and Fries but Chicken Now's friendly cashiers were able to reel me in. I was easily caught in their siren melody, "come here, get a free seuvenir bottle and drink with any meal." They have a cool digitial menu screen, very easy to read. In my "Duh" zombie state I ordered a Spicey Grilled Chicken sandwich with fries, all under $6. The chicken was really juicy and their secret sauce had a nice little zing. Need more spicey? No problem, this baby has jalepenos too. The seasoned fries were hot and crispy, but spread them out or the ones at the bottom will get soggy. Overall, very impressive and I will be going back with my bottle. Get it free while you can. Refills are $0.55. If you miss out, your meal and drink will probably run you around $7-$8. I am okay with the quality and quantity of food I get here. It's unfortunate that the pricing is high for a meal without a drink because I prefer this place and their SAUCE more than the competitor's. See image attached. Preferred this over Raising Cane's. But the competitor has better pricing.

I need some chicken tonight! *Clap Clap!* For well over a year whenever my stomach grumbles in the Montebello Town Center I always overlook Chicken Now and go straight for the Hot Dog on a Stick lemonade and the usual Panda Bowl from Panda Express but all has changed for I have visited Chicken now and 'now' I can give my verdict on whether it's a revolutionary chicken sandwich establishment or if it's - It's not. Come to think of it - I thought the combo meal was a little pricey standing at $7+ for a standard grilled chicken sandwich and less than stellar fries. The fries at McDonalds are more memorable than these and the fries at McDs are gastly compared to those of let's say... Wingstop. "The wing and fry experts!" All in all, I know now not to bestow my hard earned currency in the presence of the Chicken Now franchise. Disclaimer: I do not work or own any stock of the Wingstop Corp.

Kids Tender Meal - 2 pieces of chicken + fries + child size drink

Contrary to some of the other reviews posted on here, I pretty much love Chicken Now. It's my go-to food spot at the mall. Today I got the Kids Tender Meal which comes with two pieces of chicken, fries and a child size drink. The chicken is juicy and is made out of this world delicious with the spicy grandma sauce. I am a total sucker for good sauce & I don't know what's in this one, but it's good. My fries were hot and toasty. The meal says it's a kids meal, but I find it satisfying and don't feel like I over ate, its a decent sized portion. I am sure I will be back again...thank you special sauce.

It's one of those classic local burger spots that everyone in the neighborhood knows and goes to, and yes, they know me by name. My go-to order is always the chicken breast sandwich with cheese and fries. The onion rings are definitely a plus too. Honestly, everything is pretty good here. There have only been a couple of times when the unsweetened iced tea tasted a little off, but for the most part, it's always solid. One thing I really appreciate is how fast and efficient they are with the food, even when they're busy, which is pretty much all the time. The staff is friendly, and although I usually go through the drive-thru, I'll occasionally eat inside too. Overall, Arrys is one of those dependable neighborhood spots that's been around forever and continues to deliver.

I do remember some time ago ownership changed and the quality of the food dropped. One thing that tipped me off was that they are putting mayo on burgers now. WTF....... Where's the thousand islands????? Personally I don't like mayo and when you have been coming here for years, I know that have always used thousands on burgers. Expect that time when ownership changed. You guest it they started using mayo. Even the thousands we got for the onion rings had a cheap taste to it. Also got a side of ranch and my wife said it was nasty. Tasted more like mayo. I didn't even eat my burger bc it had so much mayo. My wife only ate half of hers bc she feels the quality of the patty had dropped. This WAS my top pick for Father's Day lunch but not any more. Think I may have to stop going to Arry's. ‍

While there is plenty of seating and I often see people dining in, I usually take my food to go. The service has always been pretty straightforward. Most of the employees taking orders tend to be serious and not overly chatty. It hasn't always been the friendliest service, but honestly, I don't come here for conversation, I come for the food. The chicken teriyaki plate is my go-to order, and you really can't go wrong with it, especially if you add avocado. The portions are solid, the food is consistently good, and everything tastes fresh. Overall, this is a great local spot when you're craving teriyaki. Nothing overly fancy, just dependable food that keeps me coming back year after year.

What made me try this place was the smell. I could smell the delicious chicken and teriyaki smell from outside. For me I wanted to try the Teriyaki Chicken snd Tofu with brown rice. My teriyaki bowl ended up being like 20+ dollars so I kinda feel it's a bit expensive. They have different sizes so I ended up getting the biggest one. I see a lot of people just ordering the largest one too. So the basic bowl is just rice and chicken or a protein. If you wanted to add veggies, it's a charge. Most teriyaki places would charge like 1-2 dollars to add veggies. I was charged like 5 dollars ish for veggies. I'm not sure if that's because I ordered a large bowl. The food did taste good, the veggies tasted fresh, the teriyaki chicken had a real good char flavor to it and the sauce is good. I wish they had real sauce containers for their teriyaki sauce because they give you it in a sriracha bottle which looks old and a bit dirty. It's not a full service sit down restaurant so there isn't much of a service. You go up to the counter and you pick up the food yourself. Any napkins or utensils you have to ask them for it. None of that stuff is on the table. You also have to bus your own tray. Overall, it's a bit on the pricey side but it taste good. Their teriyaki sauce is really good and it's not too sweet or salty. Would recommend trying it out.

I ended up in Montebello by chance and looked to Yelp for some help with lunch. I ended up at a little food court that had a few solid looking options, but sometimes when you see a burger and smell a burger, you simply need to eat the dang burger. There was no line when my wife and I approached the window to order and we ordered a double cheeseburger, a grilled cheese, an order of fries, and a milkshake. Now, instead of simply giving us the price the dude working told us how it was going to take a really long time because he would have to make the burgers and the milkshakes, which ya know, is kind of how it works when you order food. So instead of questioning his logic, I just said forget the shake and ordered the food. The food took literally 8 minutes to come out and I can't imaging the milkshake would of caused that much trouble since they are ordered all the time, but who am I to say? The food was great, as For The Win always is. The french fries were great and so was my burger, but the lackluster interaction with the kid working really put a damp on the experience. Overall, For The Win is still my favourite burger chain in LA and it's going to take a lot for someone to knock them down (although Burgers Never Say Die and Irv's are up there too). Maybe one day, I'll even get to try a milk shake! Hopefully you have a better time ordering then I did.
