    Yummy and nicely packaged.

Really like the honey garlic wings. Also had the Gangham wings which were perfectly spicy with bits of sauteed jalapeños on them. The ranch dressing dip is extra and worth it. Carried out but will return to try more items on their menu. Went on Sunday night and they appeared to have a good crowd of people at 9p with plenty of parking out front. Parking will probably be scarce during the week though.

Came here for lunch today and was debating if I wanted to order the lunch menu or a la carte. Their lunch menu is $14.99 and it comes with 5 boneless wings, fries/rice and a soda. I figured if we ordered 2 lunch sets we might not be full so I ordered a medium sized honey garlic wings and bulgogi poutine. The medium comes with 16 pieces for $31.99 and poutine was $16.99. You order via QR code at the table and the server brings the food once it's ready. You can pay online as well. Make sure to close out the bill before you go or they will charge 20% tip and close you out. Our server brought us plates, water and the pickled radish. Our food did not take long to come out and our server checked in on us periodically. There were about 10 tables in the restaurant and I've never seen it get too busy. The bulgogi poutine came with tots instead of fries. The tots were all super crispy. It was loaded with kimchi, cheese, bulgogi and fried egg. It had good flavor and the egg was a little runny. I was surprised it came with a good amount of meat. The wings had a crunchy batter and the sauce was sweet but savory. The chicken was moist inside and all the prices were meaty.

Nothing fancy for dinner but definitely in the mood for chicken wings, placed order for pick up, ready within 20 minutes! Ordered our favorite Cheeseling and Gangnam Style, delicious!

I was craving Korean fried chicken so hard and usually get take out but wanted it fresh!! I got my usual order, which is the half half with or original + secret spicy. It was very crispy and saucy. We also got cheesling fried & rose tteokboki on the side. My fave dish of the night was the rose tteokboki! So creamy & not too spicy. The service was honestly just okay- not that attentive and more casual, but the food was so bussin that it didn't really matter hahah. Plenty of seating inside and not too busy on a weekend dinner! Street parking nearby : )

BB.Q Chicken delivers on all fronts! I crave their rose tteokbokki -- it's flavorful and creamy, and the rice cakes are chewy and delicious. The fried chicken itself is perfectly executed, crispy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside. My personal favorite is the honey garlic flavor. The dumplings were a solid addition to the spread too. This place is a must-visit!

One a personal mission to try as many Korean Fried Chicken spots as humanely possible. Here we've got two flavors boneless: - "Secret Sauce" in red. Your standard gochujang based sweet and spicy done right - Gangnam Style in black. These were stellar! Very garlicky with a nice Black Pepper flavor that pairs perfectly with a sweeter wing ti complement. bb.q is probably the most consistently good of the Korean chains to make it to Socal.

Honestly would so go back to try more of their chicken flavors, but be warned that the Ddeok-Bokki is pretty spicy. Very crispy and flavorful chicken though!

This was my first time at this particular bb.q Chicken location. When we entered, there was one party dining in for a to-go order. We were seated right away as a party of 2 and were prompted to use the QR code to place our order. Here's what we ordered: **Rose Ddeok-Bokki: Rose flavor has been popular over the years but it was my first time trying it. As a Korean-American, I prefer the original ddeok-bokki flavor but this wasn't too bad. The creaminess texture was good, no complaints. **Half & Half: Golden Original & Secret Sauce: The original wings were nice and crispy. I love b.bq's secret sauce so it did not disappoint. They added the perfect amount of sauce and had a nice balance of flavor. Ordering via QR code was extremely easy. If you accidentally charge alcohol to your tab and cannot provide ID, they were not take that off your tab. If you forget to close it out when you leave or decide to dine & dash, you will automatically be charged 20% gratuity on top of your bill.

Came in on a Saturday night and my first impression was: Man, it is SO LOUD in here. The big party at the table next to us were shouting across the room to each other and it just made it an unpleasant experience for me because I could barely hear the waitress and my boyfriend, who was sitting RIGHT NEXT TO ME. I understand that most restaurants can't control the volume of their customers, but I wish they could've said something to them and how their conversations about Rengoku & Naruto didn't have to be so loud as it was disturbing other people. I'm also never really fond of restaurants that make you order via a QR code on the table. Technology is not always accessible to everyone and navigating through the site to order may not be the most convenient for some folks. You also lose interactions with the staff, hindering me from tipping a lot, which doesn't benefit the waiters and waitresses. I ordered the Original Fries, Original Chicken Wings, and Soy Garlic Wings. The fries were crispy and salty; definitely my favorite dish of the ones we ordered. I absolutely hated the soy garlic wings. It was overly sweet and the skin of both chickens just didn't have the type of batter I prefer in fried chickens. We asked for a side of sauce and they gave us a tiny little container of ranch for an extra $1 (see photo below for reference). Moreover, they gave us a handful of ketchup packets for the fries and an empty container for us to squeeze the ketchup in. I found that odd because it's inconvenient for the customers! They really don't have a bottle of ketchup in the back to squeeze for us? We gotta put in labor? Parking is convenient (free lot in the back). Don't think I would return though because both the environment and the food wasn't my cup of tea.

It is my first time at bb.q Chicken. They have so many flavors to choose from for their wings! We picked Cheesling, Wing of Fire, and Galbi. The wings were crispy and crunchy, and the chicken meat was juicy. I heard Cheesling was what they were known for or their most popular flavor. I one hunnit percent agree! It was so delicious; I can definitely see myself with a bucket of the Cheesling. Cheesling is more like powdered cheese than melted cheese sauce, but the powdered cheese is heavily sprinkled on the chicken. The flavor was sweet, savory, and full of umami. Can bb.q do a spicy Cheesling next? The Wing of Fire exceeded my expectations. They come really close to the spicy chicken wings from OB Bear. It's a bold statement, and it will never compare. But Wings of Fire did not disappoint. I like to switch between Wings of Fire and Cheesling. I recommend one Wing of Fire first and then a Cheesling wing to cool down the tongue. It is the perfect combo. Honestly, Wing of Fire was spicy, but it wasn't super spicy. The Galbi is a good middle ground between the other two. I recommend it for bb.q first timers to try. All three flavors went really well with soju and beer, or somaek. I am down to come back and try the other flavors. Again, there were many flavors to choose from. But I honestly want more of the Cheesling and Wing of Fire please.

Best part? We saw Shelly, our favorite girl that works here! She's always so sweet, kind, and welcoming every single time we visit. It honestly makes the experience even better when you're greeted by familiar friendly faces. We came around 7:30 PM and the wait was only about 10 minutes, which honestly wasn't bad at all considering how popular this place gets. Service was quick, efficient, and the food kept coming out fast. Plenty of tables inside, so it never felt too cramped. This time around we ordered: * Jap Chae * Bulgogi with Beef & Seafood Tofu Combo * Spicy Pork w/ seafood & beef combo * Teriyaki Chicken w/ seafood & beef tofu * Bulgogi with All Seafood & Beef Tofu Combo And of course... the unlimited refills of the banchan are always one of the best parts. Honestly, sometimes I think I could make a full meal out of just those alone. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and exactly why we keep coming back every couple of months. I will say the prices have slowly been creeping up little by little each visit, but honestly, we still enjoy it every time. Still our go-to tofu spot and definitely one we'll continue bringing family and friends to. Happy eats!

Take advantage of the complimentary refills! I liked the kimchi so much that I bought a large container to-go. I've been eating it daily ever since. It's on the sweeter side, not totally tart. Don't sleep on the raw squid either! - They've introduced two naengmyun options, one spicy and one non-spicy, just in time for summer. We tried the non-spicy version and my family enjoyed it. They use a chicken broth base and it was light, refreshing, and surprisingly addictive. - I love that they offer a beef and octopus soondubu (generous portion of octopus!). I wanted to introduce my gf that lives in the area to tofu soup and this one was nearby and the only one in the area so we decided to give it a shot. It's odd for myself as a Korean American to go to a Korean tofu soup spot and there are no Korean speaking front of house members. I saw maybe one Korean ajumma in the back of house and that's it. Here's what we ordered: **Beef Tofu Sou (Medium Spicy): Easily one of the worst tofu soup (soondubu) I've ever had. First off, when I added the egg, the soup wasn't boiling so the egg didn't cook through. The soup base hardly had any spicy kick. The soup itself was very bland and had no authentic soondubu flavor. (1/5) **BBQ Short Ribs: The galbi was not that hot when it was served. It was very fatty and mostly bone. I do not recommend if you're looking for authentic galbi. (1/5) The banchan selection was very poor. The service was decent in the beginning but once I was ready for my check, it was really hard to flag anyone down. If you're looking for authentic Korean style tofu soup, I do not recommend. If you're catering towards a less flavorful Americanized tofu soup then this may be the spot for you.

I love that they add sesame seeds and their gojuchang was really yummy, which can be hit or miss for me. The kimchi beef soup was also good! I just think the stone bowls weren't hot enough, I left the bibimbap to crisp for a pretty long time and there was only a little bit of crispy rice at the very bottom, And I added the egg to the soup a minute or two after it was delivered and it didn't cook too thoroughly. I liked the bean sprouts, salad, fish, and cucumber banchan, the kimchi was a bit pungent for me. Overall, the food was pretty good, but kinda pricey compared to some other tofu houses in sgv. The combo was $40 after tax, $36 before tax. You probably won't have to wait here though! It's a good option for your tofu/korean food fix in the area!

Hidden Gem in Alhambra - Finally Tried It After 4 Years of Driving By!…read more I've lived in Alhambra for the last 4 years and drove past this place almost every day, always assuming it was just another hot pot spot. It never looked super busy, so I kept putting it off. Big mistake--don't let that happen to you like it did to me! We finally went in and ordered a bunch: the Spicy Beef Shank Rice Noodle, Rattan Pepper Sliced Beef Rice Noodle, Popcorn Chicken, Sesame Balls, Popping Brown Sugar Rice Cake, Fried Milk Rolls, and Fried Taro Balls. Everything was outstanding. The noodles were amazing--fresh, chewy, with high-quality ingredients you can really taste in every bite. The broths had that perfect spicy kick without being overwhelming, and the beef was super tender. My wife and I couldn't stop eating; literally everything we tried was delicious. She especially loved the Fried Taro Balls--they were crispy outside, soft and flavorful inside. The sides/snacks were all hits too: the Popcorn Chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, the Sesame Balls and Popping Brown Sugar Rice Cake brought great texture and sweetness, and the Fried Milk Rolls were a fun surprise. Service was top-notch--shoutout to Icey, who took such great care of us. One of the best and most attentive experiences we've had in a while. If you're in Alhambra and love good food, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't go wrong here--highly recommend! 5 stars all the way.

The portion rice is very generous, I can never finish and would end up taking leftovers. Parking: they have a lot next to the restaurant, I never had an issue with finding a spot. The only downside is they don't have their AC on during the summer. I remember one time I was sweating while eating and it was very uncomfortable.
