I've been to several locations and they've all really set the standard for CSC. this location stuck out.. unfortunately, I won't say it was like the others. I always enjoy being warmly greeted and the staff having it all together. This time the manager or 2 front workers were talking about switching shifts in front of this long line and how one of them wasn't letting the what seemed like new girl use her register? Weird.. I ordered my usual... The Chick Combo, with broccoli salad and an extra scoop PLUS a $6.99 Togo from their packaged section, and a drink.. around $22. They did NOT have the sweet tea available the whole time I waited so I opted for the unsweetened and the lemonade was also not typically meeting the standard for CSC in my opinion.. My fav flavors: Dixie chick (onion), kickin kay lane (buffalo), Scotty (ranch, bacon, cheese), Fruity Fran (pecan, apple, grapes) Lemon (pecan, lemons, basil) Topping it off... then when I got my to go order, no crackers for all the extra scoops I had. No fork and the $2 extra scoop was missing in the box!! Good thing I checked first. Luckily my free cookie was there.. They did resolve it but for the extra crackers they did not have enough at the front. I'm feeling all this has to do with their manager or Management since I always have a wonderful experience, especially at the Dunwoody and Buckhead locations. That's key with chicken salad compared to when you get it with a separation of the ingredients and that runny, liquid version. CSC has it right. So needed to kill some time while waiting for my next meeting and wanted to eat and work on my laptop. The location didn't have WiFi but Ella said well you can take to go. I made the decision to stay and eat. When I walked in 2 employees- Ashley and Suzanne had their backs turned and Ella came running from the dining room to take my order. I got my food and was eating and I had my AirPods in. Suzanne was on the ladder dusting which I thought was gross with it flying right near the window where the food sits. All I heard was giggling, I was the only customer in the dining room and I couldn't eat in peace because Suzanne and Ashley started cleaning the dining room and laughing and it just sounded like kids in school. First time here and I was pleasantly surprised as it doesn't look like much from the outside. If you didn't know it was there you would pass right by it. Zach was the best part about the experience! He was so nice and welcoming as we came in and ordered, I appreciate his suggestions as my vision is bad and I could not read the menu. The food was delightful and I enjoyed the buttercream cookie that comes on the side! Only 4 stars because the pimento cheese doesn't taste seasoned with anything so that could have been better flavor wise. Both meals were ($8.95) so you definitely get your value for the money spent. I first heard about this place when I was out of town and finally made it in. Let me start by saying the decor is super cute and I was greeted by Zach who was SO kind! He put a smile on my face and even let me try a sample of the chicken salad I was interested in. I ordered the Kickin Kay Lynne- super flavorful and really not spicy at all for my taste. Order it on a croissant- delicious!! I also got a side of the baked potato soup which was nice and hot and very delicious as well. Wow wow wow! This spot was so delicious!!! In town from New York City and looking for some of that southern food and we sure found it. I love chicken salad but the way they did it here as so good, almost went for seconds and missed my afternoon meeting. Nice comfort food. The jalapeño chicken salad on whole wheat toasted bread - didn't want it to end. The loaded potato soup with the crackers was a nice warm appetizer. And the cookie was a nice desert at the end. All of the ingredients taste light and fresh - from the main dish to the tomato on the sandwich - great quality. It's enough food that you'll feel full but not like you over-ate. I found a large gristle in one of the scoops while eating lunch. I thought "well, everyone can have an off day". But, when I ate the remainder for dinner, I found 2 more large pieces of gristle in the same scoop. I know this may not be an issue for some customers but it definitely is for me. It's been toasted but was cold to the touch when I got my sandwich. Are they really pre toasting bread hours before hand? It's rubbery and kinda gross. From buffalo flavored to fruity and nutty, Chicken Salad Chick presents quite a few choices for the palate. I've tried about three different options and I've enjoyed each one. I've noticed egg salad on the menu as well, so that's another option that I'm certainly going to check out next weekend. I recommend trying Chicken Salad as I don't know of another place that has options quite like this; the food is good; the service is great; and according to my wife, the inside is so cute. The only issue I had was minimal and actually self-induced: I don't eat bacon** and unfortunately, some of the flavors that have intrigued me have bacon in them. There are desserts but I haven't had any of them just yet. It was plenty of food, but the salad had pieces of spinach that were large enough they needed to be cut up. Yum! 16 different versions of chicken salad, all of which sound delicious. I tried the " Kickin Kay Lynne" which has buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, cheddar cheese and jalapeño. I got mine on a croissant ( habit of a southern girl) and a cup of chicken and rice soup. Really really good. They also offer non chick salad deli sandwiches and a couple of sides. The decor inside is super girlie.... So guys beware if you aren't with your lady. The service was really friendly and they encouraged sampling which was nice.
