I cant believe i had never been here ! The pickles are impressive so fresh!! I had amazing service while ordering some food to go! I will definitely be back to enjoy a drink and some delicious food soon!

The place was busy even at 8:00 pm, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation -- otherwise, expect a long wait on the weekend. Once we were seated, our waitress was friendly, but it seemed like her section was pretty large, so we didn't see her very often. The wait for our food was longer than expected, but that wasn't the waitress's fault -- the kitchen was clearly backed up, and our food was brought out by kitchen staff. The food itself was fine. My steak was cooked exactly as requested. My wife felt her burger was a bit dry, though I had to remind her that bison is leaner and really needs to be cooked less than a typical beef burger. One thing my wife pointed out was that the menu listed prices for everything except the non-alcoholic beverages, which we thought was a bit odd. Overall, it's a good Friday-night spot for a casual date after a long work week.

Have been wanting to try Ted's. Love the sign outside, somewhat nostalgic. Always have seen it at the Collection in Forsyth but we were closer to Avalon. Upon entry, we waited to be seated with others. When the host came to seat, he didn't ask if any one of us waiting were on the waitlist, we were. However others went before us. It was quite crowded in the inside dining area. We were seated at a table for four in the middle of the dining room. It felt very cramped and also very stuffy and hot. We asked to be seated outside on the patio which was much better and more open. Our waiter came and greeted us then took our drink order and appetizer order. The Homemade chips were good but the dipping sauce was very thick and mostly tasted like seasoned mayo and a lot of it. They did offer us a free refill on the homemade chips not sure if that was complimentary since we waited quite a while before our meals arrived just like we waited for our drinks. Come to find out our waiters did a shift change so that could have been the issue. Finally our orders were taken. Unfortunately three out of four of us wanted a chicken dish. What?? No chicken we were told...ran out. Such a let down!! Never heard of such a thing in all my dining out. We changed courses and ordered the fish sandwich as well as the other dishes in the pics. Once again, it seemed way too long for our dinners to arrive. Unfortunately my fries were not hot enough. The fish seemed over breaded and the sauce was very rich. It did taste delicious while enjoying it. The fish pieces were very large and the waiter was kind to give us two separate buns since we were splitting it. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed their dinners. I loved their Arnold Palmer and my husband enjoyed his Lemon Drop Martini although I thought it tasted a bit too boozy for my liking. lol I'd like to try Happy Hour and maybe a different dish especially the chicken plate we were excited to try.

Pretty average food for high prices. There was nothing special about our visit here. The stakes were not special... really they are akin to an Applebees steak. The food was either over cooked, under seasoned, or just flat blah... Nothing we had was worth mentioning! For the money there are much better places to eat at in the Avalon area. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

First time having a Bison burger but it was good. The server and manager were extremely friendly. The pickle appetizer was tasty! The restaurant was nice and quiet and the rest room was clean.

I wasn't overly impressed with this joint, but here goes. My boyfriend had heard of it while on vacation in Colorado and we don't have one near our home in Florida, so when we saw one near our hotel in the Atlanta area, we had to check it out. First off, we were excited to join their mailing list in exchange for a coupon -- never received a coupon after we signed up. The food is decent but nothing spectacular, though we loved the chips and dip. Service was extremely good to the point where we were hoping for more alone time. I promise you, I have never said this in any of my many reviews. The atmosphere is awesome and the booths are cozy. I love that the restaurant is surrounded by upscale shops. Give the place a try because you may love it, I myself may return next time I'm in the area.

Kealey is a doll! Her service is wonderful so genuine, and sweet. My husband loves the Teds center cut fillet, consistently cooked to perfection. I had a Paloma that was delicious and knife and fork burger over lettuce without the bun. Was delicious! And Kealey was so accommodating to my specific requests. Will be back soon!

Note that the salsas had a kick to them. - Blue Fin Tuna Crudo ($28): Nothing to write home about. The chili was spicy. - French Onion Soup ($15): Just as good as we remembered it from last time. - Tasting for Two ($209): The filet and spinalis were delicious. The first time we went to Bask, the wagyu was exceptional. This time, it was the fattier part of the cut and sadly didn't live up to the hype. Disappointed. - Scallops ($50): Absolutely delicious. The arroz verde cremosa was soo good. Decent portion too. - Seafood Mac & Cheese ($20): Came with lobster and shrimp. Suuuuper good, cheesy, and creamy. - Broiled Asparagus ($15): Seriously amazing. The best asparagus I've ever had. We were celebrating an anniversary and they let us choose a dessert on the house. We got the Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding (normally $14). Sadly, it was just meh. We got the Colossal Cosmonaut Cookie last time, which was out of this world. Definitely get the cookie and skip the bread pudding.

First, we got the feeling the server was over eager to sell us a bottle of wine. My partner doesn't drink, so he opted for water and I opted for a half bottle. It was a bit pushy, but we payed it no mind. Once brought out and poured, I moved the bottle further as to not accidentally knock it over and I guess by habit closed the bottle, then proceeded to the salad bar. The server came to find me in line to ask why I've moved the bottle, then proceeded to tell me that the wine needs to breathe so he'll re-open the bottle. Personally didn't need a lecture on how wine needs to breathe, I'm well aware, nor do I find it appropriate to chase me down in line over it, but okay I let it go as well and thanked him for his help. Everything else was great, until the check came. I guess there was an issue with the card we used and different server very discretely brought it to our attention. Of course we're embarrassed, but grateful for the discreetness. Mind you, we've been here many times and have never had any issues before, just inadvertently gave an old card. I grabbed my purse to provide a different card and the initial server decided to comment loudly to my partner something about where'd you get lucky enough to find her as if to say women don't pay. I was shocked and mortified! At that point I simply replied that it all comes out of the same accounts anyway, just a different name on the card. The comment was well beyond inappropriate, brought attention unnecessarily, and was absolutely unwarranted. At least we've been together for more than a decade, I can't even imagine if this was someone's first date! We didn't need to offer an explanation, but at that point we just wanted to be done and get out as quickly as possible. We'll likely dine here again, but definitely hope we never come across this particular server again.

We also ordered a bottle of Cabernet sauvignon, which was good. We ordered the mussels appetizer, which was very tasty and served with French fries, also tasty. My husband ordered the steak au poivre, which was full of gristle, so he sent it back. I ordered the Morel pasta dish, which our waitress recommended. This dish was not good at all. The mushrooms were diced tiny with some strange flavor, which I couldn't eat, so I sent this back! My husband then ordered the scallops, which were very good. I ordered the Baratta which came with sourdough bread. The Baratta was good, but there was about a half cup of chopped parsley on the plate, which was very odd. It was like a parsley salad, which is inedible. Parsley should be used as a garnish or a sprinkle as a flavoring, not as a main component like a salad. As a self-described foodie, I'm always searching for restaurants that offer creative, thoughtfully prepared dishes with plenty of variety. Foundation exceeded every expectation. I ordered every dish the staff recommended, and each one was outstanding. Julio provided attentive, knowledgeable service, and you can tell Chef Mel and his wife, Sandy, have poured their hearts into every aspect of the dining experience. Their attention to detail is remarkable--they genuinely care that every bite is exactly as it should be, and it shows. We started with the Crisp Spanish Octopus and the mushroom ravioli. Julio also suggested adding an order of bread to soak up the incredible sauces, and I'm so glad he did--not a drop was left on the plate. For my entrée, I chose the scallops, and they were cooked perfectly. I even skipped most of the accompanying beans to save room for dessert, which turned out to be one of the best decisions of the night. The blueberry olive cake with blueberry sorbet was phenomenal and the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and refreshingly free of distractions, allowing the food and conversation to take center stage. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience with incredible food, outstanding hospitality, and an environment where every detail matters, Foundation Eatery is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back. PS. I can't believe they have a burger on the menu. I'd try that based on everything else!

They have house made focaccia that when brought to the table we instantly regretted having ordered the bruschetta, thinking we overdid the bread thing. But we both quickly changed our minds and consumed both with little guilt... I would go back just for the focaccia alone and wish they sold it by the loaf! The vibe here was buzzing on a Friday evening which seemed promising. We opted to sit at the bar which I do NOT recommend if you plan on eating. It is extremely tight seating and the bartenders aren't not trained to serve food or have menu knowledge. The lack of the kitchen staff culinary skills became evident when looking at the menu with many seafood/pasta items being served with one sauce- a goopy cornstarch'ish lemon butter sauce. We wanted to try the scampi appetizer with their house made pasta - sans dairy which meant no lemon butter sauce. That seemed to throw a wrench and there was much back and forth between the BT to the kitchen explaining what that meant aka do not cook the food with butter use olive oil- not so complicated, right? 30 minutes later - despite the kitchen staff not being busy- reminder, we are sitting at the bar and watch the cooks looking at their cellphones instead of working... The small portion of a couple shrimp and scallops arrive. They were panned seared- highly seasoned but tasty. Pasta arrived dry ? Huh? Who serves dry pasta- ugh? I asked for olive oil again which never appeared despite a manager hearing the request. So, moving along, we decided to try the calamari. It came out much faster but the portion was enough for 8-10 people. BT- oh, I forgot to tell you it is such a large portion... Maybe offer a half portion? It was okay- nothing amazing except the quantity. So disappointed- we had high hopes that the vibe matched the food quality.
