    Pork Bowl
    Tyler R.

This was a great way to end our Hilton Head vacation. We enjoyed brunch here and every bit of it was amazing. The deviled eggs to start were delicious and the perfect amount of spice. I had the pork bowl and the flavor was exploding... I loved it. The staff was super friendly and the service was fast even though it was very busy. Would love to return

Had our anniversary dinner at Nectar in Blufton SC. Really enjoyed the meal - shrimp and crab and grits was amazing - as were the deviled eggs. My husband loved the southern poutine, and the surf & turf special. We had a half bottle Veuve, a shared Pinot Noir, and I had the vanilla martini for dessert while he had the steamed white chocolate. And a banana pudding to share. Will definitely go back - great service too! Christine and Emily rocked!!!!

Amazing brunch 2pm on a Thursday. Broad menu, many enticing options but when I saw chicken and waffles, I knew I had to have it. So good! I only ate half, along with a bacon Bloody Mary. My hubby had an olly omelet, and our friend had Sheba soup and shrimp salad combo. Really fun server, relaxed environment- I wish these were local to me!

Cute spot with indoor and outdoor seating and a bar inside. They have a very eclectic menu for brunch, lunch and dinner and plenty of fun cocktails as well.

    Chicken soup and salad

I appreciated their lunch special of soup and salad and biscuit, especially once the waitress said they could do any soup. I chose the chicken soup, which I didn't realize was a creamy chicken soup rather than clear broth. It was still pretty tasty. The salad had an interesting tomato vinaigrette and killer crispy black eyed peas as a topping (so unique I've never had that before). The biscuit was mass produced (sliced from a slab) so it could have been flakier but it was still tasty. Also introduced myself to half sweet and half unsweet tea - very refreshing! Logistics: - indoor and outdoor seating - limited street parking nearby - some GF menu items marked

    Deviled eggs and fried oysters

Ate lunch here on a Monday afternoon and were surprised to find the place nearly packed. Ate outside on the patio, which was comfortable with many fans to circulate the air. Great service. Deviled eggs were surprisingly delicious, as were the fried oysters and spinach salad. I had the she-crab soup, which I love, but this version was a bit heavy with not quite enough sherry to lighten it up a bit. Mimosas were generous and hubby enjoyed his bloody Mary's. Overall, very enjoyable experience.

Get! The! Blackened! Shrimp! My salad was incredible - super fresh, served with a zingy tomato dressing. Tried a bite of the crab/shrimp and grits and thought that was lovely as well. Service is always great here - redeemed itself as a fav of our fam's!

Casual restaurant in beautiful old town Bluffton. I love the indoor/outdoor spaces, the staff couldn't be any better, and the food is delicious. We've been for brunch and dinner, enjoyed live music on the porch, but tonight it was dinner, and we are already looking forward to coming back!

Regan was an amazing server! The food was great and the servings very generous. The scoop of the day is a must do.

We were recommended this place by our concierge for the farm to table and biscuit basket The biscuits were awesome half plain biscuits, half sweet potato biscuits, fluffy and so good. The outdoor courtyard patio had lots of fans also had an outdoor bar No flies bothered us. Everyone liked their food. The collard greens were a little bitter. The hush puppies were spot on and the she crab soup was a little too thick with cornstarch and not enough sherry for my liking but I would still recommend going.

    Skylar W.

Incredible food, fantastic service, beautiful space, and on-brand merch and goodies available for purchase! My friends and I each ordered a glass of white wine. We split the hush puppies (perfection) and I ordered their soup special (sausage and pea, so cozy) and then got the butcher bowl which had A+ filet, fresh greens and veggies, and rice (phenomenal). Truly zero complaints. Our server was delightful, the food was amazing, and I wish there was a Nectar back in Tampa where I live!

    Poutine
    Paul L.

Had a very nice dinner at Nectar Farm. We decided to order a few appetizers first and then share one of their bowls. We started with the she crab soup and the tomato hand pie. Both were tasty. The hand pie had a nice flaky crust that my wife enjoyed. Next we ordered a crab cake and the poutine. I thought these two dishes were the highlight of the meal. The crab cake had tons of crab and wasn't overpowered by other unnecessary fillers or flavors. Perfect. The poutine was also incredible. The pork had so much flavor! We finished the night out by sharing the butcher's bowl. Unfortunately, this one fell a little flat. The steak was cooked perfectly and was delicious. But the whole dish seemed to lack flavor. Maybe some sort of sauce to go with it would have helped. But we still had a great experience. Love the outdoor seating, the waitress was friendly and attentive, and the food was very good.

It doesn't feel corporate or manufactured at all. More like you've stumbled into somebody's lovingly chaotic backyard dinner party where the food just happens to be genuinely top-tier. The mismatched charm, handwritten feel, and warm atmosphere are part of what makes it so special. There's this brilliant contrast between the laid-back hole-in-the-wall vibe and the seriously refined cooking coming out of the kitchen. We started with the fried green tomatoes which were incredibly tender, fried perfectly, and drizzled with a lovely house-made ranch. The sweet house pickles alongside were such a good touch. We also each had a cup of she crab soup which was beautifully seasoned and packed with tonnes of crab morsels. For mains, we shared the shrimp and grits and completely understood why the recipe has won awards, including being recognised as the 3rd best in the world. The recipe is rooted in traditional Lowcountry cooking but elevated with layers of flavour that somehow still feel comforting and homemade. The grits were unbelievably creamy, and the shrimp and sausage were perfectly cooked with fantastic flavour throughout. We also split the seafood purloo with blackened grouper, and it was equally impressive. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted incredibly fresh without trying too hard to be fancy. What really made the experience though was the staff. Everyone went above and beyond. They took time to chat with us about the area, paced the courses perfectly so nothing felt rushed, and by the end we were leaving with handshakes feeling more like guests than customers. Places like this are getting harder to find. We'll absolutely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Lowcountry food served by genuinely wonderful people.

The Oyster Po-Boy added an extra $1.00. So that's what I ordered----half oyster Po-Boy with Shrimp & Corn soup. The soup tasted like it may have been homemade. It was excellent with at least 6 medium size shrimp along with a delicious corn and seafood broth. The half Po-Boy was definitely a good size packed with large fried oysters. They had a separate room which I didn't visit. I'm guessing for larger parties or overflow. I believe they also serve alcohol although I didn't see a bar when I was there. Mainly people there for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Great conversation, great energy... set the tone right away. Now let's talk FOOD... * Fried oysters & shrimp - ridiculously good. Light, crispy, not greasy at all. You can tell everything is top quality. * Coleslaw - vinegar-based, shredded, and honestly reminded me of proper German kraut salad. Perfect balance with the seafood. * Soft shell crab... alright, this is where things got serious. "It was like a circus in my mouth... just an explosion of flavors." I'm not exaggerating. The texture was creamy, not oily, and the batter was just perfect. One of those bites where you just stop and look at each other like... yep, this is special. On top of that: * Everything is made with high-quality ingredients * Prices are very reasonable for what you're getting (honestly, some places charge double for worse) * BYOB (bring your own wine/beer = big win ) * Huge menu--seafood, ribs, BBQ, pulled pork, chicken, desserts... you name it Final verdict: (three thumbs up from Debbie & me) If you're in Hilton Head and even thinking about seafood--this is a hidden gem you don't want to miss.
