Salad with a scoop of fruity Fran and paid $2 extra for an extra scoop of Dixie Chick for my husband to enjoy the onion lover version.

I regularly pick up containers of chicken salad to go from here. (The mobile app is pretty good but could be a little more user friendly.) The crew are always friendly, helpful and the cashiers are quick. Yesterday I met a friend for lunch and noticed that they no longer offer the green salad. I was a little disappointed because I like to get as many vegetables in a day as possible and I enjoyed their salad previously. There are a handful of sandwich options as well as soup and Mac and cheese. I chose to get a scoop of the seasonal flavor Deck the Holly (jalapeno & cranberry) and side of fruit salad. My friend chose the meal with 2 scoops of chicken salad and got different flavors. We both enjoyed our meals and look forward to our next visit.

I don't think there works be much to this chicken salad restaurant, but it was very good. There are many different iterations of chicken salad and I would like to try all of them and I would if I lived closer. You order at the counter and they bring your items to your table. There's outside seating as well. It's a no frills dining room but that doesn't matter because the salads are so good.

I really like this place. It's a little chilly on the inside so maybe wear a jacket if you are dining in, although the whole place is very clean. There are a bunch of chicken salads to choose from! Before you order you can request to try a sample of any you are interested in. (Or even any of the sides you are interested in) We tried Olivia's old south, Kickin' Kay Lynne, and the seasonal flavor Dill-icious Diva. They were all really good but we settled for the OG Olivia. We also ordered the delicious loaded potato soup! Each meal comes with a side and a cookie. Everything looked and tasted great. The employees were very nice. I ended up purchasing two quick chicks to take home. One Olivia old south and one Dill-icious diva. We will definitely be back in.

This is my favorite Saturday lunch spot. No matter which chicken salad sandwich I get it's always so tasty. Lauren's Lemon Basil might be my favorite. Unless I'm in a spicy mood then it's Kicken Kaylynn. The Chick meal is a deal when you're adding a cup of steaming hot soup. Service is fast and the staff is so friendly- and they treat each other well too. Quiet and clean in the dining area. Always a lot of people enjoying good conversation.

My kids grabbed take out at Chicken Salad Chick. They know I like grape salad so they brought me home some. They bought a large but to be honest the large portion was a side dish anywhere else. While it was good it was not worth $10. I was shocked by the cost. I will not be ordering again.

Honestly such a great restaurant for being focused solely on chicken salad. Quality is great, I've tried a lot on the menu and they all taste fresh and delicious. And their pimento cheese? Amazing. Atmosphere is interesting. Feels like your aunt Shirley's sunroom by the beach, but in a way that makes it more comfortable. Feels family style. 10/10 recommendation!

I have been wanting to try chicken salad chicks since I relocated here to Charlotte today I had an opportunity and it did not disappoint. I walked in and was greeted by 2 very friendly ladies behind the register who helped me decide what I wanted to get by trying a sample of something I always ask the person that works there what's your favorite item. When she told me I tried it and my taste buds were in love at 1st taste. I had the kickin Kaylin chicken sandwich and it was amazing with a side of pasta salad. I am looking forward to coming back as soon as I can to enjoy other items on the menu until then I hope you guys enjoy the picture I took before I ate it. Thank you Amber for making my experience at chicken salad chick so amazing.

Food is always good. Service is good as well. Only complaint is that it is always cold inside. You freeze if you eat in the restaurant

This is our second visit here, and our first time with the dinner menu. There were lots of great choices! We tried the hush puppies appetizer and the deviled eggs to start. Great presentation and delicious. For entrees we went with the chicken and gravy, fish tacos and the love bug smash burger. Huge portions and really really good. We were very full afterward. We wanted to have a little more leisurely time there, maybe try a dessert, but we had to be at an event, so there was a time constraint. Overall, this is a great spot in downtown Belmont. This spot is beautiful, but the guitarist right behind me as our group of nine just wanted to visit and celebrate definitely put a huge dampener on our meal. We ordered a bit of everything and shared. The food was just ok..nothing really stood out. The hushpuppies were over cooked. The pimento was delicious, but serving it with a 'cheesy ' bread took away from the flavor of their delicious recipe.

You already know Auntie D loves putting her dollars behind the sisters. But let's be clear: the food earns every bit of this praise. I have yet to leave disappointed. My chicken-fried chicken and French toast were absolutely worth the drive. My daughter had pancakes and chicken-fried chicken, and those scrambled eggs? Light, fluffy, and deserving of their own little round of applause. Mama thoroughly enjoyed her lunch and brought leftovers home. Took a quick nap, woke up, and finished them off. That to-go box never stood a chance. ...i Crack myself up.  Now, let's discuss these FRIED PICKLES. Light, crispy, airy, with that just-right dill tang. You get a good pickle inside a lovely crisp coating. And the ranch! Full of fresh, herbaceous flavor and on the thinner side, which I actually enjoy--it works beautifully on the salad and with those pickles. I don't need my ranch standing at attention; I need it tasting good! Crack of Dawn keeps giving me a reason to make that drive. Good food, a family business I'm happy to support, and three generations at our table leaving satisfied. Five out of five fried pickles from Auntie D! C'est si bon!

A must stop for both dinner and Southern breakfast enthusiasts…read more On my way home from Charlotte, I used Yelp to find me a classic diner to start my day off right. I choose the Crack of Dawn Diner in Concord. I am so glad I did. Crack of Dawn Diner is the real thing--a local Concord breakfast-and-lunch spot serving traditional Southern fare at reasonable prices. The menu caters to local tastes, the dining room is filled with regulars, and the atmosphere is comfortable rather than trendy. Parking is somewhat limited. The private lot surrounding the restaurant was fully used so I parked in the lot next door that had signs that said private property, but it looked like other patrons were parking there also so I took the chance. As it turns out, it was safe to park there. The entrance is very welcoming, as well as the staff. Amanda was my very efficient and nice waitress. There is great teamwork here, and Amanda was well supported by, I believe, the owner who ran my food out and talked a bit with me. The menu is fascinating. A distinctly North Carolina menu. Several things jumped out: * Breakfast special for $6.59 weekdays * Breakfast plates mostly under $12 * Grits included as a side option * Livermush available * City ham and country ham both offered * Pork chops available for breakfast I ordered the country-fried steak with white gravy (essentially chicken-fried steak), along with two sunny-side-up eggs, perfectly prepared grits, a large buttermilk biscuit, and a delicious diner coffee. The restaurant occupies a stand-alone building with a warm, "come on in and rest a spell" atmosphere. Inside, you'll find counter seating, an open kitchen, and tables throughout the dining room. I chose a seat by the window overlooking the parking area. This was a great breakfast, that was reasonably priced, in a great atmosphere, with very nice people. It stuck to both my mind and ribs all day long. After breakfast, I continued on to downtown Concord and spent some time exploring one of North Carolina's most charming revitalized downtown districts. The breakfast was the perfect start to the morning. Crack of Dawn Diner has earned a spot on my repeat list whenever my travels take me through the Charlotte-Concord area.
