Nice little shop with great customer service, but I found the chicken salad to be dry. After hearing so many people rave about it, I was so looking forward to trying this place. I had the plate with three options. I ended up tossing it out. The pimento cheese was disappointing and the two types of chicken salad were dry and not very appetizing. Slowest drive through I've ever been to . It took 20 minutes for my sandwich, and the space is so small you get backed in and can't leave . Food is pretty good though , I'd recommend eating inside. read more

We visited on July 17 @ lunch. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful with ample seating. However, there is a whole row of seating that is in the line que. Quite awkward to stand in line if my bottom in the face of the people eating. I also almost tripped over the baby carrier one lady had on the floor next to her booth. The line was quick moving and we had a patient, knowledgeable cashier. She allowed us to read the menu and explained the specials to us. I ordered the trio. I picked the classic salad, and the nutty nana with broccoli salad. My partner ordered the classic sandwich (on delicious soft wheat bread) with the Olivia. I found the original salad to have zero flavor, and it was quite mushy. The Nutty Nana had a nice amount of nuts in it, which added a little flavor. The Olivia only tasted of sweet pickles. My partner liked the broccoli salad but not the pasta salad. The prices were comparable to any specialty restaurant like this - $9.95 a plate. There were some people with nametags on (management?) standing chatting right in the way, the entire time we were there - near the arched window and then near the door. I had to say excuse me more than once as I passed through for a refill and a trip to the restroom. Because of the lack of flavor & mushy chicken salad we will not choose to eat there again. Very good chicken salad... I am not typically a chicken salad person but this place kicks it up a notch... They have like 20 different kinds... The Buffalo Bacon flavor on the croissant was off the chain!! They also have good sides... Pasta salad was excellent and the cookie they throw in was good too... They have a nice dining room and have catering and take-out options as well... They are Open only til 6:00 which was the only down side:(... Wish they stayed open later but this place is highly recommended!! read more

I have been very impressed with this restaurant in the past but my last 2 visits have been awful. The first visit they forgot to bring my order after my husband and I waited for over 30 minutes. The waitress passed us several times and stated she would check on it but never did. We didn't get to eat but the Manager was very apologetic so I decided to give them another shot. Today, I attempted to order 2lbs of broccoli salad, I get to the window and the staff are hollering to each other and then I am told they are out. I love their chicken salad but unfortunately I won't be back. They have lost my personal business and my company's business. read more

Enjoyed a decent lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of their products. The three salads I tried were good but they didn't have a huge difference in taste even though they were drastically different in their discription. The loaded baked potato soup was tasy yet the portion size was disappointing small for the price. As a whole the restaurant was exceptionally clean and the staff was very pleasant. We visited your restaurant this evening for dinner. As usual, the food is excellent, when you finally get your order. The service was very slow and without explanation or apology. A family of three came in after we did and received their meals before we did. A family of two received their meals within five minutes of sitting down. Take outs who arrived after we did also were leaving before we got our meals. Our order was placed at 5:09 PM and we received our food at 5:30PM. This is the second visit where service was comparably slow. We hope this pattern doesn't continue. Perhaps active adult management might help. Thanks. read more

The store is clean and quite lovely in decor. The chicken salad is without flavor and mushy. I ordered the trio....they all tasted exactly the same with the exception of very salty jalapeno bits in one. The Fancy Nancy had fruit in it but again tasted just like the original. I ordered the broccoli and it was very dry so I asked for a little dressing. She said they didn't have any extra dressing but a little while later a server came out with a little cup of dressing she said they scooped off the bottom of the broccoli salad! That was disgusting. My guest got the cajun roast beef sandwich. One piece of cold roast beef, cold cheese, cold condiments and very cold bread. Didn't look anything like the picture on the menu. By the way, even the kosher pickle tasted off. We won't visit again. And anyone who buys a food franchise should taste the product before investing. read more

I like the chicken salad and the portion size is good, however, it is expensive for a meal. The first time I visited this place was a pleasant experience. The girl that took my order was very nice and very helpful in the ordering process, however my second visit wasn't as good. The girl was rather rude to me after I asked for a bag in the drive-thru, and I never received one. I like to have a bag so that my food doesn't spill out while traveling to work. The car before me and after me both got bags, so I felt a little cheated. The food is good, but my second visit was unpleasant. I will continue to visit this restaurant, but hopefully I won't get the same person helping me as last time. read more

The chicken salad is WAY overpriced. It is too expensive plus the chicken salad at the Eastern Shore Cafe is way better, homemade, and less expensive. Do not go thru the drive thru. It is SO SLOW!!!! read more

Loved the variety of the different salads! The recipes are certainly perfected with just the right amount of flavors! You can get a meal with three scoops of chicken salad or one scoop of salad and two sides served with crackers or as a sandwich. Their pasta salad is vinegar based and very good. Their broccoli salad is great as well with just the right amount of sweetness. The atmosphere and decor is perfect for get together's with the girls! Beware of the cost of drinks! Drinks are a third of the cost of a meal. I spent $2.75 on a sweet tea and spent $25 for two lunch meals. It was the only thing that turned me off from going back to sit down in the eatery. I could see many of the regulars caught on because most of them had water in small plastic cups. Not sure if there is a cost to water. There is a drive through which makes it convenient to pick up to go containers and sides to take home, picnics or potluck dinners. I'm giving it a rating of 3 1/2 stars only because I felt the cost of the full meal and drinks were high for a light lunch. read more
