    Small Tomato Soup
    Karla C.

I came with a friend for brunch on Sunday and was happy that it was not crowded. We immediately ordered and found a spot to sit outside. I ended up getting a small tomato soup and a lavender honey latte. I loved that they make the syrups in house, it was really good. The staff was so friendly and gave us good recommendations. Its a great place to come and hang out with a friend!

    Dutch Apple pie

Ordered a Dutch Apple pie for Thanksgiving and it was very delicious that it was gone at the end of the night. I will be ordering more pies from them and try their other pastries

Of course all the pastries, treats, and coffees GREAT! I'm a hot chocolate lover and Thurs is one of my favorites. Theme grilled cheese is absolutely amazing, with goats cheese and some others melted together. The tomato soup is good too. It comes with a slice of bread that has melted cheddar on it to dip in the soup. I like to get this when I'm sick. Perfect cold weather dishes. The quiche is another one of my favorites. Personally I think the bakery Lorraine at the Pearl is just better overall, and cuter inside, but this one was the same great food and service. There is also more open seating at this one. Parking can be difficult when the Rim is busy.

I heard great things about this place so wanted to try it. The line was rather long so I had high hopes for the products. Unfortunately they were unable to serve any hot drinks the morning we went. We decided to get some pastries since we had waited in line for so long before being told they couldn't serve coffee or hot tea. The customer service was honestly not the best; they are the type of business that is popular therefore you should know what you want and not ask any questions. We settled on an almond croissant and cinnamon roll. Again, not the best. The pastry was sweet and very crunchy. I like my croissants soft; so was not a fan. Overall was not impressed with the food or service although the ambiance was nice.

Went at 8:30am for breakfast! It was great. Got the breakfast plate. Delicious! Service was good. Friendly and helpful! Ambiance lacked. It is sterile and too bright!!!!!! Bathrooms could use a good cleaning! No hand soap with a sign next to the sink that reads employees must wash their hands.

A friend and I stopped by Bakery Lorraine for afternoon coffee and treats this past weekend. At about 2:30PM, they were pretty picked over on their selection with the exception of macaroons - they had a ton of those. We ordered two cappuccinos, a chocolate caramel tart and a lime tart. We were given the tarts right away along with a number so they could bring the cappuccinos to our table when ready. The tarts were both impressive and elegant in their presentation! Once our cappuccinos arrived, we each added sweetener and tried them. While it was good, mine seemed to have less foam than a normal cappuccino, was a bit thinner in consistency and wasn't as hot as I would've expected. I did love that it was served in a large mug, but it did seem to cool incredibly fast. The tarts however were delicious! The chocolate caramel tart was very rich and smooth in texture. The lime tart tasted just like a key lime pie. I would go back for tarts for sure!

    The Cuban Sandwich

First time here and a bit disappointed since I had heard great things. First the young man handling pastries did not change his gloves the entire duration of our breakfast. Also the other young man at register was polite but lacking some enthusiasm. The pastries were all fantastic- why I give 3 stars. All were super fresh and they even warmed up my kiddo's cookie. The cuban was lacking the mustardy flavor making it a bit dry. However the potatoes were very flavorful. The tart was AMAZING! The restaurant was clean and cool. The water glasses could be polished a bit more to avoid the water stains but they were not dirty. Definitely wanna try again and see if this day was just a fluke.

    Cinnamon Roll
    Julie M.

Very clean and friendly staff. We ordered a cinnamon roll and asked for it to be warmed in hopes that it would be more like a cinnamon roll should be on the ooey gooey side. Unfortunately we were disappointed that it was crispy and very flakey. The breakfast sandwich was hot and tasty along with quiche Lorraine. The potatoes were tasty but some were still on the uncooked side.

I came here for a coffee and a couple pastries. The coffee was pretty good, and the pastries were tasty, but nothing overly impressive.

There were very limited fresh selections available, and many items were still being baked during opening hours. In my opinion, a bakery should open with the shelves fully stocked and ready for customers, especially those of us stopping in early. The prices are reasonable, ranging from about $2.50-$4.00 for both sweet and savory pastries, but price doesn't make up for the lack of availability. I expected to have more options to choose from instead of empty or partially filled displays. For consistency in early morning breakfast items, I could have easily gone to Krispy Kreme, where you know exactly what you're getting when the doors open. That said, 85°C is convenient and their mango smoothies are great. Overall, it's a decent spot, but I wouldn't recommend going first thing in the morning if you're expecting a full pastry selection.

We ordered: the Alamo Burger: a 8 oz wagyu beef smash burger , served with a fried egg, caramelized onions, cheese on a crispy croissant bun. It was incredible and worth the 15-20 minute wait! Almond croissant - a monster sized, flaky croissant with a generous almond filling. Guy Fieri highlighted this croissant on his DD&D show. It's probably a million calories not worth it! Tequila strawberry tres leches croissant - a small, cream filled croissant with strawberries. This was our least favorite. My husband didn't like the filling, I didn't like the sogginess of the croissant. Coffee - really good brewed coffee with free refills. We plan to go back a few more times while we're in town!!

All three pastries seemed a bit dry to me and didn't live up to the hype. I also tried their brunch offerings, which were good but nothing particularly memorable. On a positive note, the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, respectful, and welcoming. The ambiance was casual and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to visit overall.
