Driven past this place numerous times and was always curious about it. I finally stopped in today and thought it was a great place to stop and have lunch. The menu is great and my lunch was delicious. Also I have to mention the associate who took our order Jalen. He was friendly, knew the menu and kept a smile on his face the whole time we were there. Just a pleasant, nice kid and it was a great experience dealing with him. We will definitely be back to Chicken Salad Chick cause we liked everything about it. read more

This place "had" become a local favorite for my wife and I. I work from home a few days a week and it seems inevitable that we hit this place up. The people are always really friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the prices are reasonable. The past two months however something is off. We've noticed there are always fruit flies in the place. The chicken salad sandwiches have also been too salty. Coming from a guy that loves seasoning... that's saying something. If they can get the fruit flies under control, and fix whatever issue they're having with the saltiness of the food, I'll update my review to 4 stars. As it is however they're 3 star worthy, no better. read more

I was greeted and assisted by Emelia who explained the menu & offered samples as it was my 1st time visiting. First off, very sorry I don't have pictures, so here's my story! Highly recommend you visit this, any, Chicken Salad Chick! I dropped in one day on a whim and I was hungry , told the very nice employee that this was my first time in, she took the time to explain the entire menu items to me, which I thought amazing and I Thanked her, very thoughtful, at least I thought! So I chose the Dixie Chick Sandwich, it has onions mixed in it, on croissant with all the fixings, Chicken Tortilla soup as my side, again, amazing and the cookie that's part of my meal, heavenly for I do have a sweet tooth! I highly recommend you stop by if you love or even just like Chicken Salad, you will be highly satisfied! I've e been back 4 times in 2 weeks, no judgement please..! Horrible service. Today I ordered online and was given a time for pickup. I arrived 20 minutes later and was told there were several orders in front of mine (there were a lot of people waiting on orders). At 30 minutes I asked again and was told it would be ANOTHER 30 minutes. This, for a sandwich using pre-made chicken salad. The manager (I'm guessing) said she didn't think it would be that long. She gave me a drink cup and offered something to drink. I explained we didn't yet have the drinks we paid for as the machines were empty. She said she would take care of that. Another 20 minutes and my order is finally ready. I gave the cup back and said you still don't have lemonade, tea, etc. I was told "we're working on it". Granted, they were busy. But last week it was almost the exact same story, except only 3 people on front of me. Waited over 30 minutes that time..... This place is not new. They should not be so woefully understaffed!!! read more

Chicken salad here is fantastic. I've always been a little leery of chicken salad, egg salad (you know, all the mayo-based-things). But here, I've never had the mayo-storm experience. My go-to flavor is Jalapeño-Holly, but all the other flavors I've tasted have been fantastic. Please try your sandwich on either the croissant or the white bread. The white bread is next level (I suspect it's not Wonder Bread from the bag). This place is a "must-try"! Staff is fantastic. Restaurant is spotlessly clean. read more

There are many types of chicken salad recipes to choose from and various side selections. My only problem, is the one I got (jalapeño chicken salad) was way, way too salty. 1/4 of the salt would be so much better.. it was so salty I only tasted the salt. read more

I tried out Chicken Salad Chick for the first time at the opening of the Birnham Woods location. They had a chicken salad for a year giveaway for the first 100 customers and we were number 104 before 8AM. Bummer. I still showed back up to pick up take out lunch. I ordered a scoop of Dillicious Diva (dill and cucumber) and broccoli salad for me, a scoop of Dixie Chick (onions) for my daughter and the Sassy Scottie (bacon ranch and cheddar) croissant and Mac n cheese for my husband. All meals came with crackers and a small soft iced sugar cookie. Everything was delicious but we were all still left hungry. Mine and my husbands were $7.99 and the single scoop for my daughter was $4.99. I really thought the scoops and sides would be a bit bigger. You can make the meals a trio for just $2 more which I will need to do next time. That would include an extra scoop or side. read more

Soooo good! I had the chick meal with the carol and it was perfect! My husband loved it and my 5 year old enjoyed the Mac and cheese and fresh fruit. They have 13 different flavors of chicken salad so I'm just going to work my way down the menu. I can't wait to try the pimento cheese sandwich. I'm so grateful that there is a new option near our house besides another pizza place! Also the restaurant itself is really beautiful. I've done the option where the pizza would be carried out to the car because I have my young daughter with me and the last few times I've arrived, parked, clicked the HERE and the pizza was never carried out. Of course they turned off the counter so it appears as though it's been carried out to me within the 2 minutes. Upon entering the store there are MULTIPLE employees standing around and one eventually hands me the pizza that is just sitting on a shelf. Pizzas often sit in 'quality check' for an unreasonable amount of time so it's not clear if this is manually changed or something that is just not functioning as it's intended. The problem this presents is that it goes from sitting in one of the earlier stages for 15+ min at times and then it's DONE. On the other hand it seems they have their favorites as well as I've witnessed them bringing a pizza to someone who was driving thru the parking lot. Whether this was based on the person choosing the car delivery option or a special call seems to be inconsistent in the service most receive. I have advised friends in the area to choose another location or to frequent other pizza places in the area -- Marco's is a good alternative that is super close if you don't want to drive to the nearest Domino's. This is a location management/corporate should really look at closely because they're bringing down the brand overall.

The place was getting busy as we came in at the start of dinner time. Patrons were waiting for their orders including doordashers, wow! It took about a good 40 min before our order was served and it was worth it. The wings was delicious! I enjoyed the huge pieces of garlic parm wings and ranch dip sauce on the side.
