OK food on the Atlantic City boardwalk. Good spot for people watching. We sat outside

Very mid-not sure if it is due to the environment, the cleanliness level of the restaurant, or the food. All were mid at best. Ordered a half dozen wings, a chicken sandwich and a plain pizza. It's bad when you can't even get wings right. The chicken sandwich wasn't bad, though. We had two servers for our table, one was good, the other not so much. Will not return.

Quick bite stop: Philly cheesesteak sand ice and crab fries (the fries are a must) and a few pints. The bar was empty on a Monday afternoon; the music was playing; perfect for waiting for check-in time. This bartender served us many times and he is great - attentive and professional! Will be coming back!

Not sure why the ratings are so low because the service and food were great for us. The seats and tables were dirty upon arrival but staff came and quickly cleaned the area. It's right on the boardwalk facing the water. Beautiful views. I ordered the seafood saute and sweet potato fries. All delicious. No reservations required

We came off the boardwalk and were promptly seated. Bryson and Shelby took great care of us. We split the steak and cheese along with an order of crinkle cut fries. The steak was nicely flavored and juicy. The seasoning on the fries was spot on! Great place to watch sports and look at the ocean.

They are located in the Tropicana but you can get to it from the boardwalk. I've stayed at the Trop a few times but never ate here until recently. Good to know it's another good place to eat! They have two levels and they have nice boardwalk view seating upstairs and downstairs. During the season the outdoor seating is also open on the ground level. They are also open all year round for lunch and dinner. The food was good and they are famous for their crab fries. I was with a small group everything everyone ordered was good. Definitely good to have another good restaurant in the rotation now. They also have TV's everywhere so you can catch games here as well. There's a huge bar on the 2nd level as well.

I've always found Chickie's & Pete's to be more hype and over rated than my actual experience. This location proved to validate my thoughts. The service was good and the convenience of a restaurant right within the Tropicana makes it easy. Ordered the Buffalo Chicken Nachos and the mistake was ours not to realize that they had blue cheese and ranch style dressing. I disliked the combination, but again our fault, not theirs. It was as advertised. My husband ordered the Crab cake, which he liked. An overall, fine experience.

Stopped here for a quick bite while gambling at the resort. Good for watching the games as they have several screens. We only grabbed a few appetizers which were okay, nothing super spectacular. If you want a quick option with some versatility I would try it but I wasn't wowed. You can't really do much with mozzarella sticks and wings.

First time here. Only thing I didn't care for is everything à la carte and you can smell cigarette smoke from it being in the casino. The crab fries are ok it's just a seasoning. There is an option to get crab meat. The onion rings are good. Def recommend the shrimp tacos and the flyin Hawaiian. Our waiter John, was amazing. The kitchen staff messed up one of our orders and he corrected it as soon as we told him as someone else passed out the food.

I really liked this place. We only had apps - the fries with cheese sauce and seasoning (a large portion) and the clam chowder. They had Sunday football playing on all the tvs and we had a seat by the ocean.

I have seen this restaurant many times but it will be my first time dining here. for a sports bar, it passes on that vibe. the food was good, and my friend got the kelce combo, a nice juicy burger, and a large basket of crab fries. The paddy melt was good and the only issue was that was the bread got soggy very fast and it didn't come with anything. The nice thing is the waitress told us in advance that it is a la carte style . Definitely would come back to try other items on the menu. it's more of a 3.5/5 review

A bit of Philly in Atlantic City! Great sports bar and restaurant vibe. This place has all the authentic menu items you'd expect from the original Chickies and Pete's, but in a casino atmosphere with late night feels. The food is as good as the original in Philly and the craft beer list on tap was amazing. They had everything from the traditionals, to the locals (Yards, Troegs), to great NJ options (Kane, Carton, Icarus, Cape May), to top notch craft breweries like Tires Hands. There are tons on flat panel tvs and big screens, so you can watch the games from every angle and just about every main event on schedule. The menu is expansive and full of seafood, burgers, wings and Philly steak options! I opted for the Lobster Crab fries and Buffalo wings (fried hard mandatory)! Both were on point with the crab fries being the star....a delicious plate of crispy crinkled fries, loaded and topped with garlicky butter-poached lobster and this salacious cheez wiz sauce. The wings were just as good as well. They were cooked perfect with this tangy, spicy Buffalo sauce that melded well with the crispy meat on the the wings....bone crunching and sucking good!! lol. Washed it all down with a local IPA that complemented both dishes. In all, a great spot while hanging out in the Tropicana and a good eats option amongst the restaurant available in there. Definitely will be back

The crab fries are always a must! The clam chowder was also really good! On this day we only had something quick to take to our room but their food is always good and fresh. Enjoy!

As fans of Guy Fieri, it was cool to visit a spot featured on his show and see what he tried from the menu. The food lived up to expectations. The corn and crab chowder was delicious, and the Baconaise burger was great. I tried the Fried Rice burger bowl, which was a unique twist I hadn't seen before, offering a really nice balance of flavors. They also have a solid selection of beer options on tap. The only downside was the lack of a changing table in the bathroom. It is somewhat understandable given that it's a tap house and not a typical spot for young kids, but still worth noting. Overall, the service was good and the food was tasty, making it a worthwhile stop.

Yet, the wait staff seemed overwhelmed. We waited an hour for our food and then getting the waitress' attention after that took a double arm waive. What really set me off was that there was a large party charge for 7 people for $50. It seemed pretty obvious to me that the waitress understood that her 20% was predetermined so she could get away with subpar service and still collect a nice tip. After that experience, I'm no longer surprised that they were near empty during prime time on a Saturday night in August. If you treat people that way, they eventually stop coming.

They also have a great $25 dinner special on the weekends, however we weren't looking to eat that heavy. But the live music on weekends at 7pm brought me in without the specials. We started with a down East blackberry cider $8, and a wanderback Hugo pilsner $7. We took our time sipping slowly while the band's set up and began to play. I think our server was more eager for us to make a food order than we were to eat yet. But when we finally did order, we chose a Tennessee Avenue tycoon salad and the "Phish" grilled fish tacos on corn tortillas. The salad was fresh but ordinary, with grilled chicken, blue cheese, egg and bacon. Spouse opted for some sort of orange dressing instead of the normal avocado dressing, perhaps it was the same one I loved on the fish tacos, a chipotle aoli. The Phish tacos were on soft corn tortillas that needed more time on the flat grill with a little oil to crisp them up! The fish was nice and white with good sized pieces in each taco. The cabbage slaw inside was wet, mashed avocado and so was the aoli, so a little gloppy but good even if it fell apart. These tacos are normally served with a side of chips, so I asked what options I had besides potato. Our server happily volunteered a grilled vegetable side which I loved until I found out it was an $8 upcharge of which he didn't inform me when ordering. That's an extreme amount, for not advising the customer prior. We stayed for a second round, I had another blackberry cider because it was delicious. Spouse switched to the Blue Horizon Kolsch, but apparently it was high test because it was $10. It was a lovely evening but, room for improvement. The band was fantastic, played all our favorites and we stayed a lot longer as a result of the great weather and the lovely picnic tables in the "garden". The beer hall has done a great job making this a fun hangout!

I stopped in for dinner around 6:15 PM and, as always, the atmosphere was welcoming. There's indoor seating, a full bar, and a fantastic outdoor space complete with games, a fire pit, and one of the best music playlists in town--often accompanied by live entertainment. It's the kind of place where locals and visitors naturally mix together, creating a fun and friendly energy. One thing that always makes me smile is the sign when you walk in explaining that the bartenders and servers may be outside and asking guests to let them know they've arrived. Honestly, who could blame them? With the fresh salt air coming off the Atlantic Ocean and the outdoor atmosphere they've created, it's exactly where I'd want to be too. Tonight I ordered the crab cake platter, served with garlic French fries and coleslaw. The crab cakes were very good, packed with flavor, and the fries were crispy, garlicky, and absolutely delicious. A simple meal done right. Everything was fresh and appealing, I eat small portions so I took one crab cake and some fries home with me. I did ask about dessert, nothing was available, I don't do sweets frequently, I'm surprised they don't request Momma Chocolate, at Bar32 to make some extras for days they are closed. My server, Bella, was upbeat, bubbly, and attentive throughout the evening, adding to an already enjoyable experience. Parking is easy, with both free and paid options nearby, plus curbside access. Whether you're a local looking for a regular hangout or a visitor exploring beyond the casinos, Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall is well worth the short walk from the Boardwalk. Highly recommended for good food, cold drinks, great music, and some of the best local vibes in Atlantic City.

Staff was unobtrusive but readily available as we dined at the bar. Only a few other patrons were there on a Sunday at 430pm. I saw one order of tacos at the end of the bar and confirmed the tortillas were indeed corn, hooray! The appetizers are impressive in variety, portion and quality. We shared them, but spouse gravitated towards the shellfish. The red sauce mussels were made spicy on request, and they were a good sized portion with a simple toasted sliced bread. A little grated parm and parsley graced the mussels. The Tres Tacos were filled with a nice carne asada.
