Chief's on Broadway is a six-story Nashville bar and music venue owned by Eric Church, located in the heart of downtown at 200 Broadway. Opened in 2024, it features Rodney Scott's Whole Hog BBQ, a rooftop bar (Hell of a Q), and the dedicated music venue featuring the Neon Steeple. Redemption Bar, located on the 5th floor in partnership with Ashley McBryde, is a premier non-alcoholic-forward space launched in Aug 2025 focusing on original music. I was here twice during our recent trip to Nashville. The first was early afternoon on the 1st Floor for quality music (Shelby Lee Lowe), some tasty brisket sliders, and beer of course. The 2nd was the "Church Choir" tour of the building itself. That was fun and entertaining, and of course getting to know about Eric Church a little more. The folk working here were all friendly and helpful.

Very busy rooftop bar/restaurant. There are several floors to the building. Only 2 floors have full menu. We had to ask around to understand the process once someone lets you up the elevator. You order at the bar, receive a number and find a seat. Brittany at the bar is very businesslike but helpful - just very busy! Our food arrived in about 15min. The collards and riblets are not hot so I sent back the collards but was too hungry to wait on more riblets since that was my full meal. Hubby's burger and Mac and cheese was hot and delicious. If in the area, I'd visit again.

One of the best places on Broadway. So many options to choose from on each floor ultimately makes this place a great stop for a large group. Barbecue sandwiches here are incredibly great. They are definitely low country South Carolina style. I personally like the third floor out of all of the options available. Both day and night this floor host dueling pianos - you will love it.

Chief's on Broadway Chief's on Broadway is hands down one of the coolest spots on the strip. From the moment you walk in, it feels elevated but still rowdy in the best Nashville way. The space is beautiful--rustic, modern, and thoughtfully designed--with incredible views of Broadway the higher you go. The live music was fantastic, and the sound quality really stood out compared to other bars nearby. It felt less chaotic and more intentional, which made it easy to actually enjoy the music while still having that high-energy Broadway buzz. Drinks were well made and service was solid, especially considering how busy it gets. The crowd was lively but not overwhelming, and the whole place just felt... cool. Like you're somewhere special, not just another bar hop stop. If you want a break from the madness without losing the fun, Chief's is absolutely the move. It's stylish, energetic, and has a vibe that sticks with you long after you leave. Definitely one of my favorite stops on Broadway.

*Ashley McBryde's Redemption Bar - 5th Floor of Chief's* Walking into Ashley McBryde's Redemption Bar felt like a reset from the chaos of Broadway. It's on the 5th floor of Eric Church's Chief's building. It's a dark and moody, smallish bar that feels more hometown than big city. The focus on zero-proof cocktails which is great for anyone not wanting to drink alcohol or for a mid-day NA drink. I tried the drink called One Night Standards, which came with a Ring Pop! My husband tried the Sam Adam's NA IPA, which I actually liked more than my drink! They had food, but we opted just for drinks. They have a ton of fun options, all inspired by country music artist Ashley McBryde's music. There is an intimate music setup in the corner, and the music that day was great! It's calm without being boring at all. Pretty cool spot to check out if you're wanting to step away from the chaos of Broadway.

I'm a fan of the Sirius station the Highway. They frequent Chiefs so on my recent visit to Nashville I was anxious to stop in to Chiefs. Walking down from The Hermitage where we were staying I elected to leave my purse behind so I had no form of identity. I'm a 73 year old lady & was accompanied by my 76 year old husband. On arriving at Chiefs I was surprised to learn from the 2 attendants at the Chiefs door that I could only enter their establishment with 2 huge black ID X's drawn across both hands. Surprised, I accepted that & was then rudely cautioned not to wash off the marks - because I might be under age? I understand that this might be a state/city law but the "boys" at the door could not have been ruder or less hospitable. Chiefs - train your staff to be better hosts. You should be ashamed.

Fun bar on Broadway! I love the first floor bar atmosphere, but honestly each floor was awesome. I stopped in for the music row happy hour show by the highway -- super cool to see this live after hearing about it on the radio for years. Bar was easy to navigate and seemed like a popular place to be. I'd for sure come back again!

Food: I ordered the brisket sandwich at the recommendation of a friend and it did not disappoint. It was probably some of the most tender, juicy, delicious melt-in-your-mouth brisket I've ever had. It was a rather simple sandwich with just the meat between the buns. A side order of Mac and cheese complemented my meal and there was ketchup and bbq sauce. That part was just ok, but the Mac and cheese was also delicious. I'd come back for the food alone. Service: We were on the roof and ordered food and drinks at the bar counter - then found a seat along the ledge for the view. They brought our food out to us on trays. After that there wasn't really any additional check in, but I don't mind that. Ambiance: The rooftop is great for views albeit a little small. There was a DJ playing and it was reasonable as far as noise goes, in mid afternoon/early evening on a Friday. I'd definitely come back for the food. Haven't been later at night so can't say what the vibe is. Overall I had a good time here. I'm pretty easygoing so the experience didn't disappoint.

Probably the worst bar experience on broadway. My friends and I came here for 1 last drink before we went home for the night because someone we know was playing in the band. Upon arrival, we got seats at the bar and got our orders taken from the bartender on the first floor. First of all, broadway in general is crazy expensive but this bartender gave us top shelf without us asking just to charge us more which I didn't like. After we got our drinks (1 tequila soda, 2 vodka sodas, and a miller lite), we realized the bartender made a mistake and made 2 tequila sodas instead of 2 vodka sodas. We literally had only taken 2 sips when we told him and asked very nicely if he could remake the one drink correctly. He then got super mad and threw the drink in the garbage very aggressively. My friend didn't like his attitude regarding his own mistake, so she said never mind we don't want you to make us another one forget about it and the bartender freaked out and told us byeeee. He tried to get us kicked out of the bar but luckily the security guards were on our side and even told us that that specific bartender is know to be a diva. The security team/bouncers were all very nice, it was just that terrible experience with that shitty bartender that gives this place 2 stars. With so many bars on broadway your place really has to stand out to be successful. If you have shitty staff you're not going to do well.

Great spot for a drink on Broadway when visiting Nashville. We arrived Friday afternoon and saw a few bands on multiple levels who were mostly playing covers but respectable. Of course, we went to the top floor (6?) for The Drink. For those in the know, MW "might" have tossed a chair from here and Eric's team made a drink out of it. One apology and plea deal later, EC has a sugary drink with props ready to please Sheeple like us. Overall, great experience. Mediocre tribute drink. Bar is solid though, good bourbon selection. I'll be back to see bands in the evening.

To be honest... I was disappointed. I love his music but his bar wasn't great. Small main level and only a portion of it can see the stage. I don't like the design or layout. Went to the 5th floor because 2-4 weren't open (reserve for events of performers and we were visiting during lunch on a weekday). The 5th is a small restaurant with a good but limited menu. Extremely friendly staff and food cake out quick, but very expensive (as everything around Broadway is). I hate being a downer, but there are several other better places in town for music and food.

Fun place for great music with food options. My husband and I enjoyed listening to the dueling pianos, an afternoon of listening to great musicians, and an evening enjoying a show in the Neon Steeple. Definitely one of our favorite spots in Nashville. Being from TX, the BBQ is different than our norm but tasty. I would recommend a better wine option in the restaurant.

5 stories of music and food. Went for lunch at the recommendation of the visitor office by the hockey coliseum. The place i wanted to go to was closed. I wanted bbq. The pulled pork from a giant hog they claimed; was good but too peppery for me. The bbq sauce was meh. The beans and mac n cheese were good. Music was very good. I went to several floors.

The special during Nashville's hot chicken week. I prefer the Alabama white sauce to the hot sauce. Loved the potato salad side- $ extra

We bundled up in coats and scarves, and walked around the empty construction site at night with our iPhone flashlights 14TENN only consisted of some raw wood, a few original beams and a wonderful owner named Sean, who had no staff hired in Nashville yet. But we knew we HAD to get married there. We could see their vision and it matched ours. BEST DECISION EVER. I mean look at this place. And their customer service.. Over the top!! I could go on for days. Just know, the insanely beautiful space is just the icing on the cake. It's the people there that make this place what it is. Which leads me to our wedding coordinator Kaitlynn Montgomery. An angel in human form. This girl, y'all. I messaged her at least once a week with another ridiculous idea. And she encouraged me on every single one of them. Anyone who knows me knows how annoyingly Type A I am and how I prefer to do things myself and plan every detail to nauseam. Kaitlynn took SO much off my plate. If I asked her about something or suggested something, she had already taken care of it 3 days prior. She was always 5 steps ahead of me at all times. She single handily took my stress level down 1,000 notches on a daily basis. Every single last detail or idea that we came up with for this wedding would absolutely have never been possible without Kaitlynn. She brought it all to life. And Ellyse.. Her and Kaitlynn worked their butts off together on our wedding day and it was perfect. Every time I saw Ellyse that day, she was smiling ear to ear and it immediately put my nerves at ease. These two girls are just the absolute sweetest and SO freaking good at their jobs. Now, one of the most important guy of the night... Our alcohol and bar concierge, Hunter!! I remember calling him one day thinking, he is going to kill me and I'm about to make him hate his job I was like, So I was thinking about cocktail hour and how it would be cool to serve hand-crafted blueberry mojitos named after our dog in 150 coconut cups with stir sticks that have our dog's face on them. Oh and I want them all displayed on shelves with signs and the whole works. He was like, hell yeah, you got it. Not only that, he insisted on pulling out all the tricks. Infusing his own simple syrup with mint and having us over TWICE to taste the recipe and make sure it was perfect. He loves his job and it shows. He took full ownership of the bar and making sure we didn't even have to think about it. THANK YOU HUNTER!!! In summary,14TENN was an absolute dream come true and we cannot recommend them enough. Thank you for EVERYTHING. We love y'all!
