Love this place, the eating area is nice and clean with good ac, the customer service is also great as well. And of course the food is always delicious and hot when it comes out.

This hidden gem is located right on white lane in a small industrial park. The kitchen itself is in a food truck but they do have a small space inside with about 5/6 tables. Not the best place for a large group but for small groups or to take to go this place is great. The salsas were both delicious and great portions. The owner was super friendly and inviting and we can't wait to go back again.

Was lucky enough to drive by Chilaki's not knowing it even existed and stopped to pick up some chilaquiles. I love chilaquiles and was excited to try this mini spot. The owners were super kind and offered me the menu with a variety of options. I pretty much knew that i wanted chilaquiles Rojas. Luckily I live close by and was able to enjoy them while they were still hot and ready to enjoy. I absolutely loved them and would definitely order from them again! Give them a try!

Tried this place on a whim this weekend and was super impressed. My girlfriend and I both ordered red salsa and it was delicious. The service was quick and efficient, and the couple who runs it were very friendly and helpful. If you love chilaquiles, give this place a shot!

If you LOVE chilaquiles then this place is for you! It's a small food truck. My husband ordered the chilaquiles plate w/ chipotle sauce, asada meat, 2 sunny side eggs & the toppings they offer minus cilantro & he really loved it he said it was the right amount of spice without over doing it. Now they do offer tacos & tortas as well but I would stay clear of ordered just a torta as it doesn't have any spread nor the bread to meat ratio is way off. I felt like I was eating more bread than anything else. My mom got 2 tacos & she also said they were okay for the most part. So that's why I would just recommend the chilaquiles since my husband seem to enjoy his meal the most. Besides the food, they do have a little shop where you can sit and eat, it's small but it will do. When we went it wasn't busy so there was room for us to sit & also it felt nice inside not hot at all. The food did take some time to get to us but they had the tv going and our conversation with each other flowing we didn't notice how long it took. Anyways if we're back would be just for the chilaquiles but might be awhile until we're back as we're not usually on that side of town.

The food was delicious and the staff were super welcoming and helpful! Would definitely recommend giving this place a try for traditional chilaquiles! Super great experience had a great time and loved supporting a local business! *Honorable mention the cook even came out to chat and ask how was everything and if we liked everything.*

Chilaquiles with red sauce, top plate with milanesa, and chorizo. Bottom plate with asada.

Chilaki's is an absolute gem! The chilaquiles were amazing! The chips were the perfect mix of crispy and saucy, loaded with flavor, and topped generously. The plates were served beautifully and the portions were great. The service was just as impressive: friendly, fast, and super welcoming. The vibrant décor and cozy setup made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by Chilaki's if you want delicious food and great vibes. I'll definitely be coming back!

My husband found this hidden Gem and oh my goodness the best tasting chilaquiles I ever had! The flavors explodes in your mouth! I got the plate with green chile and you can tell that their salsa is homemade! Their refried beans are so soft and melt in your mouth! I highly recommend this spot!

The place is very cute and the service was great! The menu is simple, but I do wish they had more salsa options. I got the red chilaquiles and my husband got the green -- both salsas were really good. I also liked that they use real queso fresco instead of mozzarella like most places. They were a little too soupy for my taste, but the chilaquiles still had a nice crunch, and the beans were really good.

These are some of the best chilaquiles I've ever had! They are jam packed with flavor, I got the chilaquiles torta. The torta can definitely feed two people it's so big! The staff is super quick with getting your order out. It may be a food truck but they have a small indoor space where you can eat your food, it's cozy.

First off it was a steady flow of customers for a Wednesday evening. Many birthdays! We were sat immediately and waiter came to take our drink order. I had a mango chamoy margarita, while my husband got a roasted chili cucumber margarita on the rocks. His drink was SPICY! I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered the chicken and steak molcajete. Our food was brought out super fast! The portions - humongous! But the food is so good! My husband is super picky when it comes to Mexican food, and he said this molcajete is his favorite so far compared to other Mexican restaurants we've been to. I couldn't really taste the difference between the Paloma and the margarita ‍. The place is decorated really nice but what they should've focused on was making agood food. I'm so glad I only ordered appetizers because had I ordered food I would've wasted so much money. Birria tacos simply taste like red beef tacos, no real authentic flavor. Shrimp skewers I was told was okay but even that had more veggies than actual shrimps. The rice wasn't cooked all the way. The presentation on nachos was excellent but the nachos were gross. No flavor in guacamole. Beans were plain beans bland af. The chicken wasn't seasoned and had an awful charbroiled taste, just awful! The salsa weren't spicy or tasty. I can only recommend this place for a good happy hour spot because prices are outrageous for drinks. Once again they should've focused on the food than the decor.

The place is pretty easy to find on the corner of 18th & R. There isn't a lot of seating for more than parties of 4. We were a party of 6 and we all smooshed into a horseshoe booth inside. There are only 2 of these booths available and they indicated they are not able to place additional seating at the booths. I imagine you might be able to put tables together outside for a larger party. We were greeted warmly, and while I felt overwhelmed by the amazing choices, the gal taking our order put me at ease by walking me through the menu board. We got amazing carnitas quesadillas and tacos and another dish that came on top of a mound of delicious fries. It's the kind of place where you order, then sit down and they bring you the food. We were well taken care of. Our drinks were refilled and they brought us 'to go' boxes. Their portions are generous and just tasty. And the iced tea was perfect! To make things worse, about 10 minutes before closing, they turned the lights all the way up and shut the music off, which made it very clear we were being pushed out. No one came by to offer boxes for our food (I had more than half my meal left), and my guest didn't even get to finish her drink.
