Expect to wait 4 or more hours even with an appointment. They give you a 15 minute grace period but do not honor it. Came in for an appointment at 12pm. I arrived 7 mins late which would be part of the grace period. There was a line with about 6 people in front of me waiting to be checked in and one receptionist. I waited 17 mins to get checked in. Then the receptionist says, I am late to checking in when I arrived at 12:07 and waited for 17 mins in line and there's a 15 minute grace period. She gave me another appointment time for 2 hours later. They need to define what they consider "grace period" in the text reminders and voicemails they send you or they shouldn't add it in the first place. The doctors we have seen have been nice and great. But receptionists need more training and better attitudes. It's also very hot in the waiting room and not enough space for people to wait in there. Everyone mostly waits in their cars. For a children's "institute" they need to make some changes. read more

Also, the office is freezing, and they don't have enough chairs for all the children. The waiting period is too long--it takes like two to 3 hours for the whole process, if not more. Also, when you try to schedule or reschedule the appointment, The don't answer the phone--it takes 30 minutes or more for them to answer, and they're pretty rude on the phone. They might make you wait even longer after they answer, and once you finally talk to someone, they transfer you to another person who never calls you back or answers. It's just crazy. Our wait was not long enough for me to finish filling out the papers they handed me. I was referred by our Peds doctor because my child had the worst sty ever. The receptionist gave a next day appointment, she did say it would be a long appointment so I was to bring snacks and something to entertain my child. I was the second person there. The staff was very friendly. My son did not take to the male doctor who say him, he is not the best with male doctors. Even though he tried to be funny my son was not having it. All in all it was a good appointment, they gave me good recommendations to help his sty drain faster and with in a day it had ruptured and cleared up. read more

I am not one to complain, but this was by far the worst experience I have had with any doctors office. Not only was the office staff not super kind or helpful, but the wait time was absolutely not worth coming. Our appointment was at 10 AM and we didn't get out of there until 240. We were called in pretty quickly for dilation and was told it would take about 40 minutes. That turned into three hours. New patient referred by pediatrician for my child, trying to schedule an appointment. Called phone number 909-931-9675 several times. Operator answers the phone and transfers you to an extension where no one will answer your call and there is not an option to leave a voicemail. The phone rings endlessly. Phone automated system says, please listen carefully as the menu options have changed, but the only option given, is to speak with the operator, who is literally no help. I called several times and each time, it was the same scenario. At one point, someone did pick up and I heard hold music for just a second and then back to the phone ringing again with no answer and no option to leave a voicemail. Honestly I do not even know how this office gets patients at this point. We were referred here and it was near to impossible to get an appointment scheduled. Finally got an appointment and we were seen. I get a bill MONTHS later. And when they send the bill I cannot get a hold of anyone to ask questions. I also haven't even received my children's records. I have left multiple voicemails over the last couple weeks. Nobody has attempted to call me back. If I would have known it would have been so difficult to get a follow up or get my records, I wouldn't have brought my kid here. I find it ridiculous I cannot even get a hold of someone to get my child's records. Her other doctor needs to know the results of her visit. Terrible service! Do Not go here unless you have 4+ hours to waste. Their staff is extremely rude, unhelpful, and very unprofessional from front desk, to schedulers, to the clinic administrator (Jennifer). They all put the blame on each other for why you're not being seen at the time of your appointment, and their excuse is always "we only have one doctor." It's a constant issue and patients are always complaining and walking out on them. Then they dilate your kids eyes and make you wait in your car for hours before they call you back in. Or they take you back to review what you're there for with the assistant and then they send you back out to wait again because the doctor doesn't have any rooms open. Ok so all these bad reviews make you want to think twice about going here. They complain about long wait times and rude staff etc. First the appointment time is not unreasonable long take in kind of they have to dilate eyes it takes about 30-45 min just for that. Second how is the staff rude if you are waiting in your car lol I'm assuming people go up to the staff to complain and therefore get a rude response such as it's in the papers you signed lol. The staff was not necessary super nice but they aren't rude they are doing their job. I had no complaints was there for 3 hrs and it went by fast . My daughters appointment was on 8/17 I received a statement on 8/21 and again on 9/21 saying two different price amounts and also saying my balance is 90 days past due and will be sent to a collection agency. Dr. Siegel is wonderful! Lauren at the office wonderful! Thank you both so much for everything you've done for my daughter and helping her get the care she needs. I would 100% recommend The Children's Eye Institute and I do all the time. Dr Siegel diagnosed my daughter with a very serious and critical eye/brain condition (IIH) in Jan. 2021 and here it is Sept. 2021 and he is still helping her get to the specialist she needs to see.
