Crispy chicken taco and green chili cup with tortilla
    Krystal M.

Needed a quick eat while on lunch break from Jury Duty. Saw this place is directly across from the Courthouse. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is very vibrant and colorful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was greeted right away the staff was very friendly and attentive, checking on my refills and asking if there was anything I needed. I liked the create your own plate option. I ordered a crispy chicken taco and cup of green chili. I am very particular about green chili having grown up here and having many varieties. I absolutely loved it here. Just enough spice and not too thin so you could eat it with a tortilla. I will definitely be back out company so we can try some of the margaritas as well!

I've been very disappointed the last few times I came in. Come to find out the dish I love so much the chili Rellano is not on the menu and is only a special. However, every time I called to see if it's available they never have it so I haven't come back in.

Food was excellent and so was the service. They were very welcoming when we got there and were so nice. The food was just as my grandma used to make it and that's why we come here. Their chile Colorado is very good with their fried potatoes. And their green chile slopper is really good.

Drive up from Pueblo and wanted to try this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were only a few people there at the time I went. Parking wasn't an issue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got a beer and chips and salsa. I decided to order and got the chile colorado. While waiting I filled up on chips and salsa. Dinner arrived and the Chile Colorado wasn't what I was expecting although it looked good. It was different than the one I had in California. Service was very good and polite. Would I return yes.

Please be warned. The food is so bad like really bad. I guess first sign is beige "green" sauce for the enchiladas. Our waitress took the tacos off the bill so that says how it tasted but again i've been to places that wouldn't have taken it off the bill. EXTREMELY nice staff, our waitress was kind so could tell she didn't mean any harm and is just a nice lady. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's also such a cute place so what a shame that the food was probably the worst mexican food i've eaten.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm also from california so i know good mexican food

Torn on my rating. Wish Yelp would add a way to do a half star rating. Chile Colorado would get a 2.5 from me. Not great but not a bust either. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant looks really cool. I really dug the graffiti mural. I kept checking it out during our visit. Brightly lit and colorful space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was slooow. We had 4 people in our party, one of which we were waiting for. Our server basically waited until our 4th person came to get the ball rolling. Would have liked to get drinks and apps started. When we asked for "a minute" server tended to come back 10 minutes later each time. While I appreciate not being hounded, the slow pace was a little too slow. Food. Rather "eh". Everyone liked the chips and salsa, and sadly that was our highlight. I had the slopper, the pork green chile was crazy salty, like off-puttingly so. The fries could have been excellent but were not fully cooked. The rice - took one bite and was like "nope". Everyone liked their margs and the price was right. I think Chile Colorado has potential. Killer spot near the Pikes Peak Center. I won't likely be back unless I have a friend who can vouch for a better experience.

    $15...

Criminally overpriced. Portion sizes were not listed on menu Paid 15 dollars for only a pint of Chile and 2 flour tortillas.

Oh my gosh this is the best green chili I have had in years!! All the food is hand made to include tortillas and chili I would go for all three meals! I had the smothered breakfast burrito with hand cut potatoes and of course green chili

This place is a vibe! The customer service and the music was A1. They had the old school music playing I needed the playlist bad lol. The chips and trip dip came out. I was pleased to see that the chips were homemade and very crunchy. The dips were pretty tasty and the combination of the three together were even better lol. They didn't have a burrito that didn't have any meat since they beans are made with meat I had to opt for the Cheese Enchiladas and rice. It was good but I have a feeling the burrito would've been a lot better. We were too full for dessert but it's a place that is now added to the list so we'll be back for sure!

This small family restaurant exceeded our expectations. Family run, not a chain. We had excellent friendly service and fresh delicious food.

You can park in a pay lot next to the Hotel It's at the floor level of or you can park on the street and pay metered parking. We chose metered. I dislike the scan & pay lots. You walk in & you should review the menu prior & pay up front, and then your menu selections will be delivered to your table. It's a beautiful set up, it reminds me of a greenhouse there's large wooden tables, & smaller black tables in a glass encased area with several hanging plants. There are also many table/booth combinations inside. We ordered: Hobo sandwich with seasoned cubed potatoes Slice of quiche Side of season potatoes Beet salad (added grilled chicken) An iced tea Spicy chai Total was close to $80 average for brunch definitely not terrible once you see the quality of what comes out of the kitchen. Tasting it all was amazing - flavorful, thoughtfully prepared & great attention to detail including sourcing great ingredients and using the correct spices! I cannot wait to come back and try something else!

This has been put on our no list now. When we ordered today, my son asked about Caesar salad and the woman at the counter did not say that they didn't have them. Then when they brought the food out, she said it's not an option. Why not say it when we ordered. Last time my bowl was missing the goat cheese, and I had to ask for it. I also added chicken and mushrooms to my bowl and I literally received about 5-6 mushrooms, which equals more than a dollar a mushroom. This time, my side salad was supposed to have balsamic and had another dressing. My son had the burger and said that the consistency was weird. My other son had the same sandwich he always has and the bread was different, though the menu didn't indicate that it was.

Figured I'd go before the farmers market across the street in Acacia Park. I got the bookworm latte and it was so good. I was worried it would be too sweet (it was a little sweet), but the brown sugar cinnamon syrup they make really balanced it out. It was so good. It was creamy, dreamy, and the caramel was decadent. I didn't get any food--just the coffee unfortunately, but I do plan on coming back! $7.25 (I think) for a latte is a bit pricey, but the drink is really good. So if you're gonna spend a bit extra, go there for a coffee instead of Starbucks. Service was quick for a long line and the hanging plants and lights made for such a great vibe. I cannot wait to come back and try their breakfast and more lattes!
