I really enjoy this place. Every time I go in I'm satisfied with service, food, pricing and cleanliness. Their wait time for a meal is also very low. They are a well maintained business with good management and high standards. My family owns a restaurant down the street. I know it's hard to keep your business up but today when I went to get take out amongst covid I felt they had taken good precautions as far as cleanliness in this time. Only thing is that I had to touch the door to open it (because they don't want to let flies in) so be prepped with a glove or napkin. I enjoy this place thoroughly. Potato tacos are fire. Cheese enchilada is always on point. Lots of cheese. :) Im a vegetarian though.! Sauces are yum. Didn't get to have chilaquiles today but they have a decent one! read more

However it was completely flavorless and i really couldnt distinguish a difference in flavor from the carne asada or the beans besides the texture.. I think when they're really on they're on. I've had wonderful catered food from the Artesia location many times. Unfortunately, I planned to have the Artesia Chile Verde cater my mother's birthday party and initially, the young lady who answered the phone at the Artesia location said they don't even cater... so that was weird, she could've been new (first red flag). I had to call around until the Inglewood Ave. and Manhattan Beach location (the best location in my opinion) helped me out and said they would give my order to the Artesia location (second red flag). The day of, they showed up an hour early with the food and didn't have the order I made with the Redondo Beach Chile Verde (third strike). They waited in the parking lot until I could get to the party location and then I paid them for what they did have. There wasn't enough food at my mother's party and it was kind of disappointing that the food wasn't warm enough (I understand a large order won't be hot but don't show up an hour before the party with the food). I called about my order and I couldn't get ahold of anyone for days because they "don't have managers" at their store. Eventually, a nice lady helped me confirm the food delivered was accounted for on my receipt (even though it wasn't all I ordered originally). A lot of the downfall was probably just misunderstandings, but it sucks to be on the losing end. I would not depend on them for another event. read more

One of the best hard tacos spot in town! There is a taco Tuesday deal which is great! All of the food here is tasty. Every time I come it's nice and clean inside and the services is an A+ . This was our favorite taco Tuesday place until today. Last Tuesday I called in an order to save time, I pick it up and took it home and I didn't get the 6 tacos I ordered & paid for. So I called and left message the same number I placed the order. I tried calling back 2 more times later that night & same recording. I went in today & ordered at register. I told her what happened & she told me they don't pick-up phone messages at this location. That I should have come back in that same night. So this is my last order. They don't seem to care about repeat customers. As I've been here at least 10 times food was decent but lack customer service very disappointing. Check your order before your leave, or they will make no effort to fix it later. read more

Got a coupon in the mail, so thought I'd stop in to try breakfast. Figured 8:15 was safe if they open at 8. Walked up to a locked door with a woman on the other side saying no one was in the back. Only posting because I figure the owners might want to know, unless they were the ones to not arrive. I hardly expect this to happen anywhere, but at a franchised establishment I feel it makes the parent company look bad. I'll continue to grab dinner take-out here, but will never waste time in my morning again. Finally gave this place a shot. They advertise 1.79 taco Tuesdays but I went ahead and did the 2 tacos plus chips and drink for 4.70 with free refills of any drink you want including Horchata, Wow. The shredded beef crispy tacos were excellent. The meat was flavorful and the shell did not break apart. lettuce and tomatoes were bright in color and most importantly Fresh. Salsa was excellent but i insisted on taking a bite of a fresh Serrano chili...thanks again for free refills cuz that little guy was Hot. I will definitely go back to try the Chile Verde plate. Food is GREAT but I doubt they train staff with basic customer service guidelines. Called 4 times on my way in, no answer. With 30 minutes to closing, I didn't think they'd be too busy to at least pick up and put me on hold. I walked in, two females sweeping, two guys in the kitchen. Girl behind the counter saw me walk in and continued sweeping and carrying her conversation on with cooks in kitchen through service window. Stood there for at least 2 minutes before she stopped talking, put the broom down, then addressed me. I asked if phones weren't working, response was a fake smile and "I was busy". I mentioned I called multiple times, and that I've been standing there listening to her socialize. Another fake smile was flashed and she asked for my order. As I waited for my food her coworker approached the counter and exclaimed "you haven't done this yet?!", obviously irritated with her as well. Never coming here again ! The type of place you go in a good mood exited to get food and come out pissed because of the cashiers horrible lack of customer service ! The lady with hot pink and purple hair flower shoulder tattoo , couldn't get her name but omg since I came in she yelled hi how can I help you ?! I asked for a 3 chicken taco plate as simple as that , she kept asking so many questions about the order including what type of meat right afteri said chicken , she also denied adding more cheese and that she is not allowed because is extra ! I said it's ok I'll pay after that she said well is because they don't carry that type of cheese there even though some plates come with it ! and lots of non sense , i kept repeating the same things over again , I was so frustrated . Her attitude was rushing and loud , I waited more than 20 minuets seeing new customers come and go , once everyone left she looks at me and says "have you been helped ?" I said I'm waiting for my order , she was lost and didn't remember and started asking the cook about my order and the Cook took over to let her know that the plate was ready long ago and he placed it where he is supposed to ! . Point is she gave it to someone else ! He apologized very kindly to me and had a great leadership , the cook only , he needs a promotion and a raise but that lady shouldn't work with customer service, she fits perfectly working at the swap meet yelling ! Lastly I asked for a refund and she asked for my receipt and I had to dig it from the trash because she refused to help me without it so when I gave it to her she finally gave me my money back !
