I have been here for years and years . The service is always great and the restaurant is always clean and inviting. The servings have gotten a bit smaller while the prices gave gotten a bit larger but this is happening everywhere so it's really no biggie, but I still thought I'd mention it. But the portions are still a nice size in no way do I feel as though I'm getting ripped off. I love that the food is made to order, donuts always fresh and hot. The parking lot is shared with a few other businesses but there is still ample parking . Some spots are even right in front of the business. I have been coming here for years and have never had one problem with the food not the service Great job Chili Verde, I'll be back real soon. read more

Taco Tuesday is generally the time I visit this chain as their hard shelled tacos are $2 instead of the usual $3. In either case, they're pretty prompt when ordering for takeout as it only took them 5-7 minutes to make my order. The tacos taste good enough to fill you up. It's also worth noting that some Chile Verdes give you a free bag of salsa chips and this establishment is not one of them. read more

We ordered 2 quesa taco de barbacoa, and an Asada burrito. I'd definitely give the quesa tacos 8/10 only because the tortilla wasn't a hard shell. The Asada Burrito 6/10 the meat was yummy but just wasn't all that just rice and beans ‍ BUT i didn't get salsa, so maybe that's why it was ehh. The service 10/10 the lady (didn't catch her name) but she was friendly. The Ambiance was alright typical mexican restaurant was clean tho :) didn't check the bathroom though. read more

I'm tired of giving this place my money. I've only ordered a bean & cheese burrito and I pay to add rice. They always put one scoop of rice on one side of the burrito and the other side is all beans. If I wanted an all bean burrito I would've asked for that. The cheese is rubbery, it doesn't taste real or melted at all. I can't continue to disappoint myself so I'll just find somewhere else to go from now on. There is only 1 short chubby male cashier and he seems to be the manager. The jerk couldn't even apologize for my complaint. Don't waste your time or money everyone. read more

It's it the same as it use to be. Most consistent item would be the salsa. Each time I order my food is different from the previous time. Prices are higher and I'm assuming due to higher food cost for the same average food. Kinda make u wanna give the competition close by a try, after all what do u have to lose. read more

I am a local resident and frequent customer of this location of Chile Verde. I love their hard shell chicken and shredded beef tacos and would sell my soul for their shredded beef taquitos and guacamole! I usually come over in 2-4 times per week because the food, customer service, and quick service makes my busy life that much easier. I'm already a die hard fan but my experience yesterday has rocked me to core and solidified me as a life long customer. Long story short (well as short as I can make it while putting the experience in context) ...I had dashed into the restaurant to pick up my pre-ordered order and, true-to-form, I habitually set my keys down on the edge of the salsa bar while I got my lemon and salsa fix together. A sweet gentleman that was already there inadvertently picked up my keys, and left with them, and I didn't even notice it. As I headed back to my car, I realized I didn't have my keys...and this is where it all begins! I went back into the restaurant to see if I had left them near the salsa bar - nope not there. I went back to me car to see if I'd left them there - nope not there either. I replayed my steps and was certain I'd had them when I went in (plus my car was locked and I can only lock my car with the computerized keyless entry key) so I knew I had them when I went in. As the reality set in that I had lost my only key (misplaced my spare a while ago and never got around to going into the dealership and paying the $300 plus replacement fee for a new spare but that's a whole other issue) and as yesterday's rain began to torrentially fall more heavily ...I began to freak out and tear up. The wonderful front counter lady and gentleman who I regularly see and conduct business with (and yes, it's a crying shame that I do not know their names but I will definitely ask for and commit them to memory on my very next visit) proceeded blessed me beyond measure!!! They could have easily discarded my dismay but the lady let me not only use her cell phone but offered me her AAA card to call for a locksmith and/or tow. The gentleman then allowed me to use the restaurant phone to try to call my Momma and son to see if one of them could head up there and keep me from losing my natural mind...(frustrated and on the brink of tears, I needed family in that cold, rainy, flip flop and thin t-shirt wearing moment) After at least a dozen calls home (apparently the rain/weather was creating an issue so that calls to my Momma wouldn't go through or went straight to voicemail and my son likely didn't recognize the number and wasn't answering)...my desire to remains composed and calm began to deteriorate. These fine folks stepped up and extended a helping hand and consistently checked on me, helped me keep calm, and so much more...and I will never forget how compassionate and caring they were to me. My typical $11 dollar order ended up being nearly $500 by the time I paid the locksmith, AAA renewal fee, tipped everybody that helped me out including the AAA tow truck driver, and paid the dealership key fees...but I know things could've been far worse had it not been for these AMAZING EMPLOYEES! I will never forget how helpful and compassionate they were to me and I am OFFICIALLY a die hard customer for life and once I get their names and an inkling of something they need or want..."it is done!" I usually throw a dollar or my change back in their tip jar but they'll be getting no less than $5/visit from me moving forward. PLUS, with out my asking, the gentleman checked the cameras and confirmed that the sweet older gentleman had picked up my keys, told me he was a regular customer, took my phone number down, and told me he would inquire with him on his next visit and hopefully be able to get my keys back. "LESSON LEARNED, FAITH IN HUMANITY RESTORED, ETERNALLY GRATEFUL, and will always patron this restaurant and cherish the BLESSINGS they bestowed upon me!!!" The cooks are the only good part about this place. The food is amazing but the service sucks. The only people who work thier are overweight females with attitude who are lazy and they rush you. No one there is happy and they don't refill anything until it completely empty. Also they don't treat black people right. In addition make sure you read the menu because they go out if the way to overcharge you at every Opportunity! Double check your orders before you leave because they never get it right. read more

After appliance shopping at Lowe's, we decided to try this spot. I wasn't expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the shredded beef crunchy taco and shredded beef enchilada plate. It was very delicious. My husband had the wet burrito with carnitas, and he also raved about it. My kids had the taquito kids' plate, and they ate it ALL!!! The salsa is (looks like a salsa fresca) was bomb!!! We look forward to trying more items off the menu. Customer service was 10/10. I'm not sure why this place has bad reviews. 2 and a half stars? No I know why. Staff is not friendly by a mile, not mean just not pleasant at all. No "hi or Welcome" in pleasant tone. Very dry Hi... Ok I got a wet burrito and it comes in red sauce and yet thry are called Green Chile, can't make this stuff up. Call your restaurant Chile Rojo then (Red Chile). My mistake for assuming, but their mistake assuming the customer knows. Take 10 seconds and ask gree or red salsa. Take some pride in your work and your character. Even if you make minimum wage, then be the world's best minimum wage employee. Sadly, some people just won't go far in life and it's not due to oppression, it's due to ignorance. read more

First time I order from here. I ordered 1 quesa Birria taco, 1 fish taco and 1 nacho. Let me tell you this is absolutely delicious and hit the spot. The Birria taco came with a side of consommé and both were very flavorful (no lime given) the fish taco was absolutely one of my favorites but still doesn't compete with taco nazo, and the nachos were really good as well. I will be ordering from here again while I'm here visiting California. read more

They have an all-day breakfast section on the menu. It's hit or miss but they have a tasty egg, bean and cheese burrito and bean and cheese burrito. I've been to almost every Mexican food place in the area and this place is at the top. However, it can be sketchy from time to time. Today the music was loud in the kitchen and we could hear women yelling or arguing in the back. Eeeek. My egg, bean and cheese burrito was overwhelmed by the amount of cheese. I tossed half of it. I only get the hard shell tacos here. I normally order either the shredded beef or shredded chicken tacos. Both are good, but the chicken tacos are my favorite. The taco shells are deep fried, which makes it really crispy. The meat are always seasoned well. The toppings (lettuce, tomatoes and shredded cheddar cheese) are always fresh. Each order comes with a side of tortilla chips, which are also good. Despite their delicious tacos, I'm only giving them 3 stars because I've tried other items in their extensive menu and they all tasted just average. They also only have two types of salsa (mild and hot). Also, the tables are not always clean. I've had to clean them myself before eating. read more

Super laid back great spot to grab breakfast with friends and family or even impress that one foodie friend you haven't seen in a while! Now to the food! I ordered the Best Avocado toast, house made chimichurri, honey, nori goma, radish, and power green, sourdough! Fantastic so good prob the best avocado I've ever had ngl I've had some good ones but yeah wasn't overly sweet either had a great balance truly enjoyed this one! I also ordered a Breakfast croissant, well because I'm a foodie, which was absolutely delicious! Super flakey croissant with egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato, bacon, spicy mayo. Egg and bacon cooked just right all the flavors came together like a perfect bite every time. Even the tomato was red and brought a nice touch to the whole sandwich. The waitress was super busy as she was the only one running the front. She crushes it I've seen bigger restaurants struggle with more staff and less people. Thank you so much for letting change tables mid dinning to sit outside is the sun!!! I was truly impressed because this was the type of restaurant I was looking for this morning near my hotel and had healthy breakfast options and was local! Absolutely coming back to this gem anytime I'm in the area.. Thank you so Toast & Thai love your little cafe! Can't wait to try the other menu items, like the Biscotti's lovers waffles!!!

Quality was great and the space itself is large and open. They have free parking in a spacious lot behind the restaurant. They also have a patio in the back with additional seating. Last night I ordered their turkey burger (BOGO), onion rings (w/ burger sauce) and tater tots...I also ordered a side of bbq sauce and ranch sauce... No, I didn't eat all of that all at once. It was nice finally getting to sit down and enjoy the food fresh. I ordered the mushroom burger with chili cheese fries, and both hit the spot. The burger was juicy and loaded with flavorful mushrooms, and the fries were a great, hearty side. The fries portion was also huge so it was great to share as well. The service was smooth and convenient. You can order either at the register or through a kiosk, which I liked since it shows pictures of the food. The kiosk also helped me discover items I didn't notice on the menu board, like the mushroom burger and chili cheese fries, which ended up being great choices. The dining area is on the smaller side with just a few tables, but when we went it wasn't busy at all, so there was plenty of seating. I've always enjoyed their burgers, and this visit was no different.
