Do not order the Chili!! We have frequented the Chili's in Southlands mall for years. Tonight we had a taste for chili so it made since that the restaurant with that name would at least have at least an above average chili. First, we ordered 3 chili's and only one was brought out to the car. Luckily, I looked in the bag before o drive off. Next, this was the worst all three of us had. Maybe we just got a really bad batch. It was so salty the only way to eat it was to add a ton of cheese to it, to damper the taste. Certainly won't be our go to place for chili ever again. read more

The outside of the restaurant had trash everywhere. We went there lunch at 11:00am. The bartender was excellent. The waitstaff was something else. Waitstaff were eating over the counter where the food is ready for serving the guests. They would play with their hair, put their fingers in their mouths, be on their cell phones, etc... The bartender would prepare the drinks and the waitstaff was not prompt in delivering the drinks. Drinks were returned to the bar. In addition, Our french fries were not crisp or hot and neither were the onion rings. We will not be back. read more

Worst experience. We ordered a vegetarian burger and a pair of sliders. Both took about a half hour to make, the sliders were so cold I though they were taken out of the refrigerator and the "chefs" slapped on a few slices of bacon onto this vegetarian burger. My boyfriend sent it back since he is vegetarian, and it was sent back out to us 20 minutes later with chunks of bacon remaining: despite the fact they attempted to make it appear as though they remade the entire thing. It was then sent back a third time, after my sliders were sent back again for being so cold. The French fries were so soggy and stale... I could go on and on.Overall, terrible experience. Kitchen manager needs to be retrained because he was terrible even when we asked to speak to a manager. Do not go to this chilis and waste your money. read more

I am beyond disappointed in this location. A few months ago, we ate inside of the restaurant. My daughter's chicken was like rubber. The manager couldn't even be bothered to come to our table. Last night we ordered curbside. After waiting 50 minutes beyond the established pick-up time, my husband told the server to cancel the order. Today I saw that my credit card was still charged. I called and spoke to a manager who didn't offer any sort of apology, and it will take 2-3 weeks for my credit card to be credited. In a time when the restaurant industry is struggling, you'd think customer service would be of top priority. Clearly, that's not what is happening with this Chili's location. Food was good but 2 of the 6 orders got a little messed up and we corrected one of the orders and the manager said they would comp it but it still ended up on the check which they corrected. The bar drinks took almost half an hour to come to the table. And none of this would have been a huge deal if we had more time to just kill but we needed more efficiency to make it to the airport on time. read more

This Chili's has started to go downhill the last few months...from slow service, to running out of food, to hosts who don't understand how to put people on a waitlist accurately we will not be back. We went today with my five year old who was very hungry and only wanted Chili's. Even after several people were seated ahead of us and we went up twice we were ignored. Terrible experience. The hostess told us it would be 20 minutes. No problem, told her we would be waiting outside. I immediately received a text indicating I would be notified when our table was ready, awesome! Text never showed up. After half an hour I asked the hostess where we were on the list. She laughed that she gave our table to another family. We were seated immediately after the party she called indicated they were at the bar. The service was pretty good though the Manager came by after I finished a Stella Artois and asked if I wanted another. I told him no thanks I would take a Sam Adams Oktoberfest. I received two Sam Adams and a Stella. I told the waitress I didn't order the Stella. She took it back to the bar where it sat for about 40 minutes opened until apparently someone else ordered one and they served it. I am sure whoever did wouldn't appreciate it sat open for 40 minutes opened at the bar. The kitchen was a disaster as well. We will never come back to this Chilis. read more

This location has been struggling for a long time. I have been an avid Chilis fan for years but will no longer continue to support this particular location. The food is often less than par quality and never, ever consistent. The service is hit or miss. Waited for 30 minutes for my To-Go order this evening and than the order was STILL WRONG! I might as well of dined in at this point. Let the manager know we would not be taking the food as it was wrong and that we did not want to wait to make it correct as we already waited 30mins. His response was, "ok, have a good night." That's it. No apology, no I'm sorry we are slammed, how can I fix this? Nothing. Both bartenders and the manager came over, introduced themselves, and struck up conversations. The margarita was one of the best I've ever had and the service couldn't have been better. Obviously, Chili's is not the place to go for a cutting edge dining experience - or a unique one. But if you want something quick, cheap, and dependable and a better-than-average margarita, you could do worse. And we had really fabulous service today. My son didn't eat his chicken (he thought it was too spicy). We didn't see the point in complaining about it, but they noticed, comped the chicken, and asked us if we'd like them to make some plain chicken for us to take home. We were clearly ready to order as we stuck our menu almost half way out the table. Someone from the wait staff literally knocked one over, and did not ask if we'd been helped upon picking it back up and placing it on the table. I'm aware this is not all Chili's but I'm appalled at management and the staff, here particularly. It wasn't just a bad night, the last time we were here, the pasta was so dry that it hurt to swallow it. I have been to this location a couple times with no major issues. Lastnight I went and the service was HORRIBLE. It took a long time to bring my food which I kind of understood being that they were busy. The guy bring out my food and I politely say "I was suppose to have broccoli and cheese instead of fries." He say "okay I will fix it." He comes back and has the broccoli with no cheese. I reminded him that it should have cheese on it. He comes back with a side of shredded cheese and pretty my tosses it towards me letting me know he was definitely annoyed. I complained to the manager and he apologized as well as my original waiter. I'm here like all the time with my family. This restaurant used to be our favorite until our recent visit. We were immediately seated which is the only good thing. Then when we were at our table we waited for like 10 mins without anyone attending to us and finally when I had to go to the hostess who seated us that finally someone came. So then we ordered our food and when the food finally came we had almost eaten half of it before noticing that one of the salmons was a little raw in the middle. I complained to the waitress who then called the manager out and the only thing he could tell us was there's nothing I could do and that he said it's not raw it's just a vein and all that stuff. I'm so surprise that that's how the manager took care of things. Very disappointed! It's not my first time dining out and the most he could really do if he's trying to satisfy a customer is to not charge you for the raw salmon but he only stood there and look at me and kept saying he can't do anything about it. I ordered a fairly decent amount of food with my husband Friday night, we had asked for the meals themselves to be Togo, but ordered a few margaritas and a skillet queso for while we waited. The server, Tegan, was clearly in the weeds at the bar, she was flustered and really let it show. I witnessed the manager give her more of a sympathetic shoulder wiggle than any actual assistance, and her obvious nonchalant attitude was seriously infuriating. Our skillet queso showed up sans skillet, and about fifteen minutes later, Tegan finally took our order then. We stayed in good spirits, even though we were in a hurry, and ended up just staying there and eating a desert along with our apps. We weren't hungry anymore, so I took the bag of Togo food home, and never gave it a second glance, it would be my meal for my double the next day at work. When I went to eat my food I realized it wasn't even there, the only food I had for the day wasn't even there! Chili's was closed by the time I got off work, and you just know you can't go back after an entire day has passed. I wasn't do disappointed with the bartender, as it was clear she was doing everything she can, but shame on management, for poor staffing on a Friday night, and not doing anything while your team clearly struggled. read more

Ordered Chilis-To-Go due to my boyfriend messing up his ankle. Placed my order online which was easy! Said my order would be ready at 12:25pm on a Friday. I got there at 12:20pm so that I made sure my food didn't sit for too long. Went in and to the bar (per the sign on the To-Go counter). A lady walked by and said, "one moment." 5 minutes later and watching multiple staff stand around talking that same lady came back and asked if I had a To-Go order. She told me my total and I told her I paid online. She said that it didn't go through. I asked her to check. As she was checking I looked on my phone and noticed that the amount was taken from my bank account. I explained that it went through. She insisted I pay again. She went and got the manager who also said I didn't pay yet. I was about ready to walk out. They realized that I did pay and off I went. I got home (2 miles away). I opened the food and it did not look good. I ordered chicken with sweet potato fries. The chicken was cold and the fries were extremely soggy from the juices of the chicken. We both ate about 1/2 of our food and the rest went to the dogs. Was really bummed as the To-Go option was very handy thought when pizza just isn't what we're craving. read more
