Sooo, i don't frequent chili's often but I decided to go since it had been a while. To start, it was a Saturday night, so I understand it being a little on the busy side. I was with a party of four, and we were told the wait was 30 minutes which was accurate as we were seated after about 30 min. Once being seated, it wasn't too long before our waitress came and took our drink and food orders. Since it was busy, I figured there would be a wait in general on the food. It probably took about 20 min to get our food, which I guess seemed pretty reasonable. I ordered the triple decker, a combination of three starters of your choice, with a side of fries. The food overall was mediocre; all of my food was cold, aside from my fries. It took a while for our server to come back and check on us after receiving the food, but at the end of the day I don't know that I'd expect that much from Chili's. read more

Me and my family went to Chili's tonight. I went online first to check for hours and wait times. We drove 24 minutes to be exact to get there and it was paper on the door stating the dining room was closed. It also said you could go to the bar if you have a party under 5. I have been coming to thos Chilis for some time. This was by far the best night I have had. The service was great the wait staff was quick and the food was reallly good. I was full off of the portion and It was season really well. The Trio Fajitas steak, prime rib, and shirmp. The meat was cool well and not dried out or mushy. The shirmp tasted great and the cilantro rice was great and I DO NOT like cilantro but the way it was cooked it was not to strong. I understand the stress that they are in with COVID. Just do not order ToGo. Go during non-rush hours and dine in. They do great at social distancing, the servers are nice, and the food is great. But, if you are planning on a togo order, go somewhere else. It is a completely different world at the togo window. I have done 3 togo orders so far and none of them have ever looked or tasted the same as their dine in orders. It's odd. Bad customer service, bad food, and just don't do it. My most recent order I just received of Bacon Ranch Quesadillas had a hair in it, which has NEVER happened at this location and I blame togo, or the lunch shift chef. When I was there the togo worker said "This lady has been on hold for so long just so she can complain about her order it's ridiculous." (Like I wasn't right there listening lol okay). Where do I start? I should've known better when we sat down to a filthy and sticky floor. Then they didn't have any clean cups for our drinks, so they were brought out in to go cups. My hubby and I went last night for dinner. For a Friday night, we only had about a 5 minute wait. I usually don't notice it, but the longer we were there I couldn't help but notice the noise level was quite high...but to be fair, we were sitting near the bar. I had the chicken fajita quesadillas, and he had the grilled tilapia. Mine was good, and the bite of his I had was pretty tasty too...in fact, he said that it was better than he expected it would be. When the food came out both of our rice were freezing cold and hard. The broccoli was suppose to be steamed however It was raw and hard. The chicken was warm not hot and fresh. The corn on the Cobb was the only thing fresh between both plates. We notified the manager and all he did was ask if wanted our money back. Not even a sorry or tried to fix the mistake. I have been going to this Chili's (Austell Rd. #636) for years but after this experience, I will NEVER go back to any. I never complain about restaurants but what happened on 5/9/21 was intolerable and unacceptable. My husband and kids ordered dinner for Mother's Day because I was home recovering from surgery and couldn't go out. We preordered at 2:20pm online to save time and avoid crowds. We were scheduled for pick up at 4 pm. My husband had to wait for the order until around 5 pm. When he got home the entire order was wrong. We had a wrong entrée, I ordered an Ole Time Burger and got the Boss Burger and my son doesn't eat anything that was on it (smoked brisket, tender rib meat, jalapeno-cheddar smoked sausage, bacon & cheddar with lettuce, tomato), we had 2 missing mini bite kid's meals, no fries with the chicken crisper kids meal, and missing side items in the order. I called the restaurant and explained. I calmly expressed my concern and frustration. I was told my order would re-cooked. I wanted a time to return because the restaurant is a distance from my home, and I wasn't feeling well and decided to return to the restaurant with my husband to ensure we received the correct order, so all of my family members had a meal. I was placed on hold for a manager and waited over 55 minutes to no avail. While I was on hold, I left the house to go to the restaurant, still on hold. When I arrived the manager was dismissive, not concerned, and all she said was my order was being recooked. She acted cavalier and as if she was doing me a favor and barely acknowledged my presence. Non-apologetic and a total lack of management and customer service skills. She didn't identify herself nor did she divulge her name until I asked her and a to go employee. She never offered an explanation why there was a total breakdown in communication for the order, how it was going to be corrected, nor did she offer to compensate me for my time, gas, or the meal which was made incorrectly and missing items I paid for. After waiting in the restaurant for yet another 30 minutes, lightheaded and in pain, I attempted to check the "corrected" order. The only employee who was compassionate and helpful was Anika, definitely not the manager Chastity. She (Anika) should be commended for her customer service and de-escalating the situation, and for working for an incompetent manager like Chastity. Needless to say, my order was still missing items. I caught the fajita wraps before I left the restaurant but fatigued, I failed to realize I was missing all on the condiments for the fajitas until I got home, and yet another issue, my fajita chicken was undercooked. This was the worst Mother's Day meal I have ever had and Chastity in the Austell, Ga location is a horrible manager and provided the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Thank you for a lousy meal scheduled to eat with my family at 4:30 pm which didn't make it to our table until after 7:30 pm. Finally, you need to evaluate Chastity's performance especially the ability to work in a fast-paced environment especially on holidays. My family and I have frequented Chili's over the past two years, but I think tonight we've reached the end. I ordered online for two Just Bacon Burgers, an order of Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers, an order of the Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas, and three of the street corns. I called while I was on the way there to make sure the fries were fresh, and the girl on the line politely said she'd make sure. When I got to the restaurant parking lot and checked in, I noticed that my receipt only had one street corn. I placed an order for the additional two and didn't mind waiting at all. I figured the fries would cool off a little by the time I got home. But the thing is, the fries were not simply cold. They were hard and stale and it was impossible for me to believe they'd just come out of the grease. There was a tomato on one of the burgers when I specifically said NONE (I'm allergic). I was missing my drink, the ranch I paid extra for the tenders, the side of steamed broccoli and one of the street corns I paid for. I was so fed up, I literally packed all of the food back up to take back. The manager was gracious enough to resolve my issue, but I still went without the meals I asked for. Chili's use to be one of my favorite restaurants but with past visits it did not live up to my expectations. Recently I received a gift card and decided to use it here. I was pleasantly surprised and please with my service and overall atmosphere. Seem like the place was updated with different colors, schemes, and menu. My guest and I decided to order the 2 for $35 which consist of each person getting a margarita, shared appetizer, entree, and shared dessert. I added strawberry flavoring to my margarita, which came in a shaker paired with a small glass. The texas cheese fries were good along with the cajun chicken pasta and oreo cake dessert topped with vanilla ice cream. The pasta could use more alfredo sauce in my opinion. What caught my eye was the overall design and style of the menu. The graphics were so clear and sharp. My gift card was $25 so that left about $12 to be paid plus the tip. I was pleased with this visit. I even had leftover pasta to take with me and it warmed up greatly the next day for lunch. Parking is not a problem due to the huge shopping center it is in. If Chili's keep this I will most definitely return. Sometimes this establishment can be a hit or miss i'm glad it was a hit. read more

Please do not waste your time visiting this establishment. My cousin and I do monthly outings where we try restaurants that we have not been to or haven't been in a while. Anyway, this time I was the one who chose the location. I suggested this Chili's on Austell Rd. Now, usually I love Chili's and am a huge fan of it until I came across this particular location. This was around 2pm on Saturday. When we first walked in we were literally standing there for about ten minutes until the hostess noticed us. When she finally took us to the table it was filthy underneath. We asked to be moved and she told us to find a seat somewhere in the "bar" area and motioned for us to go over there. When we went to find a booth all four of them were dirty. The server's excuse was that they were busy, although the place was somewhat empty. They finally cleaned off the booth for us but still left food in the seat of the booth. I also noticed that two older ladies came in the bar area after we did and had to go and ask someone for cleaning supplies to clean off the booth. When they finally brought our food out it was not only overcooked but they also had my cousin's order wrong. I let the manager know everything that was happening and she honestly did not look surprised. The staff and the food are bad, surprised this place is still open. There are so many other better places to eat, I wouldn't spend my money here. Now that I think of it I probably should have looked at their health rating. This Chili's location really gives the good Chili's a bad name. Due to this experience I think I am good on going to Chili's for a really long time. read more

Our waitress was very sweet, but she was obviously really overwhelmed with the volume of people in the restaurant last night, because it took forever to get our drinks and our food. She kept disappearing and by the time she would get back to us either our food was cold, or our coffee was cold. Plus, the Fajitas we ordered was not that good. We ordered the combo beef, chicken and shrimp and the shrimp tasted funny. We brought most of it home and even my moms cats wouldn't touch the shrimp. :-( Plus, for $17 it comes without rice and beans! You have to pay a dollar more! You should know that dining in a chain restaurant will usually result in a fairly consistent experience with each visit. This location is more or less a gamble. I have had both piss poor and stellar service in the past. Today's visit falls closer to the former. I can't totally blame our service on our particular waitress, in fact, I am not sure who it is at the moment because we are bouncing back and forth two; neither of which seem to be particularly happy to be working nor very attentive to our beverage needs. The food was unusually less than adequate, the atmosphere is somewhat less boisterous than usual, not surprising because of the time. (3:00 pm) This, however, is no excuse. Any establishment should be prepared for business. What would happen if a party of 8 showed up in here with only 1 server? We had a party of 6. We all opted for the 2 for $20 deal. We had the following dishes: Appetizers- Skillet Queso, Fire roasted corn guacamole and the Fried mozzarella cheese sticks. All of these were served quickly and were fine. Entrees- (2) 1/2 rack if baby back ribs (their supposedly "signature" dish) with the Shiner Bock sauce, Bacon ranch chicken quesadillas, Chipotle BBQ chicken crispers, Mango chili chicken, 9" pepperoni pizza. The ribs were kinda dry and a little chewy; not at all the kind of fall-off-the-bone ribs you would expect. The fries served with them were nice and hot with a good crisp exterior and fluffy inside. Unfortunately, they had a rather peculiar flavor, almost like they were old or freezer burned, not all of them either, about half. The quesadillas were pretty good and more came with it than expected. The chicken crispers were good with plenty of spicy-sweet and smoky sauce. The mango chili chicken was good but the size of the chicken was rather sad. I expected a whole or at least half of a chicken breast. What came out was about 1/3 of a breast. Think of a deck of cards. Now cut the deck into two equal piles. One of those halves was about the size of the chicken. It was delicious... just... small. The pizza. Don't order it. Worst pizza ever. Overall, this was not a good dining experience. Collectively, we spent just under $100.00 and would have been much better off going to The Marietta Diner or Longhorn's. read more

Horrible experience. Came for lunch and we knew it wasn't going to go well when it looked like a total of 2 people were waiting on tables. Ordered burger off lunch menu with the bowl of chili and the chili came cold to the point that the cheese didn't even melt. The burger came out so burned I even took pictures of the burnt crust I peeled off of it. The tomatoes on the burger were green and not ripe. The only good thing was the fries.
