At 5 PM on a weekday when we arrived, this Chili's was in full meltdown...no one staffing the front and when someone appeared many minutes later, we were advised that there would be a 15 minute wait to be seated (even though 75% of the tables were unoccupied covered in dirty dishes---shoulda taken a photo---table after table mounded with dirty dishes!). In the 10 minutes that we waited to be seated it became apparent that those who were seated were at their table without food. I intercepted a staffer who confirmed that they were understaffed and very behind. At that, we left as it was apparent that our simple meal was not to be. And I noticed other, already seated customers, were leaving after waiting unsuccessfully just to place their order. This is our neighborhood Chili's and this was our first visit. I've been a Chili's customer since the mid 70s in Houston and eaten at many locations since. After reading other reviews, apparently this particular location has a history of problems. Too bad. they always mess up something on my take out order. i come back because it's close to home. sometimes it's missing food, soggy lettuce for the salads, or just messed up order. then when we call they say it's not they're fault. we got what we ordered by description on the online ordering. I hope they can pull their act together and come back to selling better food. read more

We certainly had issues with this Chili's when they first opened. Issues so bad that I went up the corporate ladder and complained. I have to tell you that now this Chili's is our "date night" place. I was thanked for my complaints by the management. They were happy I wrote - simply because they can't improve if they don't know. Well they know now and the improvements are amazing. Management (Bree, John, Chris, Toby (and whomever else is there) has taken note. The service we have had over the past 6 months has been impeccable (thank you Claire, Barry and even Elijah - your sub in). The food has been perfectly cooked each time we are there and if there is a problem, it is redone quickly and efficiently and with a smile. They know who we are when we walk in the door, they know what table we want and which server we prefer. We don't even have to order anymore since we always get the same thing. It is our "Cheers". For the naysayers on here, I recommend you give it a second chance. We need to support local restaurants to be able to keep them up here in the Enchanted Hills area. If you are unhappy, ask to speak to one of the managers and they will do what they can to make you happy. From what I can see, at least for the negative reviews, they are people looking for something for nothing or they were just there on a bad day. I'm sorry - this Chili's rocks! I luv this place! Their spicy onion rings are the best! I order them 1 to 3 times a week!!!! Their classic sirloin is to die for!!! I normally do take out and when I call they are so nice and they always make sure my order is right and my food is on point! Every time I've either called my order in or actually went in and ate there I have never had a bad experience it's always good and I've been eating there for over 2yrs. Service was good....that was about it! The food was terrible! They forgot key items that were included with our meal and mixed up some of the sides. Boy has it gone down hill! They changed there menu....again....higher prices and lower quality food....I won't be back here again. So sad. read more

Enchanted Hill's is fortunate to have Chili's. We were seated immediately and had a very attentive and informative waitress. The smothered prime rib burrito was so tasty and I highly recommend it. The old timer burger was also excellent. We needed a little help with the self pay at the table, but our waitress rescued us from the technology. read more

Excellent location but a little hard to get in and out. I enjoyed the El Nino margarita with chips and salsa for an appetizer. The chicken fajita entrée was quite tasty and bigger than expected, but they could have given me a bit more cheese. I will go back. read more

This is the worst chili's I ever been to, and that's saying something because I love chili's and pretty much any town I go into that's where I'll stop to eat. Sadly this crap hole is closest to me, but I'll be making the extra trip to avoid this one. I have had nothing but terrible experiences with this chili's.... and I gave it 4 try's! (Actually 5 because I sat at the bar with my husband once and the bartender chick was filling in she wasn't a bartender anymore but they were short.... sitting at the bar drinking alcohol and talking to her was amazing) every time I have gone here someone has either ordered the chicken or the steak. The steak is always rubbery, and the grilled chicken was rubbery. Then the waiter I had today cane to my table all of three times..... I was there two hours waiting for someone to get on lunch break to meet us. I ordered the food so that whenmy guest arrived they would have their food ready so they wouldn't have to wait for lunch and have barely time to eat. Well the server saw him come in and never came to take his drink order (I didn't get him a drink because he would want a beer) then the manager finally comes after 30 minutes and asks us how was everything. Then us trying to tell him we wanted a drink but never was able to order one, he starts talking about how many boxes we want. We're done.... this manager didn't give any crap about our visit. I tipped them a penny...... there were all of maybe 5 tables sitted and three servers plus the manager.... you guys couldn't figure out how to manage these 5 tables between the 4 of you? (There were people at the bar side too! I think 2-3 tables and one person at bar as well but I didn't Count the bartender as one of the servers either) this chili's is definitely the worst tasting and the worst service.... but hey at least the floor was semi clean.... read more

I had not been to a chilis for more than 10 years. We decided to give it a try. Went there three times trying to give them an opportunity to improve on there service. They did not improve. The worst service ever. No organization or process to get food out of kitchen-wait staff standing idle. The last time we went there we walked out after 40 minutes. Terrible Service. The only thing good was that we sat right away. Took 15 min to get drinks out by the host, then nothing for 30 min until the host came back and took our order because they were "short handed." No they were not, there were servers everywhere but many of them looked like they were completely lost. No organization, the host was the only one who seemed like she knew what to do. She was seating people, busing tables and taking tables orders. We never met a server. 40 min after we placed our order we were leaving when our food came out. Mind you, our app we ordered was never served. My wife never got her side dish with the fajitas and we had to stop the manager and ask for refills and a ketchup as ours was out. Other tables were frustrated too, one table offering to help out cause "how hard could it be"!! Two tables left without being served. The manager could have cared less, she said that there is a system and it failed on our table. No it didn't, the managers did not know what was happening and most of the staff did not care!! Then, the manager took off our app and comp'd us 7 more dollars. Then the Kiosk to pay stopped working! SERIOUSLY!!?? They are lucky I paid anything. I didn't tip because we never met a server and the host was supposedly just "helping." I thanked the host and told her she was doing a good job but she needs to find another place to work because with that service, they will not be open much longer! I should have known when I the gentleman in front of me had so many issues with his to go order. My husband and I ordered over $50 on a to go order. First off, they forgot the quest appetizer, but included the chips, then they forgot the sauce for the cheesecake, the worker said she was going back to get it, however we never received it. Then upon arriving home, we noticed they didn't include the tortillas for the fajitas, we had also ordered extra, however all were forgotten. After calling Chili's and letting them know the discrepancies, the manager was very unprofessional and then offered to mail $5 in chili's cash..... we unfortunately will never be visiting this location again. This is the worst customer service I have ever had in any restaurant industry. We had came in around 8:30pm last Thursday to see that it wasn't that busy. But there was no host to greet us or sit us down. Waited almost 10 minutes to be seated by a waiter. We had first told him that was unacceptable. And jokingly laughed and said that it was ok. First mistake right there. When he sat us down he again jokingly made the comment that hopefully our server wont take 10 minutes. We obviously found that rude and inappropriate. We finally saw the host bussing tables? The waiter we had kept calling us buddy as if we were 15 years old. Very unprofessional. We had ordered the crispy chicken tenders. Very very soggy. As we were eating and not enjoying our meal at all, we saw one of the waitresses behind us counting her tips in public. As well as the manager of the shift that night was eating ice cream behind us. By the end of the meal, I was so disgusted with the service throughout that I had no reason to give a tip. And I am a big believer in tipping servers. But this was just awful service. I had been to this location before and it has never been great service. And this was the last straw. As we were paying, our waiter, Victor, asked us to not only fill out the survey but to put highly likely for everything. I knew right there I had to complain to the manager. But no way would I take her seriously because she was eating ice cream in the dining room in front of the customers. Walked away very insulted and disrespected. We had left the restaurant to find out a couple hours later that our very same waiter, Victor, had tweeted about us and tagged one of my friends and his girlfriend (by the way wasn't with us). He didn't know us at all. So he obviously looked at our credit card receipts. I will in no way come back to this Chilis. I live five minutes away from this location and would rather drive an extra thirty minutes to a different location. There definitely needs to be more training in customer service with all the employees here. I am also a manager at a restaurant. So I can understand the hiccups in a restaurant sometimes. But I would never allow my employees to treat a customer the way I was treated that night. read more
