I'm not sure if this place is under new management but it has gone downhill! My husband was served a chewy dry stake (was supposed to be medium) with " steamed" Broccoli. The Broccoli was uncooked, old, dry and smelly with black spots on it. I can't believe a cook would send food out like that. We didn't bother complaining because the people next to us didn't like their food either. This is a management problem and there is no way they're not already aware of it. Normally the service here sucks. Today we were sat in the "lounge" (high tables by bar) by a nice man with a man pony tail but then we waited for 20 minutes and no one came to even ask what we wanted to drink but the servers had zero issue getting the 3 tables who came in after us. We tried really hard to be patient and understanding considering they were likely short staffed. We ordered fried pickles, they were out. Ordered ribs, sorry the oven is broken. We finally decided on Texas Cheese Fries, Smokehouse Burgers and Chicken Pasta. After waiting 40+ minutes for our food the fries came out burned and the burgers were cold. We asked that the food be remade. Burgers came out 10 minutes later and patties were raw. The cheese had been melted so much that it was hard on top of the fries. It was a party of 5, we waited 20 minutes or so, food took forever, appetizers took forever , we had to ask for re fills, food was cold and our margaritas took even longer. What can I say it's Chili's we shouldn't expect more than that. read more

We decided to give them business because of this covid mess. We placed our order and was told to be there between 1237 and 1242. We got there at 1238 and sent the text that we were "here". A worker brought someone next to us their order so she stopped and got my name and said she would go check on it. At 1 pm she still hadn't come back to us and was taking orders to other cars. I called the store and asked what was going on. The guy said it would be right out. I told him it was probably cold because it should have been ready 15 minutes ago. That is when he told me they hadn't started it yet. I asked for a full refund and will not be going back. Why couldn't they have called me or come out with a status? They evidently don't need any business so I will go to other local places that do. read more

Usually get great service tables in the bar are not being cleaned so you can sit down. Order drinks takes forever. Order food and still waiting the table next to us get their food before us and we were there before them. Find out our order was not put in. Paid for 2 drinks and left. We go to Chilis often and it has always been good to us. It is clean, the employees are always so nice and helpful.

Started ordering from here using the Chili's when the pandemic started. The app is integrated with door dash for deliveries. I started to have a lot of incomplete orders delivered to me. When I call the restaurant, they will try and send you on a wild goose chase by blaming door dash and telling you to call them. When you call door dash, they confirm that the order was placed through the chili's app and it is out if their hands as well. I no longer fall for the trap of trying to call door dash. I believe this chili's has poor quality assurance when it comes to ensuring orders are complete before they go out the door. I have spoken to management about these reoccurring issues and they have made promises like "we will compensate you for your item that was missing," or "we will send you a gift card in the mail," or "we are busy, but our manager said he will call you back." None of those promises have ever been fulfilled and I have decided to stop supporting this neighborhood business. When they properly fulfill an order, my dinner is great! But when they don't deliver everything I paid for and make empty promises, it often leads to a ruined evening. I gave this restaurant multiple opportunities over this past year and a half to make things right, but most of my orders ended up missing something. The only star this place deserved was for their bartender who was running the entire bar customers by herself. She was checking on food orders and making drinks for the entire place. My wife and I ordered our food last night at 7 and it was 'lost or forgotten' by the kitchen. We were told that it'll be 'out soon' multiple times. An hour and a half later the manager came out with our food, apologizing for the delay and promised a discount for the wait on the food. When we checked out on the kiosk the manager didn't put a discount on any items. This will probably be our last visit to this place. read more

Probably the poorest managed Chili's in the area! Maybe the worst anywhere. They are never ready for business when opening time rolls around. Today I ordered take out for a Buffalo Chicken Salad. It had no Buffalo sauce!...and this is not the first time for that. My husband had the Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas that were made quite different from the last time he had that. Shouldn't the cooks always follow the same recipe at a franchise restaurant??? A couple months later...things are only worse! Today we ordered to go at opening time of 11:00 am. Our very simple order wasn't ready until 11:45 am and there was no spoon included for my soup! There were two ladies waiting for a large ($500.) order at the same time. Their order wasn't ready until noon. This restaurant should close their doors. We won't go back...I lied... we did go back after a few months away. The service was good and the food was good. Maybe there's new management. Places can get better...Thank you Chili's. A few months later...back to bad again. Why so inconsistent? Our side salad was made with rotten greens. The spinach was literally black and rotten. This should never have been used at all! 2 months later, we ordered two grilled chicken salads. Shouldn't grilled be browned?? Yuck, just yuck. I have eaten at Chili's around the 505 and the country and have never had food this bad or service so uncaring. We ordered drinks, table side guacamole and their chili cheese dip. The drinks were okay but not up to their usual standards, guacamole was tasteless and the cheese dip was so bad we refused to pay for it. It was full of BEANS!?! Very weird consistency and tasted awful. Maybe this place will get better as it was pretty new when we went (September 2015) but I would have to be very hungry to give them another try. read more

I placed an order for curbside pickup via their app, scheduled a pickup time an hour in advance and paid in advance via the app. I arrived at the restaurant at the scheduled time and checked in via the app. After 15 minutes an employee came out to get my name and went back inside. No one else ever came out of the restaurant. There were at least 10 cars waiting. I waited for an hour. I called 5 times and was on hold for over 20 minutes but a person never answered the phone. Going to the door of the restaurant yielded no help. After an hour I left without my food. Other patrons did the same. Three emails to corporate customer service have gone unanswered. I have had to dispute the charge with my bank. Never going to this or any other Chili's again. read more

Once again chili's has completely messed up my order and left multiple items out of my to-go bag. I ordered chips and salsa with extra salsa I got the chips but not a drop of salsa. This along with many other issues has occurred so many times at this location I have lost track. Their little young smart ass hostess needs an attitude adjustment. When I checked in, I was given a 20 wait time, I downloaded the Yelp app to check my wait. After 35 minutes, I went in to check and found out that my info was never entered, even though Yelp had my info. I asked her, well, what happens now and she said I would have to re enter and wait again, it's at that point, I showed her my phone, with my wait time, and told her that wasn't acceptable, she then looked at me and told me not to throw attitude at her... Excuse me. But I was polite about it until that point, lucky for her, we were there with family and I bit my tongue. I really wanted to make it known and heard what happened. After the experience we had last time we decided again to try it. While it was a little bit better it wasn't the greatest. There was five of us eating. They brought all the adults plates out but forgot my 7 years old food. They told us they bring it right out but they didn't. They completely forgot to ring his in. But instead of telling us they forgot they just didn't come back to the table until it was ready. Which was additional 10 minutes I hope I'm the future chili's can get it right. Had an excellent experience ordering online and picking up. Ordered 3 meals with appetizers on a Saturday around 4:00. Food was ready for pickup in 20 min. Cashier was very friendly and showed us each order as well as asked if we needed cutlery and condiments. Our burgers were cooked medium rare and very juicy. read more

This is a very nice new trendy Chili's interior (and exterior). Very impressed with the newer look to the this restaurant. We had terrific service with our witty and cordial waitress. Very cool getting somebody with just great at customer service and talks just enough where its not overbearing. As for the food, it was good. Typical Chili's fare, fajitas. I got half pork and chicken. Really liked the new pork option. My wife got the chicken crispers, which is good. So overall its was a good quick Monday night meal (love how you can pay at the table, rather than wait for waitress to take your card and come back) and this nice new Chili's near outskirts of Rio Rancho. read more

We went to Chili's on 528 in Bernalillo and had the worst experience celebrating my daughter's birthday. Not only did we have to sit in 2 separate tables because we were a party of 7 which included a infant; but they messed up 4 dinners one which had to be recooked. When it finally came out we were all done and decided to just bag it up and leave. two dinners had no sides which were included; one had the wrong side, another was a complete different dinner that was not ordered. When the bill came they had the wrong dinner which was sent back plus the correct dinner. This had to be corrected. Not once did the manager Isaac come out to check on us; inquire on all the issues or try to make things right. My family and I will not ever go back as I was once there before and the food was not good and thought I would give them another chance. no more- if you go make sure your food is ordered correctly as well as your ticket. read more

I had not been to a chilis in at least a decade. They were the only place open, so they just happened to get our business that night. I was very optimistic, but this quickly turned into me questioning how they havent gone out of business yet. The fries were given served without salt, not to mention they tasted like cardboard because they were old! The cheese poppers were about as boring as an appetizer could get. The burger had no flavor and was mediocre at best. The server wasnt very good and got many things wrong with the order. McDonalds would have been a better meal than this trainwreck! 2 stars instead of 1 because I didnt get sick. read more

We usually go here every few months for family dinner or drinks & appetizers before a movie. Food is good and the prices are very reasonable. We order the 2 for $22 special, which includes an appetizer to share and two main entries. Not a bad deal for the price. Kiddos love their chocolate molten lava dessert. read more
