Chain restaurants are not my first or 5th choice, but Chili's has a delish dish: the ancho salmon with a side of rice & broccoli. I always sub the rice for asparagus for a small extra fee. It's hard to find asparagus cooked to that consistency I love; tender without becoming charred, in which they get it right every time. The broccoli is cooked perfectly as well, both baptized in their ranch, which I recently learned is made in-house. I would buy bottles of that stuff. The salmon is also consistently cooked through and through. Service is always friendly & attentive, with the drinks strong without breaking the bank. read more

We came to this Chili's Boerne location as this was nearer compared to the De Zavala location after we came finished attending Easter mass at St Elizabeth Anne Seton church . The food was good I ordered the Ancho Salmon and while hubby ordered the Smokehouse Combo which he got the Jalapeño sausage, brisket quesadilla with sides of French fries a d grilled sweet corn . He said the sausage was average and the brisket quesadilla was good . I like my ancho Salmon ever tasty while my stepson ordered the lunch 3 for 1 combo . The chili bowl was so delicious and the Chicken Sandwich was pretty filling . We also ordered the Tripple Dipper Sampler for appetizers . I love the honey chipotle chicken crispers it was so well cooked and flavorful and the mozzarella bites . All in all food was good and prices were so reasonable . read more

We have been here twice in the last three months and been seated immediately. They have brought our food really soon as well. The restaurant is typical to others with a large dining room and lots of booths. I have enjoyed chicken tortilla soup and also half rack of ribs. They have all been delicious. read more

Our server Lana was the best!! She was super friendly and had great customer service skills! We were in the mood for burgers and it had been a while since we ate here because of all the construction. I had a coupon on the app for free chips and salsa. I think they have the best chips. Plus they come out hot! Our burgers were cooked perfectly and were juicy! The server who served us was very kind, attentive, and overall GREAT! He saw that we were sharing meals and would get extras, he was also very quick bringing out the food and taking plates. Other than the great service, the food was great! The ribs fell off the meat and the streak was very tender. The corn was sweet and tasty. The pizookie was actually VERY good, not too sweet and not too bland, and our server gave us an extra ice cream as well, which was just enough to finish the cookie. Perfect :). We love the food at Chili's but the service at the restaurant in Boerne was horrible! We called in a pickup order since we had our dogs in the car. We ordered two salads. We were not given any forks or napkins. I went back inside to ask for some and the person handed me a package with a plastic spoon fork knife and 1 napkin. I asked for two more napkins and the server said, "we do t give out napkins with to-go orders because we go through them so fast. " What??? NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN! read more

Ate here with a group of six. We were greeted and seated quickly. We ordered a round of drinks which came out rather quickly. I had a glass of J Lohr which was very delicious. We had chips n salsa as well as queso. I ordered a six ounce medium rare sirloin with double broccoli. It was very delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal and our second round of drinks. * I have been going to Chili's since the late 1970's and it was the most fun place to visit at that time and had absolutely the best atmosphere and burgers. *As for this particular location in Boerne, it has gone from great to mediocre to okay to good and yesterday, it went back to great!!! Now, a lot of the experience was due to getting there on a Monday at 11:45 am, sitting in the bar area and being served by one of the best, most attentive and intuitive waiters ever. The service was near country club level and the overall value was excellent! And even though I had a home grilled burger the day before, I ordered the Bacon Burger on the 2 for $25 menu and the taste of that burger took me back to 1980 at the Chili's in San Antonio! I am salivating about it as I write this review. The fries that came with it were hot and somewhat crisp and plentiful. The appetiser we chose was the guacamole and chips and the dessert was the cheesecake which was all downed with sweet tea. My tea was constantly kept full, the chips kept coming out and I was offered a to go cup. I was a guest on that day but had to add to the tip by putting down a $2 bill (my special reward for excellent service). read more

The food at this establishment is typically pretty good. To be fair, I've only eaten here during the COVID-19 shelter in place order so it's all been take out food. The chicken crispers, street corn, and regular fries have been delicious. My order of cheese/bacon fries has been stale and seemed like it sat out each time I've purchased it. There are some items on the menu that I have been unable to customize to my preference online. For example, I wanted to get the bacon/ranch quesadilla without chicken but did not have the option to remove the chicken online. Calling to modify the order proved difficult because of their limited staffing and limited phone lines. I had to call 7 times, with each lasting about 2 minutes (at which point the phone system says there's no one available and disconnects) before I could reach someone in order to modify the order. Overall, not a terrible place to eat, but I would choose a couple other Chili's locations if given the opportunity. read more

I found my experience to be quite rude and unwelcoming Came out for my 6th anniversary with my husband Service and server were well this visit compared to the last few times we came. She was very attentive but spent majority of time in the back. I needed a refill twice and she wasn't around to help with the issue for a while so I resorted to finishing my husbands drink. Food came out wrong so requested for manager, server said she "Let him know and he will be headed over" and went to the back. Manager never came by my table and was very obviously flirting /handsy with the female employees while walking around the store and in the back (from what I could see) and never attended my table!!!!!!!! Was unable t get my concerns out to him Eventually just ate my meal even though my sides came out wrong (husband ate my broccoli because i'm extremely allergic) and I ate the other side. Driving down the interstate headed home from West Texas when all of the sudden we were struck with hunger. Chilis came into our minds so we made a quick stop at the one in Boerne. Upon arriving there wasn't a wait and we were quickly seated. Our server came after a while and we ordered our beverages. I got the chips and salsa with the 3 for $10 dinner entree including the drink and my chicken crispers. The chips and salsa were what you expect at any Chili's, crispy chips and a small kick to salsa. Now for the entree, I order the original chicken crispers which came out in a generous serving was very flavorful and beer battered. My sides were corn on the cob was good however the fries were cold and stale where the star falls off. My wife ordered the honey chipotle crispers which were flavorful, her mash potatoes were good and so were her fries well cooked unlike mine. Now for the desert, the infamous chocolate molten cake topped with ice cream, it was searing in chocolate goodness. It's Cinco de Mayo and an a margarita is required. Chili's was the compromise for food (someone really wanted an Ultimate Bacon Burger ). Food was excellent! Chips and salsa, the burger and Margarita Grill Chicken accompanied the Margarita on tap (for a limited time). Sat at the bar. The restaurant was super busy! The bartender, Nathan, was a professional juggler between taking care of his bar patrons with 5-star plus service and getting drinks for the rest of the restaurant! He was cool and nice! It was also cool to see the manager step in and help him here and there! What a great team atmosphere! WOW so we to this location a lot. 3days ago got take out Cajun pasta was great my daughter only eats that dish. We went to eat in tonight. The hostess is not very welcoming needs more of a welcoming attitude. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We got our food and the Cajun chicken was like water based hard pasta with no flavor. I hate to complain but we told the waitress and she apologized and said it had been like this all day -watery sauce. She brought extra so we poured it on top but it didn't help. My daughter still ate it did not enjoy it but we don't like to waste food either. I was down to my last shrimp taco and I picked it up to take a bite and there was a hair -that's it I'm done. Check please. I don't know what is going on there but the food is going down hill fast. I believe they were having more fun in the kitchen than work- due to the blaring rap music coming out of the entrance to the kitchen. But don't try and use them as excuses for poor attention to detail, cleanliness, customer service and quality control!! People came in and out with no masks and not one employee said anything. Including management who walked by a group of bots twice... and none were under 10! Utterly disappointed for one of my favorite places in town to go this far down hill. Well, I guess we won't be going to the Boerne Chili's anymore!!! This has got to be the filthiest restaurant I've ever visited!!! My husband and I visited on a Saturday at around 7pm. We noticed there weren't very many vehicles in the lot, which was surprising for a Saturday night! As we approached the entrance, we noticed that the trash can was massively overflowing and there was garbage all over the ground. Went inside, no wait, immediately got a table. We ordered. When we got our silverware, we took it out of the packets and it was FILTHY!!! Both sets!!! Asked for more, equally dirty!!! We looked around and noticed the walls were filthy, restrooms, everything!!! The staff had plenty of time to stand around and gossip. And when our food came out, there were a few things wrong. A person I was with received the incorrect side, and my hamburger I asked for PLAIN, had mayo which I am not able to consume, so I asked for it off. Also, in my Enchilada soup there was a short hair, presumably the waiters on top. I was not near anyone with short hair. Just to top things off, the waiter was super slow and failed to get us refills in a timely manner. Also left our table cluttered with cups.
