Large brewery in the heart of Main Street in downtown Bourne. Stopped in to give their pours a try. Shared a four ounce pour (only $2.75!) of "6 am to Dublin" with my boyfriend. It was spectacular. A stellar pour with proper hints of chocolate flavor. Very smooth. Not a beer most would pick on a hot summer day but I'm a sucker for a chocolate stout. Alright beer, not a huge selection. A ton of indoor seating. There is also outdoor seating out back if you have a four legged friend. It's gravel, but there's trees for shade and it's pretty quiet away from the traffic. Not the best views (warehouses) if you're concerned. For my first time in Boerne, my friends and I decided to bring all our moms here to try this brewery! This place is pretty spacious and has a lot of outdoor seating in the back with picnic tables. They have two areas to order food with the front of the restaurant or a little area outside near their brewing equipment. I tried the Black is Beautiful beer and it was incredible. A great stout , and it was about $6. Unfortunately, they have no flights at this time. Almost all of us loved the beers that we got. The nachos were a little dry and could have used more toppings. Some of my friends got the turkey sandwich with Cheetos, and they felt that there was too much bread in the bread to sandwich ratio. Overall, this is a nice brewery with a lot of space with great beers. Their food is a little bit of a hit or miss but worth trying. Located in the heart of downtown Boerne, Tx at the H.O. Adler Building, most recently home to Bergmann Lumber Company. We just happen to walk by on this brewery and they have pretty good and tasty offerings. I tried their Black Berry Bam-ba-lam Berliner Weise. It was a winner after a heavy late lunch meal. Tusculum Brewing is located in the old Bergmann Lumber Company building and they've converted the old lumber yard into a beer garden. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing inside and out with their great brewed crafted beer and a very pleasing Charcuterie Board. There are a few Pretzels you can buy throughout the town but Tusculum's Pretzel that comes with half a link of sausage is one of the few bests around! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STOPPING IN! read more

Tusculum Brewing Company is in a really cool space right on Main Street in Boerne but unfortunately we were there on a Saturday and it was just kinda dead. Service was fine. I was surprised to find they don't have any hoppy beers but I enjoyed a tasty kolsch. read more

Service and food was well below the Yelp 4.7 average. I don't know how they rate this high. I walked back to the desk where you order to ask if it was possible to get my chips and dip prior to the other food, which was 15 minutes after we ordered. There was only one small order in front of us and two workers in the kitchen. Quite slow. Food was below average with lots of gristle in the Philly sandwich - wow - and the plate was not complete as the menu suggested, and the beer is nothing more than average. I went here based off of the recommendation of a friend who appreciates great craft beer. So on a beautiful Sunday afternoon I made my way there from San Antonio. The parking was a bit confusing. I went into the driveway and was given two choices. One for a different company and one to drive into the tap house. I parked on the side of the driveway. I entered the restaurant and it was wondrous. Very elegant. I was surprised no one was in there except a staff member. She informed me that only the tap room out back was open. OK, no problem. I walked out back. Very cool taproom with all the equipment you would expect for brewing beer. I was greeted by the owners kids who were awesome. I got a full flight which had 9 beers (all they offer) for $17. I also grabbed some pub nachos. I sat down and the beer was awesome. I enjoyed all of them. The nachos were disappointing as they were simply bagged chips with cheese whiz dumped on it. For $7 I would expect more. The outdoor biergarten was nice and they had a couple of port a potties. This didn't bother me as they were the cleanest ones I have ever seen. I got a sandwich which was very good but I feel like the bread should be toasted or pressed to take it over the edge. read more

This place is getting one star from me because the event coordinator, Paige is AWFUL at her job. I reached out to inquire about hosting my Fiancée and I's engagement party here. I got an initial email back from Paige, then went into the brewery to see the space, in which Paige acted very unwelcoming and put out she had to do her job. After, I sent Paige TWO emails asking questions, she has just not responded to this day (2 weeks later). We have decided to book elsewhere, but this is very poor customer service and will probably never come here on a normal day because of this experience. read more

Very laid back with a great outdoor area in the back. That was our favorite part and the beer was great. Loved their beer selection. They had a fantastic Belgium. Their beer is crisp and refreshing. We have been to many breweries my husband in NY and Cali. This one I can definitely say I recommend over the other brewery we visited in Boerne. Saw tusculum brewing on a social media post and immediately added it to our list to try! A quick drive from San Antonio and we were here. They have a private parking lot and a neat space inside with tall ceilings and ample seating. My friend and i asked if they offered flights since it wasn't advertised. You can do either a small flight with 5 beers, or pay a little extra and get all 9 beers. I really liked the beers and the wide selection the offered. I also like anytime they do any "local" flavors like the honey blonde and pecan ale. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and the beers were delicious. My only complaint was the price. It's $7/pint whether you get a blonde or a porter. I know Boerne in general is notoriously a little pricy but that's I can really dock them for. It's also located right across the street from the Boerne wall mural so be sure to check that out and get a picture while you're in the area! read more

Wonderful place. The outdoor area is a transformed lumber building (a retired Boerne hardware store), makes for a near perfect venue to enjoy music, finely crafted brews and great food. Propane heaters keep everyone warm when it's a little cool. My biggest question is why haven't we had the charcuterie board before?!? Very fun place. read more

We came to boerne, tx up from San Antonio to check out the farmers market. We decided to stop by tusculum brewing for a beer and quick bite to eat. The brewery was such a nice escape, great service and awesome beer. We had two toddlers with us and a worker kindly brought us some fruit snack for the kids. Mediocre experience while in town for Dickens on Main. Beer was pretty good, but the employees attitudes not so much. Ordered a Texas Blonde, I believe, and it was tasty. Was considering the Pecan and asked for a small sample and was told no. I just paid for beers for myself and 5 other people, I would expect a small tasting of my next beer since I haven't had it before. It's Christmas season after all, most are happy and in the spirit, but not at Tusculum. We went down the street and got great beer and service elsewhere. May give them a shot another time. read more
