Ordered a curbside pickup after a long day at Knottsberry Farm. Checked in per instructed, waited for 15 minutes before going and seeing where my food was. It was sitting right next to the guy behind the counter. He then asked if I wanted to go utensils for my to go order.... Get my food back to the room, and my burger that was supposed to be "pink" was raw, completely raw, not red or rare but raw. I work in the food industry and know the difference. It's like they put the patty on the flat top or grill and immediately flipped it over and then put it on the bun. Also, since when do burgers come already dressed with ketchup and mustard? I ordered to-go so I could pick it up and go. As I stood for a couple minutes at the to-go area, I was able to watch the workers in the back handling food. None of them were wearing gloves. I watched one girl take tortillas out of a bag with bare hands, count them, tuck her hair behind her ear since it was in her way, then proceed to put the tortillas in the microwave. I was shocked that no one had gloves on. Then there was a male worker who came to give me my order so I asked him why no one was wearing gloves. He shrugged his shoulders and said that it's common practice in most restaurants. I told him it was super gross and he said they wash their hands and the cooks wear gloves. I told him I didn't believe him and asked if she washed her hands before or after brushing through her hair with her hands. Then I left. Ever since they replied and and made my original complaint right,I have frequented Chilis. Today,my visit was very pleasant. We had free chips and salsa because we are frequent customers. We had a top sirloin steak and salmon with veggies and Mashed potatoes. Honestly, their service is on point,and the place is always nice and clean. I must recommend the 2for $25 deal. It comes with an appetizer,meal,plus dessert for two. Great price,can't beat the deal. Plus,all food is delicious,and good portions. I do recommend this place. Not a good experience. It started when we put our name on the list and were told that it would be 20-30 minutes before we would be seated. Nearly an hour later, we asked about our table and were told that we had missed the call for our table. We were waiting not more than 6 feet from the host the entire time and not one of our party heard our name called. Additionally, we showed the host the text we received indicating that we would receive a follow up text when our table was ready. There was no follow up text. To further insult us, we were then led past at least two tables that could easily accommodate our party of 5 to a table in the back of the restaurant by the bathrooms and the kitchen. We placed our orders but when the food arrived there was evidence of a lack of attention to detail. A burger order was to come without fries, but fries were on the plate anyway. Beans were served with a pico garnish when we specifically ordered the pico to be left off. The fajita's steak was decidedly overcooked and tough and came without the tortillas. Finally, we had to remind our server that we had ordered some BBQ sauce. It was like no one cared to provide our food as we wanted it. Sad. read more

Horrible service, the guy named Issac horrible waiter, we were there for 15 mins without any help and when we did get him from some fella from the back he said he ould go bring our waiter and never came back. Well, I never thought I would ever say this but, I wouldn't be sad if I never ate at Chili's in Moreno Valley again. It used to be one of my family's favorite places. The last time I visited was for my 9 year old daughter's birthday dinner. She specifically asked for Chili's to have the fried pickles. They were just removed from the menu. Ok, no biggie. Chili's has other yummy food. No, not anymore. Everything kinda looks the same and tastes the same. Our server was nice but he spoke to us as if we were friends. I have been coming to this Chili's for years. Service is always hit or miss. Fortunately on Valentine's Day I went with my wife, brother and 1 year old daughter and had a great time. Will was our server and he was the best. He was so kind, so patient and very understanding. My daughter was a little wild and instead of getting upset, he said he related and even moved things around that could cause a mess. I appreciated the subtle check ins and attentiveness. Wow. Just WOW. This Chillis was so disappointing. Let's start out with our server NEVER greating us. Maybe because we has a part of 13 with 4 kids... maybe he prejudged us. He never smiled, never welcomed us, gave is his name... nothing. He took our drink order right away and 25 minutes later I had to flag down one of the runners to ask her what happened. Apparently he never out in our drink order. He finally brought them over and set them down, again without smiling, asking us if we needed anything else or APOLOGIZING for the fact that we waited 30 minutes for 2 margaritas and a beer. I live in the neighborhood and used to like this place a lot. The wait staff, when there are wait staff, are pleasant and professional. I love the lava cake. The problem is that there is never enough staff at the time my wife and I eat, which is around five. Hard to hear the wait is 30 minutes when there are literally a dozen tables open. My wife's hearing make the bar an option we cannot take. Today was the third visit in a row where we decided other quicker options were better. This place used to be my sister-night restaurant, but we haven't been here for awhile. Our favorite was nachos with spinach dip and classic sirloin. However, I noticed that their menus are changed quiet a lot. Many things were out and new things got in. The spinach dip used to be white cheese with spinach and more creamy like the ones in BJ's, but it changed to yellow cheese with guac and salsa. Not that I did not like the new one, but I missed the old one! But don't get me wrong, the new one tastes awesome, too ;) I also ordered Ribeye steak which is very big in a size wise and juicy! Bar tender Barbara was terrible. Never checked in, never offered a refill. I had to flag her down EVERY time. It's 130pm. No lunch rush at the bar. Food was pretty slow to come out as well. Chili's is a nice restaurant to bring friends and family and to have a fun experience with the people around you, Chili's is very friendly in terms of atmosphere and service, it's actually very inviting to see everyone so happy just talking amongst their parties and watching a game on the television. But the food is a different story. Although chili's may bring you joy due to it's scenery, it's very difficult to be happy about the food. My partner and I got the $25 for 2 deal with is a pretty fantastic deal if you think about it, one appetizer, two entree's, and one dessert, but although the price was very good the food seemed to be very average. The chips in the appetizer were literally flavorless and were thin as paper and the salsa wasn't even good, the chicken pasta needed a lot more seasoning on the pasta but the chicken was pretty good, the ribs were alright but not anything to base your restaurant on, and the dessert was just sugar on top of sugar, it'll taste decent while you eat it but it'll make you feel so shitty after you finish it so I really don't recommend it. I would recommend this place to spend some quality time with the people you love but don't come here just for the food. Short summary Pros: - The service was fantastic - Atmosphere was very friendly and inviting - Great place to spend some quality time with friends and family -Great $25 for 2 deal! This location is great on time management, the several times I have come there has been a quick wait time for moving guest in and out of the tables and the waiters have all been pretty cool and attentive. The downfall of this location is the horrid parking lot they're a part of. It becomes crowded instantly because of the packed shopping center for how big the lots actually are there's a Walmart across the way so that automatically brings a crowd but as for the food section it also attracts a crowd with big names around. I actually very much enjoy all the food and desserts it's comfort food really with fried options, fajita skillets, desserts and plenty of drinks. It can easily be for a family dinner or to watch the game playing at the bar it has great diversity. read more

So... this seems like a weird review for me. I usually prefer to go to non-chain restaurants, but I was hungry and this place was close. I've been here before and didn't care much for it....BUT THIS TIME..... there has clearly been a change in staff. The waiters in the bar section were on it! Every table was cleaned as people vacated. Not once did I feel like I was pestered, nor did I feel I was ignored. My hot food was hot and my salad was cold! When my Drink was low, I was asked if I would like another. Unacceptable and I'm never coming back to this location. I've been to 3 other chili's locations and this is by far the worst service. The rice was a bit cold, so I asked for another one and they brought warm rice out. The chicken and corn were very fresh and hot. I order this dish frequently here and the quality of the pico de Gallo is detoritating. It doesn't look fresh. We ordered the molten chocolate cake and that was good.
