So, I wasn't going to say anything but for the 2nd time now my family and I tried to eat at chili's mall of GA. The first time we waited for about 10 mins and no one came to take our drink orders, nothing. I have a toddler so that's just not acceptable. The second visit, which was today, the restaurant was pretty empty. Maybe 5 tables of people. We were sat quickly and then nothing. 3 different employees walked past our table talking about how slow the restaurant has been this past week but still no one came by our table. The guy who's table I could see from ours and who was sat seconds before us got his drink, appetizer, and order placed, meanwhile we were ignored. The cherry on top is there was a table of 2 manager right next to us who saw us sitting there forever and I know heard me saying where our sever but did nothing. Wow, just wow. Highly disappointed. Who in the hell waits over 10 minutes for a frikkin salad?! Come on. The hostess and servers are friendly but fakely so. You can sense the hostility and how they hate being at work. Drink order was wrong, table was dirty, and food had to be sent back. Ran out of drinks and took a really long to get refills. Dessert took a really long time. The check had to be corrected before we could pay. The chips were oily. I don't think I would come back. It is near the mall which is nice but not worth all the problem. read more

Great, friendly service in the bar. Cold beer, hot and soft pretzel sticks. Friendly bar tender and seven flatscreen TVs to watch some basketball. Pretty comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Also open until 11 during the week. Great place to visit during the week. Just wish there was a female bar tender! read more

I have been here several times. this was the restaurant me and my wife at our first meal together at. I like the old string onion rings that they had as an appetizer but they have taken it off the menu. My wife like the raspberry margarita but they also took that off the menu. she got the berry margarita and was pleased with it but still was not as good as the raspberry. their 2 for 20 meal is the way to go if you're going to eat with someone. I will still go back to that place because it is mine and my wife's favorite. if they bring back those two items I will definitely give it 5 stars. read more

I had made a comment about working they had something that wasn't on their menu and before I knew it he went and made it happen for me. I love chilis our server was great but the food was the worst, and I never complain about food, but this was worth complaining for, everything was over cooked and my salad has BBQ sauce on it. The cheese on everything was over cooked and burnt. read more

This Chili's is very family-friendly, and I like that since I have a family. The wait on the weekends isn't too bad either. The staff is typically helpful, friendly and fast without being annoying. The bartenders usually do a great job of getting my drink just the way I like it and the servers are not pushy with the alcohol. The cooks have always done a good job of getting the food the way we ask for it and with my picky husband, that is an accomplishment in itself. Prices are in line with the area. Did I mention it is family friendly?? Not a place I'd bring a romantic date for sure but a great place to kick back and have a nice dinner with the kids! read more

I'm giving this location 2 stars based solely on service. We were sat and not greeted for at least 5-7 mins which is not too long on a busy night but it was not busy....then we were bombarded by 3 servers so it was very confusing to who our server was. We finally got settled in with Josh who was awesome. He really did take great care of us once it was all said and done. My only other complaint was it was freezing in there! I'm extremely frustrated because I decided today I'd give this place a second chance. When I ordered my steak, I asked for it to be medium. It came out rare. So I sent it back. However it took them 20 minutes to finish it at which point the rest of my party was ready to leave and had finished eating. When it was put in front of me, it was medium on one side, and well done on the other. The entire steak was burned. I immediately paid for my meal and left. The manager was incompetent and did not seem to understand the concept of customer service. I'm an alumni of Le Cordon Bleu, so I know what to look for in a restaurant or dining experience and even though Chili's isn't a five star experience, this is one I won't be coming back to. Our server, Jessica, was very polite, our food came out well, it was cooked very well, the presentation was great but I was denied a beer because my I.D. wasn't sufficient. Being an immigrant, I tried using my green card and was told that I needed to show an I.D. That was issued by the U.S. Government (which a green card is). It isn't as bad as it could be, but I've never felt discriminated because of my nationality before. The manager (female, brown hair, relatively short) made me feel nothing short of uncomfortable. I pay my taxes, I waited seven years for the legal right to stay here and I couldn't even order a damn beer. Jessica and the cooks were great but that manager lost my service. read more

We have been going here off and on for a few years and I would have given it 3 stars but the last time we went there the server was so personally insulting to my teenage daughter (insinuated that she is fat and stated that he "could roll her out the door in a wheelbarrow when she's done eating) that it made her cry. The food has always been good here, and we love the manager. Any time there has been a small issue he's been so quick to fix it. Today while ordering curbside at a different location I encountered a problem that I was told they "couldn't do anything about it" (which I knew was untrue). I decided to order from Mall of Georgia instead, being closer also. Super glad I did so. The manager was very helpful and incredibly generous. When my boyfriend and I walked in, the hostess said it would be about fifteen minutes for the two of us to be seated, and it definitely took about that much time, maybe more. Now, that would have been fine if half of the tables in the restaurant weren't open and it was busy, but that wasn't the case. There should have no wait at all, but whatever we moved past it because we were so hungry. However, it just got worse from there. Our server just flat out sucked. We saw him maybe three or four times and when we did see him, he never asked how we were, took our plates, or refilled our drinks. To top it all of, we didn't even get one of the items we ordered. I would say at least the food was good, but it was just average. I used to love Chili's and go to it multiple times a month, but recently both my boyfriend and I have had HORRIBLE experiences with the service. "Manager is unavailable" the server, Rocky C, says. Who in any type of customer service job says this?!? Seriously?? I couldn't believe my ears. If there were negative stars, it would have been a better option for this Chili's I waited tables for 5 years while I was in college. I can't image how i could have kept my job if I told a patron that. A manager should ALWAYS be available for the people visiting their restaurant. I have been a Chili's lover for over a decade and I have never experienced this type of service. I suggested Chili's as a perfect restaurant for my boyfriend to take his 77 year old dad and daughter to lunch. Instead, I get a call from a very irritated beau who had the perfect storm of bad experiences any one can experience. He told me of being sat behind a petition with a server, Rocky C, who had a bad attitude and never checked in with them during the meal. The food from the quick lunch options took 40 minutes to hit the table and Rocky C had my beau's meal wrong. During the 30 minutes it took for the dish to be corrected and delivered back to the table, his father spilled his tea and Rocky C, nor any of the other servers who walked by the table, did not offered any assistance cleaning it up even with the puddle of tea next to the table and the few napkins they had littering the top of their table. Plus, no one could be bothered to stop as they tried to get a server's attention to ask for another tea. The other family members finished their lunches and his daughter had to leave to return to work. Then to top off this perfect experience, when Rocky C was asked to see a manager by a very upset guest, Rocky C bravely delivered the message that the "manager is unavailable" and dropped the check. Rocky C or a manager never came to the table before he left. Training was obviously not done very well at this location based on this experience and the other reviews left here. So unless you have a lot of time, patience and want to see what other unacceptable answers or service a wait staff member or manager can dare to give, this Chili's is not for you. Otherwise just drive by this restaurant and don't ruin you day or evening. read more

Usually, we find Chili's to be a good place to stop for a burger, salads or ribs and quesadillas. Stopped in this past Monday for lunch. Ordered the burger and fries. Took forever to get our food delivered. Wasn't that busy.. about the usual for a 1 p.m. lunch crowd. However, the fries were cold. Not impressed with this particular Chili's as this is the second time it has happened within a month. Will not go back as there are too many other choices near Mall of Georgia. read more

Never again and never another Chilis on a birthday EVER. So it's my daughters 3rd birthday. It's pouring rain and traffic is terrible. I opt for the already bad mom move and decide to go out for dinner. Now where can I take a family of 8 consisting of 4 kids, that will make a huge fuss for my very birthday aware daughter? Chilis right or Friday's. It's pouring and I am a loyal Chilis patron so the choice is obvious. We walk in, and the party right ahead of us happens to tell the host it is her bother's 20th birthday, and they came here to absolutely have a fuss made over him. The host said "I will let them know." We tell our waitress that it's our daughters birthday and she near about cried for us. Broken hearted she said that they don't sign the birthday song. They don't have candles for the cake. She is new and doesn't have a direct answer as to why, since the store she relocated from did do all that. However, the most she has gotten from anyone is that it is a corp. thing. She was gracious. She sang happy birthday to our daughter - who spent the entire night asking "is it birthday yet." If this review was based on the service it would have 5 stars but the overall experience was horrible. The food was ok. My burrito was a whopping serving of rice. Great location - clean and modern with new tabletop technology. Ability to place drink and dessert orders from the table using mini computer - even pay your bill. We ordered wine, and it was brought to our table within two minutes of placing the order. New menu design with tons of choices - nice lighter menu with calories listed. Definitely more upscale than it used to be. Service was very good, friendly, and food was very good. Only drawback with the food was rice being a little over cooked, and the very small portions on the condiments for fajitas. Overall a good experience, and plan to return often. read more

I quit eating there when I decided to lose some weight, but Wednesday afternoon I had an overwhelming urge for a good old fashioned burger and I was near the Mall. I stopped by around 1:30 and the place was pretty empty. I was greeted by the hostess and was pointed to the bar side and told to pick a table. I started to do that and it seemed very chilly. (sorry, I couldn't help myself...) I asked her if the other side might be less frigid and she told me to pick a table over there. OK. The waitress showed up quickly and took my order. She was very nice and friendly. It seemed to take an awfully long time for my burger, considering that the place was not at all busy, but eventually the food came out. I like hot fries, and I'm old enough to remember when fries were always cooked to order. I make it a habit to always try one immediately to see if they are hot. Nope. A bit warm, maybe, but not hot. I got the feeling that the whole meal might have spent a while under the warming lamps awaiting pick-up. Just a guess, based on how long it took to arrive. Before the waitress could walk away I asked if I could get some hot fries. She apologized and re-appeared about 2 minutes later with some fries that had obviously just come out of the oil. Really hot. Perfect. The burger didn't seem as good as I remembered. Not bad, but maybe from a frozen patty. I've been getting pretty good burgers lately at another burger place: fresh, never frozen, hand pattied. It's hard to go back to what seems like a factory made, perhaps frozen, slab of ground beef. All in all, a mediocre lunch. Not bad, but not great. The waitress was great; very attentive and friendly. If the fries had been hot the first time out I probably would have just written it off and not bothered to Yelp them. read more

We will drive 100 miles to avoid this Chilis! It's disgusting! Our last trip here was a scene from a movie. We were seated near the bar with our 2 kids (which isn't an issue). Every table around us was dirty with food piled on the tables. My husband pointed out piles of food (literally) that was covered on the floor. Our waitress was AWFUL, our food took FOREVER and the Manager was too busy hitting on a lady a few tables up from us to even come by and ask us how our experience was.
